I guess it's a good thing if you don't know who either is, and the show as well.

*bump*
Only seven days to go before the first set of predictions should be in to me.
Hornet and Narkle - I'm looking in your general directions, which is difficult, as you can appreciate.

Moo- any chance of you PMing my guesses back to me, seeing as how I've totally forgotten them all.
Apart from that one, obviously.

Excellent, well done everyone.
Now, I'll send you all a PM to tell you where to send the £100 entry fee. Used notes, no markings. Thanks.

Right, so all 12 of us have submitted predictions for the first set of group games. Does anyone have any objections to me posting these on the first page of the thread? I don't suppose anyone will. Also, I'll be updating a table on the first page showing how we're all doing. Starting on Monday.

Moo, your first post says you are still witing for predictions from me for Group stage 2a. I PM'd you all the Group stage predictions up to and including 3b on 1st of June, or haven't you updated that post yet?
Oh and no objections.

Well as you haven't been very neighbourly this week concerning those pesky Englanders, I'll post them anyway. So ner.

I have now changed the initial thread. Once the games get underway, I'll be putting a summary pic in there in front of the predictions, just to show what the overall scores are like.

So everybody has Germany to beat Costa Rica tonight? 2.25-0.58 is the average predicted score. Hornet's gone for 3-0, a proper humping...

Well like I said to Moo if it was a "proper" bet I'd put money on Germany not winning but as there's no odds you'd be a fool to go for anything other than a German win.
Moo?

6 out of 11 have Spain-Ukraine as 1-1, and 1-1 Aus-Japan.
I'm the only one who takes Japan to beat the Aussies, then?
Shows you how much I know about Team Aus more than anything I would guess.
Ianteresting stuff.

The opening game is usually a cagey affair and now the Germans are without Bollocks they could have a bit of trouble with the Ticos.
Watch out for Ronald Gomez from Rica. He has big teeth.

I hadn't seen news of Bollocks this morning... I'm waiting for the BBC's feature on the colour and consistency of Rooney's crevice fruit to finish.

Opening games are always shady. I am really looking forward to Poland-Ecuador in a way only weirdos could understand.

Bollocks hates Klinnsmann so he'll say anything to stitch him up. Who would have thought that the Germans can be interesting.
