He's been silly, it has to be said. His agent (Willie McKay, probably - he's everywhere) shouldn't have made all this public, it isn't doing his client any favours at all.
With regards to the match tonight, I don't think it will matter if he plays or not, they'll beat us.

All was fine apparently until he changed his agent to McKay a couple of weeks ago. I'm not sure who he thinks would have him. He wants Champions League football, Arsenal & Chelsea wouldn't take hime so that leaves Liverpoo and Man Ure. I can't see them wanting him either.

Liverpool don't need him, unless he's got a hidden talent for playing on the right wing. Man Utd need central midfielders...

I listened to our lot on the radio last night and Malcolm MacDonald who was co-commentating didn't hold back with his comments. I can sum up our 3-0 defeat at cITEH as "shite" of course, but SuperMac was a lot more descriptive. It tells you a lot when, in his opinion, the only one to come out of the game with any credit whatsoever was defender Peter Ramage.
nufc.com has the headline "We're going down with the mackems" which is entirely possible.

Portsmouth > Newcastle > Boro > Sunderland
If only they could relegate 6 teams this year we'd be rid of the pikey southern softies, and brummies too.

Not so sure about that DC, give credit where it's due; Portsmouth are still below Newcastle and Boro at the moment.

We play Portsmouth at home on Saturday. Thankfully I may be working so unable to hear a radio.

We've got Villa at home on Saturday, a win would move us above them, and Newcastle if they don't manage to beat Portsmouth. It's a must win game, yes another, I wonder if Boro will be capable of pulling it off, as opposed to pulling themselves off.

So you think the master tactician that is Glenn Roeder will defeat Portsmout? He'll have to, Souness was sacked at noon.

Post by DC on Feb 2, 2006 12:32:04 GMT
Arf!
Roeder isn't a bad sort as it goes, but it'll be 4-4-2 and none of this skilful bollocks neither. Notoriously unable to organise a piss-up in a brewery, but not bad at getting a team on the field in a vaguely organised shape.
Expect players in their right position. And not much more.

A big chance for an English manager to boost his credentials before taking over from Sven in a couple of years.
Sorry, what?

My mate from Wrexham sent me an e-mail with the title "HANDS OFF DENIS SMITH!"
I had to laugh.

Is he dating Denis Smith then, or does he just have his eye on him and wants you to stop chatting him up?

Moo, take comfort in that both Man Utd got humped by Blackburn and the Arse got beaten by West Ham. DC must be pretty happy right now while Elthie must be dulling an already blunt butter knife further. Chelsea going through a form slump, if only Liverpool could win a match :moop:

Sale of the window has to be Bentley, getting a hat-trick against Man Utd, after just being sold by Arsenal :humb:
Good work there Arsene.

Why would half of that list WANT to go to Newcastle? Alright, Gazza I'll grant you. And KevvyKeggy (who half the fans interviewed on MotD seemed to want... ). But aren't most of those names already at teams who're, y'know. Not battling relegation or anything? Go after Neil Warnock. You know you want him. Ah, y'will, y'will, y'will, y'will, y'will, y'will y'WILL!

Everton are on a pretty good role at the moment. The goal scored in that game was comical.
