Right enough it found like thousands of errors but it costs money to fix them, in the form of a license you have to buy. (incidentally they've done a decent job of disguising the fact that you will have to pay for it until after you've downloaded the application and scanned the first time. The cheeky gits). Anyone know of reliable free exes that will do the same thing, or how I can get the ccleaner thing to work without parting with a bunch of cash? Urgh! Don't mind me. I completely missed the fact that the link I clicked on had been highjacked by RegCure so I wasn't even downloading the program I thought I was. I am the stone age neanderthal. And yes coffs. I don't see how the cc thing is going to help. lastrecourse.phpwebhosting.com/DAY/RegSeeker.zip - RegSeeker lets you 'tidy' up loose entries and such. But if you've installed something silly, then you're going to need something a bit more intensive on the reg cleaning utility front. I don't understand why they asked you to use CCCleaner, but hey-ho.

What dc and coffers said, basically. I don't know how cc will help in what looks more like a case of hardware failure.
And coffers: the PMCIA thing still works better than a dongle (hehe), but is less uurrmm, "mobile" and user friendly. I have encountered some laptops that simply refuses to recognize the card but had no trouble with the USB version.
