I've no idea if anyone here really likes the X&O strategy stuff in Nuffleball, but I ran into the "West Coast Installation" video for the 1988 Cincinnati Bengals - it's an hour of fairly rudimentary play description with chalkboard and video of the 87 season that the players would take into their off-season break to get a headstart on what was going to be run in the 88 season. From 87 to 88 the Bengals improved from 4-11 (strike shortened season) to 12-4, the number one ranked offence for points and total yards and one Joe Montana drive, (and one working leg for Tim Krumrie), away from a Superbowl win. vimeo.com/28886634I really enjoy watching the "All 22" clips from the games on NFL Rewind - the view that the coaches use to break down film - but the grainy video here is even better because you know the exact play called so you can watch certain elements that were just described to you to see how they work. This works especially well on "Option" routes were the receiver makes a choice on route based on coverage and suddenly you can see what he ran and usually why.
