"Drunk Belgians in Five a Side Underwear Shocker"
'Didn't really exist' claims neighbour, 98.
Ronaldo was appalling. Clearly mentally frigged as well as carrying a small Rhodesian under his golden shirt.

Ow come on, it was a short.
Try telling me in Dutch what I just told in English and if it's without mistakes I'll take a picture of me in (dirty) pants with sniggering girls in the background. Hell, I'll even have a dog on my lap! :checkit:

That's the same like me posting something in American English instead of British English and getting taunted, isn't it? Come to think of it, it's even further off.
So no, obviously. Do that and I'll post a picture of Boony in the same situation. You wouldn't want that, now would you?

Boony in ANY situation frightens me. Especially if fried food is involved.

Notice he's finishing his Joe Organ and he has one chip left on his plate and he hasn't unwrapped his cutlery yet.

I thought Poland had to win? Why were the timewasting from the outset of the second half? I never thought I'd see the day when I was pleased to see Germany score.

They needed at least a draw and then win their final group match against Costa Rica. Now as they have been beaten by Germany, they need Costa Rica to beat Ecuador, so that those two teams both have three points, then Poland have to win next Tuesday and hope Germany beat Ecuador, so that there are three teams on three points, with Goal Diff a decider, although I am not sure that it is. Can anyone confirm GD is the first deciding factor here?

Bollocks to that. They said themselves that they needed to win. With a draw they still needed Costa Rica to beat Ecuador which is a bit of a hope (I mean it could well happen but it's not something you'd want to bet your world cup survival on).
I thought internal matches counted before goal difference. It did in the Euros anyway - where Sweden's 2-2 draw with Denmark meant that Italy could have beaten Hungary 20-0 and still gone home.

I'm not sure about the head to head matches, that's why I asked. If that is the first decider, then they're knacked.

Yeah, it was a bit unfortunate for them having held out so long, but Poland got exactly what they deserved. They HAD to win that game, they can't expect bloody Costa Rica to do them any favours. As it was, Poland showed absolutely no inclination to get forward even when they had 11 men, and they've noone but themselves to blame when justice was eventually done.
Odd to be saying it, but this German side is a lot of fun to watch. And "SCHWEINSTEIGER!" is a great name to shout in a German accent. Ballack remains a whining cheating c0ck, though. I'm sick of him already and he hasn't even got to Chelsea yet.

Yes, but games against teams that aren't in the tournament don't really count, do they? But it's goal difference: The ranking of each team in each group will be determined as follows: a) greatest number of points obtained in all group matches; b) goal difference in all group matches; c) greatest number of goals scored in all group matches. If two or more teams are equal on the basis of the above three criteria, their rankings will be determined as follows: XVIII. TECHNICAL RULES FOR THE FINAL COMPETITION 41 d) greatest number of points obtained in the group matches between the teams concerned; e) goal difference resulting from the group matches between the teams concerned; f) greater number of goals scored in all group matches between the teams concerned; g) drawing of lots by the Organising Committee for the FIFA World Cup™.

Poles relied too much on Zurawski to do the business and he was diabolically bad. I felt sorry for the other "forward", Smolarek, who ran his heart out end to end.
Zurawski has been pish both games and they don't seem to have anyone else.
I really really enjoyed the game, though. Best fun of the tournament so far, I reckon. The Germans are going to be real fun to watch, though Schneider is a dick.

The guy who was supposed to be their set piece specialist was a pile of pish. The Poles uniformly wasted all their corners and decent free kick positions.
I think Germany played a lot poorer becuase Ballack was in the team. (Well and because they were playing a team with a passing acquaintance with the concept of defending, but that doesn't sound as controversial). Having Ballack in the team relegates Frings to being a glorified ballboy and means that they seem to lose a lot of balance going forward. Still it was worth it just to see him get a yellow card the flatnosed twat.
