See if you can find a Shandiland team with lots of forriners on board and offer to come and tell them all about Sweden. Thre team that's winning our division is a solid number of skill points weaker than mine, but is much, much better adapted, so is getting a lot out of their players.
I'm just a tour guide right now. With 2 tackling.
As for the pop - once a week the team train tackling, but when they train long shots or keeping or what have you, I go back to tackling. I think I'm on it four times a week.
The fact that I never play means I only need one day of fitness training a week, which helps.

They approached me, Narkle. I can't even recall going on their team list or anything, so it's not like they saw me superb name and said "We must sign him!"
You can probably approach a human manager, Narkle, just tell him that you've just started, want to know the craic and will forfeit playing games for some decent training. It might get you on there.

Being called Buster Commander makes you worth signing.

It's a great centre half name, isn't it? Which is where I'm going to be playing, apparently. That or DM.

If I approach anyone in Shandiland I have to do it in shandilandish though and it's liderally years since I wrote anything in Shandilandish. Also it inhibits my usual exuberance and good nature. Although my spelling doesn't deteriorate dramatically from my English. It would seem.
How does this "being a tour guide" thingy work then? Do you just have to use up all your interaction points on the forriners?

There's an interaction you can do called "Tell him about [country]" and it adds about 1% to the player's adaptability. Being in a foreign country also makes them feel sad, so if you buddy up with them it helps their morale too.
"Sit next to him in the changing room" sounds a bit dubious to me though.

My team's record so far this season: P12 W1 D0 L11, F3 A86So yeah. Our average result this year is losing 7-0. This incredible string of games included starting as we meant to go on with a 10-1 loss on opening day, the 12-0 thumping on my debut, a 14-0 loss and, brilliantly, going down 20-0 at home to "Predators". You're not managing this team, are you Moo? Actually, it could be worse. The team we beat a month ago to spoil an otherwise unblemished record are Blackburn Athletic. 11 games played, 10 losses, 3 scored, 105 conceded. Still, my Finishing, Positioning, Pace and Stamina are all up to a dizzying 1 now, which I'm sure is going to make all the difference.

Woohoo! I got the assist in a 1-1 draw in a local derby against FC Malmö. Which was, of course, played in Gothenberg.
Go me!

Our dazzling run of form continues with a 14-0 loss at Work Blues in Liverpool (shome mishtake, shurely? Don't you have to work before you can get the work blues?). I rate a 3. Which is two more than our goalie.

Nice work, Narkle.
Not so much, Hornet.
However, it's all a step (or eight) up from me, as I travel with the squad and interact with them all weekend, which can only be a good thing. We play the league leaders at the weekend and we're four points adrift with two games to play. Somehow I can't see me making my debut in that game.

You never know Moo, you could 'guide' a few players to the a back alley and show them your friend Steal, and then your friend bed and hospital, thus opening up a position on the team for you.

I wouldn't want to, they're doing OK as they are.
I popped to 2 in technique now and apprently I have been transformed into a MC.

Playing a full match certainly buggers up your fitness level. You're better off out of it Moop. I bet managers only really look at the stats and not experience level anyway.

I got in a spat this weekend with the manager because I wanted to play and he said no. We won 12-0 so I said he could probably find a way to play us new players, because right now the game should be called "Tour Guide Star" and I was thinking of begging out of my contract and going back to a bot team.
He told me to hush, so I changed my feeling to "Wants to play more" and I've stopped interracting with the team mates. They can find out what a shithole Chicago is themselves, without me telling them.

Ooh! That all sounds exciting.
I quite like Chicago myself. Well I say I like it but it's one of the few US cities I've spent any time in so that's really what I should have put instead.

Hark at you, Mr Prima-Donner Kebab. If the manager picks a team and they win 12-0, I think you should be quiet.
I'm just happy to have a non-binary stat.

It's £3 ($5) from the same country, it's £25 ($40?) for an international call. It's the reason I'm waiting so I can afford a PC so I can send e-mails for free.

After popping in technique yesterday, I moved all training to tackling and popped to a mighty 1 this morning.
Technique 2, Tackling 1, Stamina 1.
