I'm going to steal your thread Narc as it obviously needs some help....... Following on from this thread at The Fishpond I'm happy to say that on 3.3.06 at 9:30 Alexander suddenly found himself with a sister. Emelie was pulled out through the sunroof 3 weeks early, but still managed to weigh 9lbs 3½oz (4.18kg). She lost a lot of weight (500 g in 5 days) and had to be referred back to the neonatal intensive care unit, but is now doing well. Hectic times all around. Now if only I had that Swedish paternity leave...

Yeah that Swedish maternity leave kicks arse, apparently. Hello Deej, it's good to see hear from you and also good to see that your latest edition to the family has come through the sunroof safely. So, everything went well for Mrs Deej too by the sound of things.
Your camera captures colour beautifully, is this the Emilie practising the: I'm going to hold my breathe until I get my way phase?

Conga-rats Deej, Mrs Deej and the Deej-Blobs!
Was she officiating an in-womb helmetball game?

Nice work Deej! I can't say the same for Mrs Deej, lying there full of drugs isn't exactly work, is it?
Hope all are well and that there was no penalty on the play.

Well done on hijacking the thread Deej. Extra kudos for pissing on Narks bonfire.
She is a bit pink though. Lefto Commie?

Well as you can see she's just about to throw her yellow flag down for banned substance abuse on her mother.
The pink was the precursor to jaundice which thankfully has now also faded.

Planning to find out if it's a blob or a blip (or something), Nark?

Nope. That would make it far to easy on us should it turn out to be a girl as we have another 6 months of agonising over boy's names to look forward to.

Aye, fine cheers moo. Last week Mrs Nark fell over for no apparent reason and smashed her chin in but the baby was alright so that's the main thing. I told her. After she had been in casualty for 3 hours. While I sat at home watching Blob. Well, I didn't actually say that. Being rather attached to my reproductive organs and wanting to stay that way.
Still feels far less real than when Blob was coming. The main worry is that we have to buy a new car because our current one is too small. Basically. And crap. And old. Oh and we have to convert the "office" (computer room) into Blob II's room. And have all the computery stuff upstairs in a hallway-ey type area. So as not to take up the guest room. Because we wouldn't want to do that. Oh no.

Huh. "guests".
Like fish, isn't it, hmm?
Guests. Pah.
I have had the door firmly slammed on a fourth blob. Even the pressure of the elder two blobs supporting me and the wee one supporting us with an "Oi! Stinky bum muppet!", which we took as a yes.
Still no joy.

Yeah that would be a silly thing to do, I'm on her side with the Guest room quandary. However, if I actually had a guest room, I'm sure things would be different.
Glad to see that your relaxed attitude towards injuries is still there. To be fair, she brought it on herself wearing those clown shoes you bought for her birthday last year. Doesn't she know that you don't wear them for general use? They're only for balancing on high wires and riding on unicycles?
Buying new cars for the purpose of putting more kids into is teh suXX0r. I'm sure the same car with a roof rack would do just the same job, freeing up some cash for that new TV and hang glider you wanted.

In semi-blob/guest room related news, we're moving in October. From the 2 bedroom semi to the five bedroom detached former corn mill. There's some pics of it here: www.poplex.co.uk - if you look at the subalbums on the right, under Doug and Treena there is one called The Mill- house to be or something like that. Wrought iron spiral staircase. Oh aye.

Well, we like our wee house and will miss it, but from a practical sense, no, we can't wait.

Nice house your moving into Pops, it has a warm cosy feel about it. Was the last occupant a Van Gough fan, what with all the yellow around? In the end I was looking for a picture with sunflowers in it
