I don't think I've ever seen an 0/0 rated player before. Luckily that was before I changed scouts. The new guy rates him a 0/1. Coffers was right about hidden talent. There's actually a thread in FOFC about a defensive end in FOF2007 who by some fluke started for a team despite being rated 14/18 or something and getting the rookie of the year award. Anyway the AI kicked him after the first year so the person picked him up for his team and played him until he retired (and he took a looooong time to retire) and by the end of that he was rated 1/1 but still producing good results. So maybe you should play this guy after all. One of your scouts thought he was fully developed after all. How many of your players can you say that about.

The only problem with me is that it may be a waste of a licence for someone. If I buy it myself, then it means I have to play it. ![:D](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/grin.png) I've just read some reviews of EA's NFL Head Coach, which has been described as "Madden Franchise Mode on steriods - obviously beefed up with some nasty side effects." Nothing on UK eBay, unfortunately.

You could hold onto the license and then remove it should I ever decide that I need two licenses again. I believe I did something similar with Boony and ILLAPWASIFOSOSC at some stage. In fact I think he probably still has the license.

The fact that it's so hard to evaluate FOF begs the question why SpInG don't use the same distribution method. INstead of playing silly buggers with the coding. The cockknockers.

Oh I thought that if I installed your second version on my PC, then you wouldn't then be able to put it elsewhere?

That's right Moo, if you install it on your PC then no one else can use it. Until you uninstall the license (there's a process for that) which frees it up again and it can be installed elsewhere again at that point.

Right - well, in that case, it's fine. i thought once it was gone, then it's gone.
I checked the solesmic (?) website this afternoon and it looks like they're only selling the '07 version now, so the demo available is for that. Obv it wouldn't be worth me DLing that, would it?

So does this licence unlock the demo version, or do you have to download a full version of the game when you order it?

Central Florida 34 Texas Christian (44) 42
Central Florida 0 21 7 6 - 34 Texas Christian 7 0 14 21 - 42
If you'd asked me what mascot/team name a school called "Texas Christian" would have picked, I would have taken a while to get far enough down my list to hit "Horny Toad." The Toads score first but we're cruising at 28-7 until Matt Bernal runs a kick off back 95 yards and Texas then throw in another four touchdowns to score 35 unanswered points. Right at the end of the game Brandon Fisk throws his second touchdown of the day to put some gloss on the score, but our defence just can't stand up to a good team who need points in a hurry. Fisk ended the day with two passing touchdowns to one interception, 293 yards and also ran in a score. Key PerformersRushing Att Yards Avg Long TD Stufd Sackd 42 Barnes 19 103 5.4 58 1 7 0

Moo www.solecismic.com/support/index.phpAbout half of the way down there's a link to the updated version of the game or some such nonsense. I don't think it's a patch, although I have been wrong on previous occasions.

No, you were right on that one Narkle. It turned out it was my trashed hard drive that was killing the app, making me think it was looking for something to update.

Temple (49) 20 Central Florida 31Temple 7 7 0 6 - 20 Central Florida 7 10 7 7 - 31 When the school told me they'd scheduled a game for me I said "O RLY?" And it turned out I was almost right, as I'm clearly playing the "YA RLY" owl here. Fortunately, our defence can cover owls and we hold Temple under 80 yards rushing, 50% completions and throw in four sacks and two interceptions. Or our side Jorge Barnes goes through 100 yards again - I'm starting to really like this kid - and then Brandon Fisk continues to show increased maturity, hitting 18 of 25 for 255 yards, three scores and a pick. There is bad news in this game though as Senior Receiver Marco Heath blows out his knee and will miss the rest of his final season at the school. Jorge Barnes joins Heath in the Doctor's room with a sprained elbow, but he'll probably be fit in three weeks, meaning he'll be "Probable" for our next game. Suddenly two bye weeks in a row doesn't seem so stupid, eh? Key PerformersRushing Att Yards Avg Long TD Stufd Sackd 42 Barnes 18 116 6.4 28 1 4 0

Aye, with Heath gone I might have to put Dinh back in the top two positions, which is annoying as he's a killer slot receiver. I'm sorely tempted to promote the kid : ![](http://i10.tinypic.com/81sa6n8.jpg)

Nice stats, a bit of a pain that you have to use him so early and miss on a year later on, though.

Right now Ted Hanaki is playing well enough to take the third receiver role and we'll leave Belanger in the red shirt. Hanaki's a senior, so he's fully developed, but he had been red shirted before, so he has another year of eligibility left.
I'm going to swap starters at Tight End, moving from the all-rounder Gothe to the Freshman recruit I got last year - Toby Reade - because Reade is a better pass catcher.
I'm also going to convert Van "My Sharona" Bironas from Fullback to Halfback and use him as cover and support for the wounded Jorge Barnes.
Hopefully that'll pick up some of the Offensive production.

Recruiting It's fair to say the recruiting isn't going so well this year, as Florida is having a sparse year and there seem to be exactly no good Guards out there who have any interest in coming to UCF.
We're about to hit week six and I've managed to get exactly two players to come visit the school so far, with lots of people "considering", who are clearly waiting for a better offer.
I'm changing focus a bit this year too, going for players with higher Athletic Preparation even if they're a bit lower on the skill side of things, because I got caught out a bit this season by exactly how low the Freshman recruits current ratings are.

Fucksocks. :moop: Last year we took far, far too long to put these clowns away. This year we killed them, so it's all good, right? Well, not quite. In the fourth quarter, Quarterback Brandon Fisk heaves the ball 36 yards to Tight End Toby Reade for the Freshman's first career touchdown and that ripping sound will be Fisk's rotator cuff tearing. Fisk will join Marco Heath in watching the remainder of his final season at UCF from the trainer's room. When he left the field Fisk had four touchdowns on just eleven completions. Jim Joseph came in and completed four of six passes in relief. On the ground, Jorge Barnes was given a light workload to rest his shoulder carrying the ball just four times, but Cedrick Horton gained 56 yards on 12 carries and converted Fullback Van Bironas gained 69 yards, also on 12 carries. Impressive score, less than impressive injury. Ouch indeed. Can you scout for Tony Eason's son?
If you're not sure where to find him, shout "Come here, Paddington!" and then look behind the sofa.
