Allow me to translate:
Iberic cold meats Boiled prawns Fried cheese cubes Mini Brochetta of cod drippings and king prawns Fried puntillitas (a kind of tiny squid, about the size of an olive)
Partridge salad
Main course, choose one:
Roasted rice with king prawns White Sea Bass in almond sauce and vegetables Brochetta of Iberian pork sirloin
Plus a cake, and all that Boony can drink.
£25-30 a head. It's quite an expensive place, whatwith the seaside and all that.

Not a huge seafood fan, but that is mouth-watering. Is it prawns or langostines? I love prawns, but love langostines more. There isn't much of a langostine trade here, as they are all caught in Scottish waters and then exported instantly to Spain.
Nicest shellfish of all? Squat lobster, no peer.

Cod Drippings? Sounds interesting, could that be cod flakes?
I think I'd go with the partridge salad, it's a toss up between the Sea Bass and pork.

Prawns are smaller and tastier, langostinos or king prawns are bigger and come in several varieties, such as tiger langostinos which have orange stripes (no kidding, in case you don't know them over there).
Drippings is a poor translation. It's meatballs only made of cod instead of meat, it's just that "cod balls" made me think of Boony.

Ah Cod Balls, we have them two, in beer batter, sometimes called cod nuggets.
Oh and yes we have tiger prawns, more grey and black stripes than orange from what I recall.

Nuggets, a much better word.
The stries are grey and black when the prawn is still raw; when cooked, they turn bright orange - specially if they are leftover from the previous meal. They go orangier as they age, which is a good way to know when to empty the fridge after Christmas.

I've been trying to get a picture of my eye, but can't get a good one. So here's what I have... Note on the second pic, the shape at the front. That's similar to mine. At the moment, with the drops in, my iris is nothing but a thin blue circle, the pupil is huge, then there's the milky fluid there. It looks like my eye has reversed. It's quite off-putting.

Cheers, Pops. It's one of the South Park plush toys. If I ever get a tattoo, it'll be one of those.

In very much related news, I was back at the hospital this morning and that silly cloud thing has gone now and I now don't have to have any more steroid drops. Which is nice.
However, they want me to go back in three or four months time and discuss whether or not my stupid lens is still wearable, comfortable, and of the right prescription and if not, then they're going to recommend putting me on the transplant list.
Joy. :moop:

Noted and on the list. I might try and get x-ray vision too. I'm sure Fruits must have invented that by now.
