Enjoy it all, one and all.
As of 1st February, I start work at the University of St Andrews. New chapter and all that- back to mainland life. It's been a while (18 years give or take).
AVAUNT!

Congratulations! Don't forget to take your anthropomorphised beachball with you on the raft.

Congratulations! Remember they're not as open minded about recreational whaling in the big smoke.

Congrats Pops, with the big day approaching do you have somewhere to live lined up?

Yep, sorted out a rented four bedroom bungalow in a place called Clayton. About six miles outside St Andrews, in the country, no neighbours. Sweeeet.
One more week at this grindstone, then away on Saturday to the new life.

St. Andrews? No neighbours till Trump shows up.
Or Moo.

One is certainly more worrying than the other.

Indeed. At least I can scare Trump away by telling him there's a giant Moslem coming round for tea. What do I tell the Bovine Yoghurt?
Seriously, though- East coast trainline. Maybe CotD2 could re-raise. By Skype.

Sorry for my late reply, I couldn't get past the tumbleweed.
Don't you worry your pretty little head, dear mainlander, I have thought about popping up to St Andrews for naan bread and tikka saag, or a cuppa. I just haven't decided when it's going to be yet.
I'd be astonished if El Presidente or the cream-jeans wearing monkey would be up for some divotry, mind you.

The Pantylicker retired a couple years ago. Time he got into management too.
Meanwhile, I was rooting through my St. Albans thread looking for a particular picture and bumped into this gem from Hornet...
Villa remind us that if you want something enough you can achieve it.

And... DITTO! Happy things to all divots. Still at work until 11 tomorrow, but then festivities begin.
Have a good one. Two. Three. Etcetera, etcetera.

Lokochita was 15 years ago. Just thought I'd point out how old we all are.
Happy Non Denominational Seasonal Celebrations!

S'alright, innit. I'm greyer than I used to be, and have too many mini-Boos running around stealing my FMM-gaming time, but it's not so bad. You lot?

My Bismarck Pocket Battleships are six and eight years old, which is ridiculous. I'm still working for tea, ice cream and marmite and "enjoying" Trump's Utopian vision of the future. Something that should continue without issue because despite being an immigrant I'm really very, very white. Both kids are attractive enough that I'm still suspicious they're not actually mine.

I would suggest you came home but things here are, well, hmm... Nice photo, my mini Boos are 5 and 2: I did complete FMH14 earlier this year, getting through a 30 year career, mostly on the bus commute to work over about 2 years. Started in the conference south and went via Bristol Rovers, Wolves, Liverpool to a glittering career at Man Utd through the 2030s before taking over at Arsenal and finally Everton before retiring. I haven't played since.
