Remember, cafes are on the fourth floor, brothels on the fifth.
I make no judgement as to which way you might mistake them.

So you need to learn the Japanese for "I'd like something hot, black and sweet please. And a muffin"

I did hear that most things out there were hands-free.

Just don't ask for something black, loose, in a bag.
In fact, stick to "have yous any fanny or nae?" to avoid confusion.

Pops in Japan reminds me of this.
Except Pops doesn't have that accent.

Usual sick fucks on the BBC regarding the shooting in Denver theatre;
1044: Jenn, Denver emails: Aurora is known to have a very high crime rate and to be honest, as unfortunate as the circumstances, this is not that surprising for the area.
What kind of event is required for Jenn to be shocked about in Aurora? Or is she just so desensitised as Aurora is a hotspot of mass murder?

I think if you live in Syria, you get to say mass killings are "not that surprising".
Everywhere else, I think you can be a bit surprised.

Can I have your job Pops? Japan is great! Make sure you get a J-pass to cover your whole stay. Even better if work pays for it I still miss the food.

I forgot to mention that Sid Waddell, of Darts commentary fame, dies at the weekend after a long stint against the big C.
There's only one word for that, Sid... "magic darts".

I'm assuming he's going to have a heck of a send off because a couple of the pubs in St Helens announced a period of mourning in response to the news.
When Ray French croaks you can expect such an outpouring of grief from the north that the south could bottle our tears and market it to the French as cologne.

Just noticed that we have 40+ guests on the boards at the moment. Looking at the IP addresses, they're mostly googlebots. I wonder if they've been drawn to mention of NAKED PICTURES OF KYLIE MINOGUE

At one point yesterday there were more than 120 guests on at once.
If they're all robots then clearly Google is planning to take over the world.
