This atricle is gleaned from Hyphy who posted it on the SOnews.net board:
Please Note: I have been trying the method since last night, and though my putting has probably improved it isn't foolproof, I missed some putts that I would normally have hit with my own calculations, but that may have been down to the ball breaking differently on up and downhill putts.
It might be worth a run out on the putting green, which will give you a chance to make some decent NG if it works for you.
I also believe that the tests were probably done with a basic putter, so if you use something different to these these, then some adjustments may have to be made based on your own findings.

PART 1:
ok so here it is. i have figured out most of the dynamics to proper accurate putting. since everyones power and stats are slightly different, ive tested this with many different stat builds. this chart will make you at least 50% more accurate. after you write down this chart read the next section and look at the screenshots to help you develop the proper curvature.
Putting power by Distances:
1.9-3.5 yards=30%
3.6-5.0 yards=32%
5.1-6.5 yards=35%
6.6-8.0 yards=39%
8.1-9.5 yards=43%
9.6-11.5 yards=48%
11.6-12.5 yards=50%
12.6-14.0 yards=52%
14.1-15.5 yards=55%
Obviously you need to make minor adjustments based on up or down hill lies. If you are farther than 15.5 yards you need to read the hint topic about charting wedges. (not included on this article)
ok now for curve and clicks. (NOTE A click means one click on a left or right arrow key)
go to the putting green range and learn clicks. you will see by the below screenshots that once you get this down you will be nasty accurate at putts up to 20 yards.
the first one i would test is the 5 yard setting. the proper setting for this one is 2 clicks right and 30% because of elevation. it will go in at least 90% of the time. yes 90% which is 27 of 30 attempts. that is a HUGE improvement to your game. in the following screenshots i will show you the percentage of putts made out of 30 shots for each yardage interval of 5, 10, and even 20.
PART 2:
as ive tested this more i have found more useful information in SO's calculation for putting. some of you may know this but ive been teaching these new findings to many the last few days and it works without fail. if you already putt at 80% or better read no more and give us some tips.
attaining proper left right clicks to adjust for curves is now easy.
all you do is count the number of left to right or right to left lines between u and the pin pole. then if itsbetween 4.0 and 9.9 yards you divide bt 2. if its 10 or over u divide by 3. use this in conjunction w the above mentioned power chart and u will instantly be one deadly putter.
ok so what about when u have curves going both ways you ask...
simple. use the same procedure as above w a slight moderation. you count seperately the left slop and the right slope and use the same equation. then you take the dominant side and subtract the weaker side. this tells u the amount of clicks u should use towards the dominant side.
example:
you are 8.7 yards from pin on green. you have 9 lines in between you and the pole. 4 are moving left 5 are moving right. so 5/2 is 2.5 or 3 to the right. this means 4/2 is 2 moving left. the ultimate putt would be here at 1 click right(3-2) and 43%.
this works on all greens. if you notice many greens have diff amounts of sideways moving lines. this is the game trying to give u a hint on the clicks needed not speed. some lvl 60s and up tested this today for me and were totally amazed at its accuracy.
just remember to add ALL left lines together and ALL right lines together. obviously very minor fine tuning will be needed by you to adjust for elevation and such. sometimes u have 5 left 6 right and 3 more left. when doing yer math be sure to include 8 left and 6 right. u will be blown away by this new accuracy. good luck all.
--------------------------------------------
once you are comfortable with the distances go to the putting green and practice curves. usually within 3 shots you will learn how many clicks are needed. after that make about 10 in a row so you feel good about judging curves and clicks.
i hope this helps everyone. if not, well it was fun testing it. not to mention its a super easy way to make extra ng for buying drinks. i made nearly 150k NG just in the half hour it took me to put all of this together for you
