And then there were seven....
Coffers, isn't #8 your lucky number?

Holy crap. Hornet has put down £9,000,000...
I shall commence with covering his path to Division 3 with rose petals. Or Tunnocks.

Why is bloody Julian Velasquez on the bloody loan list if you don't want to loan him out, you stupid stupid bastards? I had £20 million in the kitty. I've spent about £14 million. That's how it's supposed to work, right?

It's the way a real divot would do it.
Sadly my offer for Michel Bastos was turned down.

Werder Bremen tried to buy my best player, but I told them to fuck right off sunshine.
If I get promoted and then go broke, I still "win", right?

Can you only have two Goalkeepers at one time?

I've got three?

I had three when I started. I traded one away for some beans.

I have three, but one of them is Scottish. So I only have two.

Rochdale: A 0-0 draw with Stu's "Leyton" Orient which sounds more exciting than it actually was. I suffered the text commentary which in itself was ordinary. How did we cope without dancing dot$? Anyhoo, I see others have really splashed the cash out again this weekend, which I am hoping I don't need to do just yet.
Newcastle: I had a fantastic 2-2 draw with Everton, who have an abundance of 90+ rated players, so I'm hoping that the tactical nous I have developed over the years with CM/FM is now starting to bear fruit.
(Yeah, right!)

Holy crap. Hornet has put down £9,000,000... I shall commence with covering his path to Division 3 with rose petals. Or Tunnocks. Or not. :moop: Still, my Watford side stuffed Brentford 4-0, which was nice.

I spent 10m.... But already paying off. My new shiny Filip Sebo scored twice and got MoM in the 3-1 win over Brentford. New captain, Neil Alexander, played well too. Good start, when all is said and done.

2-1 loss to Bury - who had an average rating about 3 points less than us. Admittedly I made the mistake of starting too many tired new transfers (Mr Nobody's legs had fallen off by the end of the game - thought the game would auto-sub when someone is too tired, silly me) but still.
Like Hornet my other team won 4-0. So that's alright.

My other team, being Moo's lot in a premier league I was invited to, won 2-1 away to the Baggies, despite having the second worst rated team in the division.
We were outshot 14-6 and they had 8 shots on target to our... two. But both of ours went in. Stephen Ireland curled in a free kick and Shola Goal Ameobi tried to chip the goalie, but the keeper caught it and then fumbled it into his own net. So well done there.
Arsenal threw away a 3-0 lead to lose 4-3 to Chelsea. So maybe it's more realisitc than I gave it credit for.

I had £11.9M I think, with Rochdale and still have £11M of it left.
Those half-time Tunnocks are expensive.
