Unnaturally funny. It shouldn't be that funny.

Yeah, that vid is great. I got a kick out of this for some reason: There's a funny HTML one in there somewhere.

More forking cats. They've got the science wrong too. Stupid felines.

I think the thing I find oddest about that site is that all the cats speak leet.

I can't remember what it is, but the language has an actual name and it isn't leet. Some linguistics ponce has even started a grammatical disection of the cat language, so that folks can now tell you when you're doing it wrong.

It's looks like some sort of Pigeon English with a far eastern slant to me.

"Man I've got some preposterous flatulence."
We finally found someone whose dialogue is more hackneyed than Lucas!
This is gold, Narkle. Nice find.

It is a sad reflection on my life that I know of and have the comics where they come in all alternate FF members but the latest ones. She-Hulk, She-Thing, Crystal, Medusa... even Herbie, for fuck's sake, whom Byrne had its head blown off.

There's a rundown of the unreleased Fantastic Four film from 1994 on the site as well. While in a stunning coincidence I just happened to have watched the 2005 version the day before yesterday and I know which one sounds like more fun.
I'd forgotten about Herbie in the FF4* cartoon though (which must have been shown in Britain at some stage in the 70s) so thumbs up for that.
*Yes that would be the Fantastic Four Four.

I mean, really, has there ever been a film that has sucked as much as the Fantastic Four film. It wasn't even bad in a way that you could find it funny. It was just a turgid turd. (to get all alliterative). Obviously, something like Cool as Ice is going to be worse but, then again, it does have this. So it must be better.

I did think that Herbie replaced the Human Torch on TV because plotwise it made more sense to have a robot with various appendages instead of a guy who shot flames but who could not actually shoot them at anybody it being a children's cartoon. That did not save Herbie from being a twonk, though.
Back then, I was surprised to find out they did try to follow classic FF comic book plots instead of just churning out their own pap, as they did to Spiderman.

I actually saw about seven minutes of Cool as Ice, as it was on ITV17 or some such at about 2am and I went flying past it on the remote and had to back up a couple of channels because I was like "Dude! Sherilyn Fenn!" I then had to wait through some stupidly long shot of Ice looking pensive on a yellow motorcycle before they cut back to the chick and it wasn't Fenn at all.
I didn't see any crazy dance moves.

And yes, I can accept that it was the writers' fault. But I still can't find it within myself not to hate Wil Wheaton. Somethings are just too deeply etched in your psyche.

He has some fairly large points. It was always quite incredible that one Sci fi character could generate universal loathing. And with damned good reason. And his point about the Ferengi is a good one too- they were a comedy race until DS9.
I liked DS9. I mean, I watched TNG religiously, but I liked DS9. Captain Kate fecked up Trek for me- never watched Enterprise, despite the thumbs up from friends.

I liked Enterprise, (that'll earn me the usual meej smiting for liking something, I'm sure), but couldn't get into DS9 at all because it was, essentially, a car park in space.
They had one developing storyline, (a war of some sort), which was vaguely watchable but for the rest of it. Meh.
TNG never really grabbed me either. Possibly because the series opened with "Q" - a character who annoyed me to the extent that I'd quite happily push a wood chipper into his face.

I don't think I ever watched DS9 - don't have a memory of it, at least. TNG I watched lazily at times, without specific interest.
Enterprise... well, it was starred by the guy from Quantum Leap, wasn't it, which means it was crap because everything he's been involved with since then has been crap. You don't get much clearer warning signs on TV: if that dude is on it, then it's crap.
It's one of those things, I once spent a weekend fitfully tossing in my bed wondering how Band of Brothers came to be noncrap when one of the planks from Friends was in it. Did not make sense.

Forgot to mention that TNG was one bald guy acting cool surrounded by half a dozen people with brooms stuck up their arses. Not exactly gripping.
