Buster Commander Tackling, 1 Short Passes, 2 Positioning, 1 Technique, 2 Long Passes, 1 Stamina, 1
I also played my first game yesterday, although I didn't know I was going to, as I havdn't logged in since Xmas Eve. It was a friendly and for some reason I was chosen as an AMC and scored three in our 4-0 win, I got an 8/10 rating.
Yay me!
The management have signed some very good players for our team, as well as a lot of youth. I thinkI read somewhere that youth teams were in the pipeline, so it looks like we're planning for that. If I can get some experience in that area, that'll be gravy.

With a match like that under your belt, you should be in the 1st team for the next game. How can the manager leave a hat-trick hero out?

Very, very easily indeed. You should see the rest of the squad.

They've eaten too much turkey and no-one else can fit on the pitch? I feel for you Moo. A little bit mind, as I've not had any alco-pops to really become overly over-compassionate.
Stats ahoy though.

I think what we are doing is giving all yoofers and non-regulars the start to the friendlies, then subbing everyone off at about 85 mins, so that the subs get the minimum experience "points". As for league games, we're getting no games at all. We may get the easier cup games though, for instance against the third tier teams.

Right, I've now signed up, and waiting for a player. Apparently there is none in Australia. 2-3 days will tell a tale.

I was looking at the top 10 on the front page, and just about all of them were forwards. One was a MLC while another was a FR(winger?). I think you'll be there for a while developing all those stats for how you want them to be. Is there a top limit?

As far as I know 20 is the top limit, but it's really 20 and a half - you can't reach 21, but there is some worth to a couple of training days in a skill after you hit 20.
Once you hit 21 your training ability is dropped 25% and then again when you hit 22, so almost all of your skills will be in place by then. Afterwards it's only really worth doing long-term single-skill improvements, or maybe a bit of cleaning up on a skill you neglected as a kid.

I'm now :
Homer Hawkes Tackling, 2 Short Passes, 1 Positioning, 1 Technique, 1 Game Vision, 1 Speed, 1 Stamina, 2
My team have annouced that they won't be training tackling any more, so I guess I am already Titus Bramble. And I'm still at Newcastle.

Too many ribs on the training pitch after sessions? Or too much time at the pub playing Mr Doorman?

It's an "inessential skill" which we "can train on our own time."
Thank you, Kevin Keegan.

I'm a player now: Jarrin Carr. My Nick: San Son Sunic. I've joined a bot team, in Melbourne, called Sydney Park I'm currently traveling there. I've sent in orders for training, Tackling, short passing and long passing. For 7 days. I've $15000 in the bank, and am getting paid $750 a week. Should I spunk all of the $15000 on a personal trainer?

Yes. Yes you should. And then start saving the cash for the level 2 trainer.

Righto Stu. So now I have a very bad level 1 trainer He costs me $350 a month, take this from my $3000($2650) a month I'm getting, and that will mean I won't be getting a new trainer until about 10 months time :cab:

You might get lucky and join a human team with better salary. That's kinda why I went there and also (I have now been told) you get better training with a human controlled team.
