No, it's The Ranconteurs I want - Jack White's "new" band. Pity, I've heard one track by them and quite liked it. I wouldn't mond listening to some more. Avoid "Together." *cringe* 'Least, I think it's called that. Soooooo, what's everyones favourite Elliott Smith song?

I find it strange that it plays Harry Chapin's "Cat's in The Cradle" from the Shrek III soundtrack album rather than one of his own albums.

You might find The Sabateurs, but they still don't have any tunes registered against them that you can play, nor is there a description of who they are if I recall correctly from my search in a late online session last night.

How is it that Hornet's playlist has a famous Swedish artist covering a popular (in Sweden)song by a famous (in Sweden) Swedish group which a) is great, and b) I haven't heard before.
Answer me that one. If you can.

Ooh, er, 'ark at 'er. Catchy tune, dc Rest of their stuff so far has been kind of 'meh' on the side of Polyphonic Spree with synths. But, just like Polyphonic Spree, when they get it right they produce extremely catchy tunage.

You don't watch enough telly, Nark. Sony used it in an advert a few months ago, which was where I heard it. And then tracked down the original. Which is equally excellent, in a completely different way.
Talking of obscure bands from obscure regions, I'm sure I can find a way of getting the Pride Of Stevenage's opus to you. I think the .mp3 I've got is about 5 meg or so - would your email accept that as an attachment?

Is that Swedish group, The Knife? Heartbeats is a top song. In fact, I like a bit of there stuff having heard a lot. The remixes of their songs, mostly, are better than there originals too.

The version that turned up on my ipod that combines The Knife's version with Jose Gonzalezezezez's is pretty amazing.

Robyn singing "Cobrastyle" by Teddybears Stockholm.
So no.
I continue to be vaguely bemused by The Knife's success.

Ah! Sorry, that's me misunderstanding, then. Yeah, C4 had a half-hour documentary-thing on Robyn that I happened to catch in passing a few weeks ago which had a really ace live version of Cobrastyle.
Emails away by the way, Nark. Assuming the mail in your profile is your real one.
