BTW, any feedback on the scoring system or how this is working?

I like the scoring system enough to consider ripping it off for a pool at work.

That doesnt surprise me. You ripped off my wine label idea and it got you a move to the US.

I like it. It's an interesting mix of wanting the reward of picking the underdog, and wanting the certainty of picking the favourite. It's like gambling.
Of course, then you pick the underdog and every other fucker does too...

Based on the screwy score system (based on my observations that I am not winning) my new tactic is to vote for the probable losers and then bank on one team pulling it out of the bag each week and thereby netting me all the points.
Or something.
I call it the 'Tim Tebow unCertainty Principle'.

I take it you don't approve of the scoring system, DC?
Can I just say that so far, in the other league I'm doing (for the SpInG LLMers), that tactic hasn't worked.

How did we end up with Jets and Dolphins in the pick 'em?
I blame the commissioner.

Because they're playing our chosen teams? Hey, just because they're my rules, it doesn't make it my fault. Oh wait, you're talking about Rodge, right? Also, I have the difficult task of being objective in the other league, as some canute picked New England to annoy me.

I think it works fine, just from my perspective as bottom (I blame replacement refs, natch) the fastest way to possibly bounce up the charts other than voting 1-0 in every game is to try and get 2 surprise picks a week and get 12pts rather than trying to accrue .2 points per week to overtake you poofs.

Of the upsets this week, I like Hornet's San Diego pick the most.

Thankfully, the Jets didn't win, I'm not sure I could handle DC thrusting in my face.
Table up.

Could be worse, could be Boony thrusting. As calculated gambles go, that one I pulled out of my arse

I think we all had enough of Boony thrusting at CotD II. I've never been able to do the hokey-cokey since.
