And to follow, irrespective of whether Hopkins has been chosen for the bout against Coffers' fella in September, I'll put him forward for a fight in December on either of the Regional Lightweight bouts.
I assume you haven't rolled your die yet on whether or not our other "put them in for fight X" instructions have been successful.

All July results posted, save for Moo's, which will be done later, as he can't get on in the evening.
Notes from the July punch card will also go out to anyone with the scouting attribute.

And once they are sent out to those with that skill, then we'll be able to sort out August's orders?

Aye. Although anyone with or without scouting could post August orders in their forums now, as you won't be fighting any of the guys who were on the July bill, so it's just for information purpose.

OK cool.
When do we know if our fighters are appearing on future bills?

The first set have been announced. The next set of lucky weiners will be announced when the month ticks over from July to August, before the August orders are processed. So that you can say now "I'd like Billy Biffer to fight train, although if he doesn't get onto the bill for October, I'd like to train him in 'Fetching me a pint.'"
Or you can wait a bit.

I'll wait a bit. No point in me telling you what i want to do until I know if the "fighters" are going to be active.

In that case I've changed my August orders in case larging doesn't get on to the October card.

Is it just me or does there not seem like there's very much tíme to actually train any of the boxers what with pre-match training and post-match recuperation. Seems that you can't really ever manage more than 2 fights a year.
AND
Do boxers gain ability from the actual fights? And from prematch training?

Nah, from what I can see there's no time at all Nark. I think you need to plan no more tha 1 fight a year and make sure it's a good one with high exposure.

If you fight twice a year that's six months taken, at most, less if you've got a boxer that gets up to speed quickly. After each fight you'll be told how long it's likely for your boxer to recover and that isn't going to be long when he's in a four round fight. Plus you can shortcut the recovery time by using the Rest command for a fighter.
With proper planning and a full 12 months, you could proably put two boxers through three fights each, although two would be the norm and certainly when you move out of the Regional ranks to higher levels, two would be my target. It's about what happens in real life too, for whatever that's worth.
I know it's been fairly slow to this point, but that's because I've been creating something out of nothing and trying to keep a hold of it here, so that it's manageable once we get going.
If the pace turns out to be too slow in the future, when it comes to actual fights, then we'll introduce the Magic Sponge™ or something and fiddle with the rules to help that.

I could fit in two fights, training myself twice and eight sessions of fighter training in one year, thusly : Month Fighter A Fighter B Jan -----Train Manager---- Feb Fight Train Defence Mar Fight Train Fight Train Apr Fight Fight Train May Rest Fight Jun Power Stamina Jul Fight Train Defence Aug Fight Power Sep -----Train Manager---- Oct Defence Fight Train Nov Power Fight Train Dec Power Fight

Hmm... I suppose that makes sense. Particularly the sneaky "bringing real life into it" bit. Bit uncalled for though.
You may procede.
I'm not worried about the pace. (despite evidence to the contrary). You just tootle along as you like and I'll moan about it and everyone will be a winner. And then, if I have time, I'll try to work in a bit of a moan at elthy for holding things up with his inconsiderate geographical placing. :thumb:

He should relocate, it's true.
Considering his ancestry, Liverpool would be ideal for him and there's plenty hubcaps for him.

No one uses hubcaps anymore Moo. Tooooooo Risky.
