I think Crayfish was the author of the book. As not long after the visit all those that were in the guild prior to it's demise wiped me off their friends list and stopped spamming joke emails to the divots gm email address.
I may have unintentionally upset him. Obviously I should think before I post but hey ho, no fun in that.

I had a feeling it was the author pretending very hard to not be the author.
That or one of your exes.

What's done is done and I ain't looking back.

Everyone's a critic nowadays, even Crayfish (which would probably surprise (s)he). You can't even post on a message board when someone comes along and has to comment on what was commented on. So you wrote a book. Not everyone likes reading the bible either! Sheesh.

To be fair Sonic he did comment on me commenting on a book I hadn't read, My comment was meant as the genre wasn't 'my cup of tea'. He read it differently, as I said, his perogative to misread what I meant, though I suppose I could have been clearer in the comments.
I'm not sure how you lot took the comments, but I didn't expect anyone here to go and fork out money to read an ebook, but posted the link anyway just in case.

deej isn't Belgian.
He has a Dutch wife, but I don't think that automatically makes you Belgian.
Whereas Crayfish is clearly Guatemalan.

Sorry Coffers, it wasn't at you in the slightest (literally even). I was styling it that way as that was how it sounded in my head. The sound was of that animated charater who says exit, stage left. That was how I heard it as I posted it. I fully agree with your initial post about the book, as people acutally get paid to do that sort of thing.

Luckily it seems to be a bit quiet here so I may be able to procrastinate and spend hours on messageboards indulge in large amounts of online research.

Welcome back deej anyway. Are you still breaking CM for Eidle? I see they're giving it away for free now.

Yes, I still pop in and out of the Eidos forums. I got the special edition of this version which has a poster type affair with league rules for all the countries on it. A snacky little tactics notebook and, wait for it, a CM pencil.....
I'm sure I've got some piccies somewhere.

Today I be missing in action, well from work anyway, everything is at a standstill here, 7 inches of snow overnight and it's still going strong. The M58 motorway that I use to get to work hasn't been ploughed and at least one section of it is closed.

I made it in today, but wished I hadn't. More snow here tonight, so hopefully I'll be "working" from home tomorrow.

I heard on the radio this morning (~7:30am) that Manchester and Liverpool airports were both closed, as was Leeds/Bradford, so I'm not surprised there's a lot of snow over that way.

A foot or so in St. Helens the last day or so. Sprinkling last night just to top it off. Started my new job on Monday, not been in since

I reckon it capped off at about a foot in Upholland, the main problems being getting out the drive and close which are both on a hill, going up to get out. Walked out to teh post office today the main roads look ok it's getting onto them that's a problem.
