Where should you have them plugged then?
People at your work don't like you listening to music? How odd.

Though my block finger has been employed some, I do have to say. I'll bet a fair bit of my stuff has been blocked.

It gave me Mariah Carey and Kelly Clarkson which wasn't the best start, but then Bell Biv Devoe came on with Poison. Three minutes of New Jack Swing royalty.

Bell Biv Devoe came on with Poison. Just moved on to Poison by Alice Cooper, which is a lot different in style and nature.

And not even acceptable Nelly Furtado.
The radio thingy should say who's responsible for each track. Although that would spoil the "guess who's been listening to that" game. (mostly elth, slut, sonic and, well, Baz at the moment).
What would happen if everyone solely listened to the radio? Well there be fewer and fewer tracks until it finally wound up playing solely Bloc Party, Radiohead and Elliott Smith.

1973 Golden Earring - Radar Love. The year I started at Uni/Poly and pissed most of the time. But it's only available on a You Tube Video. What an ugly bunch they were.

My only criticism is that you should be able to add good radio tracks to your playlist from the player. Minor point, but would be nice.
Had I think three of mine in the few hours I listened this morning, which isn't bad out of 12 I suppose. And nothing truly shockingly pish. Mostly.

Still haven't heard any of mine, but then again, if I listen to the radio all the time then no-ones going to be listening to my stuff and it won't get picked up for the radio.
Had a trip down memory lane listening to snippets of Hawkwind this afternoon. There was a time about 25 years ago (gulp!) when all I listened to was Hawkwind. Obviously a lot of it was utter pish but there's some great stuff there as well, although I'm probably still biased by my spending my formative years listening almost exclusively to them.

Turned Divot Radio On for the first time. Natalie Imbruglia came on. Turned Divot Radio off.

Coward.
It's true- there is a nice angle to listening to tracks from yesteryear that you loved to death and now just see in passing.
I listened to Sleep Well Tonight by the Inspiral Carpets yesterday- what a fantastic song that is. I used to listen to that many many times a night for weeks on end.

If I press play on winamp now and leave it going, the playlist will start to repeat itself sometime on sunday afternoon. I don't need to dirty eardrums with former Australian soap stars. Well, apart from Kylie. And Dannii. And Stefan Dennis.

So narkle- does listening to your own playlist make the tracks appear on the radio, or am I misreading you?

I think the radio is based on what it's detected that people have been listening to. So that would be a yes. You can also see what people have been listening to recently which is quite fun. ish.
Of course the fact that it has picked up Baz listening to 24-odd thousands tracks doesn't bode well. Odd you should mention Kylie slut. As it would seem Basil has been indulging in an Aussie soap star extravaganza at some stage.

Oh and if you get any Sailor tracks popping up on the radio it's my fault, but I'm not apologising.

At least we'll know not to blame Boo. As I've heard he likes sailors.

Some of Fuzzy's recent plays surprised me; Roy Orbison & Nat King Cole amongst others.....
That's not a critisism by the way.

I can handle Craig McLachlan, but if there's any Dr Karl Kennedy songs a line should be drawn.

There is a muckup somewhere there- Lloyd Cole is top of my lists but I never listened to the track once, let alone three times in a row.
That kind of technical hitch could unhinge a person.
