Details, rules, etc...
OK then, so below is the schedule for this farce of a tournament and if I recall, I grouped together the games into every couple of days on the occasion of the last World Cup. I also requested that the predictions were sent to me via PM by noon at the latest on the day of the matches, or in the case of the KO stages, by noon of the first of the pair. That would probably be fine again, although I'm not currently in a job where I have as much free time as the last one, so updates to tables, etc may be a little less timely.
If anyone wants the spreadsheet to fill in the details, give me a shout, or if you'd rather just cut and paste from the below schedule, that's fine too. I'll keep up-to-date as much as I can and no doubt we'll all be amazed at Pops' predictions of a Portugeese 17-0 win again.
Scoring: If you get the score exactly correct, you get 3 points, if you get the correct result, you get 1 point, anything else 0 points.
eg Portugal v Turkey
Actual: Portugal 2 - 1 Turkey
Pops: Portugal 9 - 1 Turkey - 1 point Boony: Portugal 2 - 1 Turkey - 3 points Spanky: Portugal 2 - 2 Turkey - 0 points
Any questions, give me a shout.
Schedule:
To be predicted by 5pm, 29th June (BST) Sun 29 June - Final Germany v Spaia

Sign me up, Moo. Not sure I'll top the prediction of Serbia And Montenegro to finish 4th from the last World Cup, but I'll give it my best shot.

Predictees:1. Moo 2. Boony 3. Narkle 4. Hornet 5. s1ut 6. Spanky 7. Sonic 8. 9. 10. 11. 12. Can I be moved to number 11 please? I'm much better on the left wing. With Narkle at left back we'll make for a dangerously sarcastic and disaffected threat down that side. And why the fook are you in goal?

If I'm right back, I've got to run an awfully long way. Who's being told to sniff their own arse?

I read about it in Andy Gray's book. You're going to "arrive late in the box."
About half an hour after the end of the game.

There'd better be a pub at the end of that run.

If you look at the AMR, you'll see I've sent Sonic to the pub to get the first round in.

Count me in I suppose. But I don't want to be a central midfielder, I haven't got the legs for it these days, nor do I want to be the arse sniffer.

Me too I guess. And I'm a goalie too so take the hint Moo. Good grief we're awash with keepers, That was the position I played for the last 14 seasons of my footballing life. (Between the ages of 28 to 44). The prior years I could play anywhere in defence or midfield, though right or left back were my preferred positions.

I've played two games of football in my life. One of them at left back for the school team in Oman, one of them at right back for my Sixth Form C team...

If you look at the AMR, you'll see I've sent Sonic to the pub to get the first round in. I noticed that, and also that there was no return arrow too. I must have got side tracked. Or done a Cantana.
