Leave me alone, I'm tired.
In other news, if anyone wants a 4 yo kid who wakes you up at 2:30am to ask you to take him to the toilet because it's dark, then tells you he doesn't need to go anymore, just let me know and I'll post you one.

You've taught him about light switches, right? Or, in your part of the country, candles...

We try not to give four year old matches to light their candles here, Boo. We think that is a tad irresponsible.
Shame on you and your French brethren.

2-year old French children use matches to light their Gaulloises, so are well used to fire safety. It's all part of a healthier environment...

Are you interested in a swap for a 9-month-old who skips the whole sleeping bit and howls uninterruptedly for hours? If so, I may be able to assist you there.

My sources tell me that playing Civ III in front of the baby will help in this matter, as it's clearly the best of the series.
Hope that helps.

Moo, that's just evil. Meej - Sleep Whole Night method - Anna Wahlgren. Worked a treat with Blob, works pretty well for with Blob II. Unless there's something specific stopping said baby from sleeping (too late for colic though).

Yeah, we tried that with Alba for like two weeks. Then we decided that it was going to work too well as it was going to kill us three so that we could sleep for eternity, and we dropped it.
I've had it strongly recommended, but it did not work with Alba. We have not tried it with Javier as he is going through toothing, and also hemorroids. I'd empathise with the poor bostord if he did not yell so fuckin loud for so fuckin long.

She's holding a giant head, attached to an imitation wall, is that normal in Spaia?

She's holding a giant head, attached to an imitation wall, is that normal in Spaia? Look carefullier: she is visibly throwing it away, I assume that besiegers are trying to storm the imitation walls so she is throwing heads on top of them, for discouragement purposes.

You'd probably have stood up to old Napoleon a lot better if you didn't make your castles out of cheese.

Technically, they could not storm Cádiz. I think they had ran out of wine.

Forgot to mention the rebate thing.
Long ago, stores would use football tournaments as promotional ads: "buy a new TV for the World Championship, and if Spain wins it's your money back!". It worked at the start, but then people realized Spain never won it and thus interest waned.
In a testament to current faith in our national team, a store ran a revamped campaign: "buy a new TV for the Euro Championship, and if Spain makes it past the quarter finals it's 25% of your money back!"
Early this week I walked past one of the stores in the chain and the queue of people asking for their money back spilled out into the street. I don't think we were ready for this.

That looks like one store could be going bankrupt.

Well, if they had used cheese instead of bricks for their shop, they could afford the rebate.
