Given the fact that Moo has the same sort of selection of old rap and old indie stuff he ought to be very highly compatible with me. Ha!

I saw this lot before they were famous. [ clicky] and by "before they were famous" I mean before some music industry twat told the lead singer to pull on a punisher tshirt and look pouty. Before then the lead was a lot more "Napoleon Dynamite." They were the support band for some bunch of toss I went to see and were roughly 1,497 times better than the main act. Also, despite being very odd looking, I think I would have married the bass player by the end of the evening. Unfortunately they've nothing I can add to the playlist. so I'll have to put more Dire Straits on instead.

Coincidentally, I was Levellersing it up last night to get me in the mood for the poker. In the car, mind, so unless Lastfm is affiliated with Skynet I'm don't think it'd affect the ratings.
They really should install the scrobbler (nnnng) in your brain. That'd be a lot more efficient. It would mean that my playlist for yesterday would consist of the first twenty seconds of "Geno" by Dexy's Midnight Runners played over and over and over again, though.

Gah. They've no full tracks of Basement Jaxx. But they do have a full track by Altern-8. What?

( Excuse me while I use a non-sactioned smiley.) Through Altern-8 I bumped into the Ministry of Sound group. I thought I'd have a poke around and see what our overhyped club was recommending these days - the group's user's top two songs? Nelly Furtado and Britney Spears.

I think I've still got my Lastfm account, but the chart would be basically Motown, grunge and the Wu-Tang Clan.

Motown is ok, I have to put up with Motown because Mrs C and all her friends love it.

Fair point. Taking a look at my list, it seems Sugababes garnered one more play than Eric B and Rakim.
I always preferred them when it was Eric B and Rakim and Mutya anyway.

I always preferred them when it was Eric B and Rakim and Mutya anyway. I'm vaguely embarrassed that I got that.

If you don't like Motown, you're either a) deaf or b) dead inside. It's everything that great pop music should be. And that's an end to it.

Chris Moyles was 'schooling' his audience with a Stevie Wonder best of earlier; it's the longest I've been able to abide his show in years.

Good grief, Lady In Black by Uriah Heap. I've not heard them in years, Probably decades even.

Annoying how it scambles your playlist and then will play the same song lots, and not play another one at all. I guess that's their way of showing that they're not cutting into the sales of the artists. Or smething.

Anything to do with Juno OST or the Rat Pack would be my fault.

Is there any way of finding out which member of the group is responsible for a track turning up?
I only ask because I appear to be listening to Curiosity Killed The Cat. And Boony's nowhere to be found.

Will Smith? What is wrong with you people! Baz. I've now realised that I've been being far too selective, which is not the way to go with randomly playing lists where you have no control. You have to do what Pops has done and shove as many songs as possible at them to avoid repetition.

When you "block" one of mine, are you blocking all of my future input, or just songs from that artist? If it's the former, please don't block me. As for Ashlee Simpson -- I can only apologise. I do only like three of her songs, admittedly that's three too many, but I've obviously overlistened to them. I like the sound of this Divot radio. People listening to songs just because I've listened to it. Everyone should copy me. Woo, go me. A quick glance suggests that Divot radio is miles better than proper radio. Nice one, fogeys.

There's some good stuff on the Divot Radio- nice to hear new nice things.
Though my block finger has been employed some, I do have to say.
Only a matter of time before I get told "gently" that I shouldn't have my headphones plugged into my PC.
Oh well.
