Blob II is due on 21st Sep. Those of you who know the slightest things about such things will know that that means he/she/it can plop out any time in the next month.
Good time to redo the bathroom, kitchen and BlobIIRoom then. I say.

Yup any time now and another handbag carrier will enter the world. Wow.
Why exactly are you decorating? Surely, you have enough to be coping with in gazebo. I'm guessing there's a fat woman sitting on her arse watching daytime TV that could do with some exercise. Cuh! Wimmin!

15 day Blobdown, then. Sweet. Despite concerted efforts from many angles, four is not happening. I have been forbad to talk of it more, forsooth.
Ah well. Probably a silly idea, anyway.

Only a few more and you'll be able to invade the mainland, Pops.
A few homemade halberds and you can a live version of M:TW

Mrs Nark wants a bathtub and because Sweden closes down for 2 months over summer now is really the first opportunity to get one in. Getting a bath tub means we need different cabinets. Getting different cabinets means we have to repaint the bathroom.
The kitchen redo is actually a bit of an exageration (I hope). We need a new over and hob - but there's the worrying possibility that that will require a redoing of the work surfaces. Which would be a might pain in the arse.
BlobIIRoom needs doing up because it's in a shocking state. Luckily Mrs Nark has seen sense and agreed that we can chuck some money at someone else to do it for us.
All in all an expensive month in the Narkle household.

A man of wise words there.
Well, good luck anyway with the housey activities, pseudo-boy, hopefully all will be glued together by the time Blob II pops out.

Oh and in a semi-related matter, Nic wants another two children. And to get married. When asked which is the priority, I get the inevitable response of "Both". And she means it.

Shouldn't that be "all three"?
Anyway. Alberto was born on September 22nd, so aim for that.

I think the two extra children count as one item, Meej. We're strange like that in the North of England.

Yeah, I've heard similar from further North.
We gave some thought to the notion of a backup copy in case Alba becomes a fan of Britney Spears or somesuch, but apparently sex was involved so it was a no-no. It's back to good ole cell division for us, thank you very much. If it was good enough for the Cybermen, it's good enough for us.

Cell-division. Didn't they used to sing songs before turning into New Order? "Mitosis Will tear Us Apart"?

I'd be happy with a woman who thought she was a cyberman. Firstly there's the cell division thing and secondly, she'd be allergic to gold.

Moo, was she planning on telling her body that the next set of blobs has to be twins or else? That would satisfy your both at once criterias.
Narkle, I was helping my friend who had a blob recently too. His was a month premature, and we were helping him get what he had planned to have done in a month done in about a week. That was fun. I'd make sure you get rid of the paint smell from blobII's room before home he/she is.

6 months should be enough for the paint smell to disappear. Especially as the paint doesn't really smell very much.

The due date is tomorrow. I have to say I'd forgotten how nerve-wracking it is waiting around knowing that things could kick off any time day or night. But that there might still be days or a week to go. Bleh!

In better news we have done up the bathroom and BlobIIroom and they both look pretty groovy if I do say so myself. Still waiting for the electrician to come and plug in the oven mind but you can't have everything. I'm told.

but you can't have everything. I'm told. Who told you that? They're telling porkies. I'm told if you shout loud enough and make a general nuisance of yourself you can get everything. :humb:
