So according to that all positions are vitally important to the team.
I used to be what they call the Small Forward, although it was called something else at my school. And it would have to be a very empty court if I was the most talented player on it.

s1ut - I shall look at that in more depth tomorrow at work, gazebo permitting. In the meantime, I was pleased with this... us being 1-2 they being 3-0 beforehand. I watched the game and attempted to be involved in tactical changes, it seemed to work, flukily.

Looking at the stats, I have no idea how you won that. So well done.

According to those positions, I think I'd be a power forward.

Keep it quiet, but I'm looking forward to going home so I can play on this. That's a good sign, right? *edit* And cheers to s1ut for that info. I'll see if I can incorporate that into my recruitment tonight. I think that I need two SFs, but none are interested. I'll be able to recruit others and then just tell them they're SFs.

The RPI of 266... that's the overall points system ranking of my team. There's 335 teams in this ranking. So that's not a great rank.

It's a good thing your centres are giving it large, considering that's what they should be in the first place :checkit: That latest run looks like the end of last season. Which can't be that pleasant. Nice league table too Still, it's only your second season in the game. :thumb:

That run of results gets worse. (I played a couple of the conference games after those shots.) I might struggle to get the required 10 wins this season, I think that with our squad, we might get to 8 or 9. That might not be enough to satisfy the other condition either, of not finishing last in the table. So who knows what'll happen then?

Well, TBH, I thought it might have happened last season after being nowhere near the Top 3 finish they wanted. Maybe they'll just look at me sternly.
Is it hometime yet?

It's nearly lunchtime, Moo. Does that count?
What are you up to these days, anyway. Did you get a new job recently?

I did, hence me not being online much during the day, basically when the boss is on a tab break.

Basketball is shirley the only game where OUADTW is actually a viable formation?

One Up And Damn The Welshmen? Isn't that your arrowhead tactic? Pops' famous formation was FuaDtW, or 2-1-2-2-3, with the middle two being wide midfielders. I believe there was the 2-1-2-3-2 variation, with three guys in the hole. A position Moo's aware of, no doubt.
As far as basketball goes, I didn't know there were tactics. I just thought they all ran up and down the court (in about three strides) as each team trades baskets. Like some old marketplace, I guess. "Come and get your baskets, three for a pound."
