I spent Saturday putting the package together that arrived from Austria. A brand new twin Pushchair, only cost £50 including ost and packaging, it was supposed to be worth £294 in the shops. Madness, I'll be able to make a profit when I come to sell it. Twas a bargain and it's a damned solid thing too, not like the flimsy Mamas and Papa's chair that the parents bought which cost £400 in the shop and which keeps falling apart. We both have had a cold all weekend, so apart from that and GloF I didn't do a lot.

A brand new twin Pushchair, only cost £50 including ost and packaging, ost = cheese in Swedish so you got a cheap pushchair and some dairy products? Result.

Hopefully SO tonight, tommorrow night and Sunday night, but I'm sure Mrs C will put the Kybosh on one of those.
As for daytime activities, we'll head into Manchester on one of the days:
1. to look for a new coffee table and possibly a new Settee and chair or two and two, 2. Mrs C wants a watch for Xmas and wants to pick it herself and she has stipulated that it won't be from Samuels. 3. Daughter moves back into the house so there may be some furniture moving duties to attend to.
Empty Wallet alert. :humb:

Friday night was wine and Lost. Saturday we went and bought £100 worth of prime Highland beef from a friend, so it was steak, beef, steak, beef all weekend. Yum. Then had friends round, drank copiously and had fun. Sunday chilled out- took the kids to the beach and we found a seal pup. Trying to keep four kids and a dog from manhandling the mite was fun. Gah.

Spent yesterday traipsing around every jewellers in Manchester looking for a watch that Mrs C liked, the only one she took a liking to was Gucci at £575, but she wanted to find one like it for less than £50. FFS!
I tried explaining to her, that cheapo companies don't produce made to measure quality watches in designs that she wants. She doesn't actually want an expensive one as 'it's only a watch to tell the time', which is fair enough, but has to be gold and it has to look nice and......... Oh give me strength!
Sometimes I just want to give it all up and live on an island. A smaller island than I already live on that is, preferably an idiot free island.

Come to Malaysia, you can get ANYTHING here including Gucci sold by smelly Burmese who can't speak a word of English other than "very cheap, very nice"

That would be all very well, Fuzzy but it would be cheaper for me to buy the Gucci in the long run.

Friday: online poker I think, it's been too long. Saturday: xmas shopping and then back to the house for 5pm for Mr Policeman to arrive. Then it's anyones guess. Sunday: No idea. I'd imagine it won't be all that exciting.

Tonight... Happy Hour. Then adding Night Nurse to the alcohol to make sure I get to sleep. Having a bad cold that makes you sneeze every four seconds six days after a dentist spent two and a half hours ripping one wisdom tooth out is not fun.
Tomorrow - the company "Holiday Party" - you can't call it Christmas anymore, it seems.
Sunday. Hangover, mostly.

Tonight: Travelling to Middlesbrough to the old folks.
Saturday: Distriibuting wrapped Xmas presents to put under treees, as I won't get back this side of 2008 then Shopping for Mrs C's Expensive Watch/Designer Handbag for her Xmas present.
Saturday Night: Dishing out more presents for under tree decorations then getting pissed at my sisters house.
Sunday: Travelling home and GloF if I can avoid Xmas tree/decorations duty, which is unlikely.

Last Night: Micro(department) Christmas party at a pub;
Today: Shopping, washing, beach for lunch which also turned into another bass guitar being purchased, though this one was put on layby;
Tomorrow: Not sure, probably relax and watch the replay of the Liverpool game as it's on at 4am over here and I'd have to go to the casino to watch it :moop: A trip to Maroubra for a swim, though it depends on the weather.
