The following link seems to be a good Cadaiger Guide:
www.iissolutions.co.uk/Cadeiger_Guide.htmAlso Found on Shot-Online is teh following guide:
its kind of a hard course to describe.... ill try
Hole 1 - you can either 8/9iron onto the beginner tee and blast a 5W at the green, but thats a risky shot, or drive the big fairways and hir irons which will spin weird cos of the approach angle/vector and the height difference.
Hole 2 - hit and hope. if the spin is close to the front, try and bounce on off the fairway, at the back front of green with laods of spin.
Hole 3 - use a 3W ont the high fairway ntill you have the skill to swerve it round the right rock to the left onto the small faiorway on the right, then check your wood distances, if you can make it drive the green, anywhere will do, if not lay up onto the middle fairway that looks like a giant V, and hit into the bottom of the V where it is flattest for the easyest approach.
Hole 4- Aim as close to the end of the fairwya as possible giving you the flattest lie for an approach to a tough green.
Hole 5 - Depends where the pin is, at the back bounce before the prong of the star its on and hope to hole close to the pin on the bounce down, at the front bounce just before the flag with full backspin and pray to GM-Jesus.
Hole 6 - Drive over the gap in the wall on the left onto the little fairway with the trree ont he front edge. Then use a long iron or wood depending on wind, with 3 o'clock spin to ensure you miss the arch on fairway 2, landing a good 15 yards in front of the pin to roll up close.
Hole 7 - Will Update when i remember
Hole 8 - Same
Hole 9 - Generally a remake hole. if you have alot fo power and skill you can drive the green, but if you have to play this hole, lay up on the first fairway with a shortish iron, about a 7iron for me, on the flat bit betweent he 3 bumps at the front. Then you are in perfect distance for the 7iron with backspin shot to clear the huge rock and land somewhere on the green.
Hole 10 - Wind variable, i like to use a PW with full top, % varies as to wind, and it normally holds pretty close to where it lands. Some people use a 3Wood here at 46% to bounce ont he rought and roll it up the angled green, some use a 7iron, its trial and error till you find the shot that suits you.
Hole 11 - Definatly a remake hole. If you have to play, try a 3W with mas 3 o'clock spin to reach fairway 2, if not about 10 yards shot of the end of fairway 1 in the middle and you should reac the green with a 3iron with side spin. Wehn approaching the green try and hit the centre, and anythigt oo far to the side will roll OB downt he slopes.
Hole 12 - Longest Drive hole!!!! Depending on your level you can make this easily, it is alot of hit and hope, but you soon learn how hard your driver will carry in certain winds. If you cant make the green then try the left high fairway, if you cant reach that, then a simple iron to under the arch at the front of the low fairway will give you an easy 3iron approach.
Hole 13 - Cant remember
hole 14 - the pain of the low levellers, the joy of level55+! When you are first starting cad, a 4iron here with 3 o'clock spin is the shot. Aim for the centre of the fairway and hit it 102%, the spin will aim it more central. Obviously adjust for wind. When you have more power, select the 5Wood, use full 3o'clock spin aim it on the big lake mvoe the tab key to the right till it jumps from on the wall to on the green, slide it over a tiny bit more to allow for a misshit, then hit it as hard as you can and itll clear the arches, and drop onto or right by the green, giving you an easy birdie as this green doesnt move (much)
hole 15 - tough at first. you need to hit about a 5iron for the low levels to clear the trees at the front of the first fairway, then stop as close to them as possible. This gives you maximum distance to clear the trees at the end of the fairway and got for the green. If you cant make it, lay up intot he centre of the 2nd fairway and take the easier but difficult approach. once you get over level 60 ish, you can drive the 2nd fairway with a tornado and some spin in good winds, fromt here its easy.
hole 16 - PAr 3. I personally am a fan of using alot of backspin on this hole. The green is very bumpy but with an accurate iron approach, you can generally leave the shot within 5 yards. Select the iron thats closest, add fucll backspin, you want the ball to land about 7-10 yards in front of the pin to allow it the one bounce and stop motion, there is a few nasty slopes on this green but you are unlucky if you get a abd bounce away from the hole.
hole 17- argh, cant rememeber.
Hole 18 - ncie par 5. hit an iron into the centre of fairway 1. there are 2 steep slopes at the front, which are on the mini map as shaded slopes, aim jsut over them and its quite flat. you might think you can drive the second fairway on this hole, the driver wont clear the trees and going for it is such a bad move as the 2nd fairway isnt that flat, and you have a simple long iron approachto the green fromt he first fairway. Ont he green try and land it on the small patch of fairway before the holes, then it should bounce on and go close.
