This thread will be used to post advice about what clubs are the best to buy and use. It will be an amalgamation of advice gleaned from other sites and my own experiences. I will add any advice offered by others that is deemed useful.
Club headers in red mean Coffers has one and can comment from personal experience.
If you want me to add your own experiences regarding certain clubs, please PM me with the details. Include the club stats and costs and availability too, so that I don't have to go hunting for them at Salvador. Also please indicate if they are character specific.

Hurricane Driver (repair and nonrepair) (Lvl = any; Available only from Lucky Boxes or private trade in square [cost about 30M NG for repairable without fitting Tickets]: Stat modifiers are added by Impact Tickets) Advisor first got a NR driver from someone in game for a decent price because I wanted to try it out. Worst case was I sell it again and count what I lost as a learning experience. I tried the NR and decided I had to get a Repairable version. I got this on Saturday in the red server that was fitted and cost a pretty penny. That being said, this is my driver of choice for Abel, Cad, Rufus and Forneus. I love the loft on this club. Plus it is fitted +4 power +2 impact and it hits as far as my Arelos Spinel which is +9 power + 1 impact. But it is far better in the wind and is much more forgiving if i miss 0 (i do often). It costs 3750 per hit to repair, so I only use it on the decent money making courses. Coffers comment: I have used NR hurricanes and it is damned hard to shank a shot with them. If you can find one cheap then they are a nice club for anyone having difficulty hitting the fairways. Even Moo can hit a straight shot with one.
HYBRID NR (Lvl = any; Available only from Lucky Boxes or private trade in square [cost about 35-40M NG for the full 4000 shots] Very close to being the best driver in the game bar none. It has excellent height and distance and possibly only the Tornado driver can hit longer. However this club has superb accuracy, it has teh slow bar of the Tempest and the large club head of teh Hurricane, so not only does it hit a decent distance, it is easy to control the power and also the accuracy of the club. This driver can only be acquired in lucky boxes, or in the square for NG. Coffers comment: I have one of these and it is an truely excellent club but due to the expense of replacing it I only use it in Competitions and tests. Note a clean new NR club comes with 4000 shots available on it.
TORNADO (Lvl = any; Available only from Lucky Boxes or private trade in square [cost about 80M+ NG for repairables without fitting Tickets]: Stat modifiers are added by Fitting Tickets) This is the best driver in the game bar none. It has excellent height and distance. It is roughly 10 yards longer than its nearest competition. This driver can only be acquired in lucky boxes, or in the square for NG.
Spinel Driver (Lvl = any; Available in Mall or private trade in square [cost about 3.1M NG without fitting Tickets]: Stat modifiers are +6 Power +1 Impact) One advisor absolutely loves this item. It was a bit squirly at first when I would miss-hit. But as my stats got up, this became so much easier to control and allows me to go over quite a few sand dunes on Rufus that I cant get over with Touramline driver. This driver is basically the same as the emerald. It has the same distance w/ just a hair less control. This can also be bought at the item mall or in the square for NG. Coffers comment: As with all Aeolos divers it is recommended that you fit Impact tickets for better control. I bought one of these when I was around level 45, it came with 1 Impact ticket fitted, and I love it, it hits futher than the Emerald though it does swoop very low in a big tail wind. I find it easily managable at my level with Imact 8 points higher than Power. Note: Fitting impact tickets works better than raising character attributes.
Emerald Driver (Lvl = any; Available in Mall or private trade in square [cost about 3.1M NG without fitting Tickets]: Stat modifiers are +5 Power +2 Impact) I am still getting used to this driver on my Albus char (lvl 39). It seemed to be a horrible driver to me at first. I almost got a different driver a few times. That was until I got over the ant hill dune on hole 16 of Rufus in 1 shot using it. This driver will REALLY dip when you have tail winds of 5+ m/s. But which driver won’t really? In the authors opinion, this is the second best driver in the game, and is great for beginners. It has the same distance as the tourmaline and spinel, but has better control and slightly more height. It is about 10 yards shorter than the tornado, and in big tail winds it will dip down very low (which is not good). You can buy this at the item mall, or in the square for NG. Coffers comment: I have one and found it difficult to control at first but with 10 difference between impact and power plus an impact fitting it is more manageable at Level 28. There are some holes on Gladheim (hole 17 IIRC), Sosori and Alfheim where I have found it will not clear trees, so be careful how you use it on some of the doglegs. Highy recommend at least 1 fitting to Impact, 2 fittings would be better. Note: Fitting impact works better than raising character attributes.
Werdandi Driver (Lvl = 21+; Available in Mall or private trade in square [cost about 5M NG without fitting Tickets]: Stat modifiers are +2 all stats, has a slow swing bar) I really didnt like this club. The bar was far too slow for the advisor. Not only that, if you went over 100 and missed 0 you would get bad results. I miss far too often to deal with this club. It lasted all of 2 full 18 holes before being given away at a HUGE discount. Has about the same distance as the tempest driver w/ a slow bar and less height.
Tempest Driver (Lvl = any; Available from Lucky Boxes or private trade in square [cost about 4M NG without fitting Tickets for teh repairable version]: Stat modifiers: Not Known) Claimed it is not liked as this Driver is like the Werdandi. It is really slow and it is fairly unforgiving to those who like to get a little extra out of their clubs from time to time (100% +). I would not recommend using this driver. The bar is slow and it has good height, but you sacrifice a lot of distance. This driver is roughly 5 yards shorter than the Emerald and friends. Also the repairable version of this driver costs 20000 NG per hit. You can only get this driver in lucky boxes or for NG in the square.
Tourmaline Driver (Lvl = any; Available in Mall or private trade in square [cost about 4M NG without fitting Tickets]: Stat modifiers are +7 Power) This is definitely the wrong club for beginners. If you want to go power hungry so you can show off your distance this is a nice start. But you will pay for it on some holes. This is one of the most popular drivers, but some believe it to be over rated. People see the power stat and assume it is better, which is not true. This driver can be tough to control for lower lvls, and also flies lower than the spinel or emerald with the same distance. This driver can also be bought in the item mall or for NG. Coffers comment: As with all Aeolos divers it is recommended that you fit Impact tickets for better control.
Antique (Lvl = 21+; Available in Mall or private trade in square [cost about 3M NG without fitting Tickets]: Stat modifiers are +8 Power) This driver is bad for any lvl. It flies extremely low, and is very tough to control. I am lvl 83 and tried this driver recently for fun and it was horrible. I have not tried it or the antique II version, but I can't imagine it being much better.
Peacock (Lvl = any; Available in Mall or private trade in square [cost about 1.7M NG without fitting Tickets]: Stat modifiers are +4 Power +2 Impact) This driver is very basic, and only a slight upgrade over the default driver. This driver is easy to control, but would only recommend using it below lvl 21. You can buy this from the item mall
Sirene Buff (Lvl = 27+; Available from Salvador in the Square [cost about 300K NG]: Stat modifiers are +3 Power +2 Impact) Probably the first driver you would buy from Salvatore in the square, if you cannot afford any Mall Bought drivers. Believed to be a decent enough club, but you will need to boost impact a fair few notches above power to use consistantly well.

Hurricane (Lvl = any; Available in Boxes or private trade in square [cost N/K guessing at around 28M NG each without fitting tickets for Repairable versions]: Stat modifiers none without fitting tickets) Coffers comment: Need input but I own a Repairable 3W (300 shot) expensive to repair 20,000NG per hit, I've tried it on one hole and it seems to hit as well my Antique 3W and is fairly forgiving. One for the more lucrative rounds I think.
Tornado (Lvl = any; Available in Boxes or private trade in square [cost around 40M NG each without fitting tickets for Repairable versions]: Stat modifiers none without fitting tickets) I got this item from a lucky box. I used it for 25 of the shots and then promptly sold it and was completely happy with the antique 5W. I can see the benefit of the Tornado series because this 5W SOARED really high. I could imagine getting over almost anything with this 5W. Now I did sell this club before playing cad's so my opinion might have changed later. I just didn’t give this club enough of a try honestly. The longest and highest woods in the game.
Tempest (Lvl = any; Available in Boxes or private trade in square [cost about 4M NG each without fitting Tickets for Repairable versions]: Stat modifiers: none without fitting tickets) These woods are also very good. The are about 3 yrds shorter than the tornados, but they have a very slow swing meter which can come in handy. Another pro for these woods is that they have 8 fitting slots instead of 5 on the tornados.
LvL 59 These woods are as long as the tempest woods, and maybe a bit higher. The biggest problem w/ these woods is that you need 19 stamina to use them.
LvL 57 These woods are not particularly good. They are pretty short in comparison to the woods listed above, and you need 63 power to use them.
LvL 51 These woods are a good step up from the antique woods. They go roughly 12 yards longer, which makes a big difference on some cad and abel holes.
Antique Woods (Lvl = 21+; Available in Mall or private trade in square [cost about 2.5M NG each without fitting Tickets]: Stat modifiers are +5 Power +3 Impact & +2 Stamina for 3W same for 5W but no Stamina mod) I am IN LOVE with these clubs. I really don’t think I will switch anytime soon. My main just got 44 and the semi-tag and I might take a look at the other woods once I get the level but for anyone 21-51 these are the woods to get. These woods are very good until you get to lvl 51. They are almost 15 yrds longer then the peacock woods, and are very easy to control.
Peacock Woods (Lvl = any; Available in Mall or private trade in square [cost about 1.5M NG without fitting Tickets]: Stat modifiers are +6 Power +2 Impact for 3W and +5 Power +2 Impact for 5W) Not bad at first, but once I got the Antique, I realized just what I was missing. Thankfully I didn’t get Peacock's for both chars I have before realizing this mistake. These are a good step up from the default clubs, but they do not compare well w/ the antiques. You should only use these if you cant get your hands on the antiques / tempests / tornados.
Werdandi Woods (Lvl = +21; Available in Mall or private trade in square [cost about 4.5M NG for 3W, 4.2M NG for 5W without fitting Tickets]: Stat modifiers are +2 all stats and slow swing bar) Good for the inaccurate shooter but really needs power fittings to be a jewel. The bar is slow. I mean slow. I start a shot, go cook dinner, come back and hit the upswing. Go eat dinner then hit the back swing. You get the idea. The distance is about 40y's under the antique 3w. If you need precise shots it's a keeper. If you want long distance hit the antiques.
Sirene Buff The sirene buff compare well to the peacocks, except you need 12 stamina to use them.
*Note: I would not buy any woods from Salvador other then the 51, 57, or 59 clubs. As I said earlier you are better off saving your money to buy better clubs.

Tempest (Lvl = any; Available in lucky boxes or private trade in square [cost around 25M NG each without fitting tickets for Repairables]: Stat modifiers none known) The very slow bar on these is great for 1 click tournaments. They also have good distance (only a couple yards behind the tornados), and have 8 fitting slots instead of 5. The major con to these irons is that if you use the repairable version it costs you 25000 ng per shot. These irons can only be acquired in lucky boxes, or by trading in the square.
Tornados (Lvl = any; Available in lucky boxes or private trade in square [cost around 30M NG each without fitting tickets for Repairables]: Stat modifiers none known) These irons are also very good. The bar speed is normal, but you gain about 2-3 yards over the tempest irons. These irons only have 5 spots for fitting tickets, and the repairable version costs about 12000 NG per shot. You can only get these from lucky boxes or by trading in the square.
LvL 59 These are the best in game (buy from Salvador) clubs. They have excellent distance and height. With proper stats these clubs are in between the tornados and tempests distance wise. The only drawback to these clubs is that you are required to have 21 stamina to use them.
LvL 57 I am not a fan of these clubs, but some people like them. They are pretty short distance wise, and don’t seem to go as high as the clubs listed above them. A major drawback is that you are required to have 65 power to use them. If you set your power to 65 at lvl 57 you will be severely lacking in impact which will effect your distance and accuracy. You can buy these from Salvador in the square.
LvL 51 These clubs are a good step up from the antique clubs. They will go about 10 yards longer, and you can buy them from Salvador in the square. The only problem w/ these clubs is they seem a bit sensitive if you miss 0. You can counteract this somewhat by setting your impact at least 7 higher than power. These clubs also have stat requirements, but by the time you get to this lvl you should have the requirements easy.
Antique Irons (Lvl = 21+; Available in Mall or private trade in square [cost around 6M NG each without fitting tickets]: Stat modifiers +3 Power +7 Impact) These are a set of clubs that I really don’t anticipate changing. These clubs are absolutely the best from 21-51 without question, that is unless you want to spend tons of the Tempest Irons. These clubs are excellent if you don’t want to buy lucky boxes and try your luck. They go about 15 yards more than the peacock irons, and you can use the antiques from lvl 21 to whenever you want. I have seen some players in the 70s and 80s still using them occasionally. You can buy these straight from the item mall or trading w/ others in the square. Fast bar speed and takes some getting used to. The impact helps though and its hard to really mess up a shot. It's just harder to get a nice shot. For a new player I think I would prefer a slower bar speed. Coffers comment: I really like these irons and doublt I will be changing to anything else for a long time ot come.
Peacock Irons (Lvl = any; Available in Mall or private trade in square [cost around 3M NG each without fitting tickets]: Stat modifiers +4 Impact +2 Skill) Don’t even waste your time with these. They are a step up from the beginner clubs, but you would be better off waiting till you get to 21 and picking up the antiques. In my opinion these clubs are a waste of money. They do not really go further than the default clubs and they don’t have much stopping power. You are better off playing w/ default clubs till you get to lvl 21 then switch to antiques.
Werdandi Irons (Lvl = 21+; Available in Mall or private trade in square [cost around 5.3M NG each without fitting tickets]: Stat modifiers +2 all stats slower swing bar) The distince is 15y's or so below antiques with a slightly slower bar speed. They fly a little lower then antiques meaning at low levels (low 20's) they don't stop well on the green. They seemed to handle misses well and hardly produced any backspin on normal shots. Good clubs to learn the rolling approach to the cup. Bad if you rely on "sticking" the ball by the hole.
*Note: As stated earlier I never hit the urd or werd irons, but from what I hear, the urds are like peacocks w/ a slower bar, and the werdandi irons are inbetween antiques and peacocks w/ a slower bar. **Note: You can buy other clubs from Salvador, but I would not recommend it. Most of the irons from Salvador take away impact (which is bad). You are better off saving up all your money and buying something nice.

Peacock Wedges (Lvl = any; Available in Mall or private trade in square [cost around 900k NG each for AW & PW and 2.5M NG for the SW without fitting tickets]: Stat modifiers PW: 4 impact and 4 skill, AW: 4 impact and 4 skill, SW slower bar in sand, 4 impact and 2 skill) WOW, I am glad I picked these after reading up on them. I can say with absolute certainty I will not be changing wedges ANYTIME soon. I tested out a friend’s Nado SW and wasn’t impressed. I gave it back after 1 hole of 18 and went back to the peacocks. I have no problem getting the peacock's to stick with 18 skill. I love these clubs, especially in the sand... now there is a huge plus for these clubs. Many high lvls still use this set of wedges because they get used to them and have been using them for many many lvls. The SW in this set also has a slow bar which is a must for Rufus. Great for short chips by the green and outstanding out of the green sand bunkers. Easily controlled and hard to mess up a shot. Very easy to get to know for newer players.
Tempest (Lvl = any; Available in Boxes or private trade in square [cost around 10M NG each for AW & PW and 12M NG for the SW without fitting tickets]: Stat modifiers none known) It would be hard to argue that these are not the best. They are the longest wedges, the swing bar is verrrrrry slow on all 3 wedges making them very accurate. Most importantly, the SW meter is slow in the sand.
Werdandi (Lvl = 21+; Available in Mall or private trade in square [cost around 5M NG each for AW & PW and 7M NG for the SW without fitting tickets]: Stat modifiers: +2 all stats and slower bar) I have not tried these personally, but I hear they are good. All 3 wedges have a slow bar, and the SW is slow in the sand. Coffers Comment[/i]: I recently aquired a Werdandi SW and I realy like the slow bar. Not only does it help the bunker shots but it has improved my short range (up to 30% power) shots no end. having time to get thet 3rd click nailed in the white band is an enormous plus. I've now added fitting tickets to my SW to give me the same stats that the Peacock SW had for Impact and Skill. It would take something special to get me to part with this now.
Urd (Lvl = any; Available in Mall or private trade in square [cost around 2M NG each for AW & PW and 4M NG for the SW without fitting tickets]: Stat modifiers: +1 all stats and slower bar) These are about the same as Peacock, but less durability, and slightly shorter distance. Plus I think they are very ugly looking! WizardHawk: The reason some feel the Urd SW is the best around is for the same reason some of the top pros still use the beginner putter: Shorter range means less deviation if you miss your mark by a little. The Urd doesn't go as far as the higher wedges, but you have a higher margin for error and still leave a very short putt. It is all a matter of preference, but I know a few top players who insist on using the Urd wedges and I have nothing bad to say about mine.
Elgenubis (Level: 21 Availability: Salvador: Cost: ?k each, Durability ?: Stat Modifiers: IIRC -5 Power +5 Skill SW has slow swing in Bunkers) These are the first clubs you should buy from Salvador. The SW has a slow bar in the sand which is great because you will be getting ready to begin your rufus adventures. Coffers comment: I bought these in the mall as soon as I hit Level 21 and found them to be very good, two days after buying them I chipped 3 Eagles from the fair ways and bunkers in one round. I'm now using Peacocks though and sold mine back to Salvador.
Ashes Blond Caim (pw/aw/sw): Level 27 (Level: 27 Availability: Salvador: Cost: 220k each, Durability 620: Stat Modifiers: PW -4 Power +2 Impact, -3 Stam, +5 Skilll, AW: -2 Power +2 Impact, -5 Stam, +5 Skilll, SW: -2 Power 0 Impact, -3 Stam, +5 Skilll, SW decreases speed bar in the bunker. More accurate then the basic with roughly the same distance. They are a little faster in the sand then the basics and produce a little less roll. Also has a slightly slower bar. Not bad clubs and you really don't notice the -4power on them. Not worth breaking the bank by any means. Masterchip an SO forum mod rates these Square bought clubs.
Odin Orange (pw/aw/sw): Level 39 (Level: 39 Availability: Salvador: Cost: 320k each, Durability 900: Stat Modifiers: PW -2 Power +2 Impact, -5 Stam, +7 Skilll, AW: 0 Power +2 Impact, -7 Stam, +7 Skilll, SW: 0 Power +2 Impact, -6 Stam, +6 Skilll, SW decreases speed bar in the bunker. Masterchip an SO forum mod rates these Square bought clubs as next to be bought after the level 27's.
Level 53 (Availability: Salvador: Stat Modifiers: +5 Stamina) Some feel they are the best in the game... the level 53 wedges give you +5 stamina and which means that this helps out a huge amount in the rough. For the most part, they cut right through rough as though you were on the fairway.
Note: People also use the 59, 57, 51, tornado wedges, and even some others. The problem with these sets is that the SW meter is not slow in the sand which makes it very tough on rufus.

Werdandi Putter (Lvl = 21+; Available in Mall or private trade in square [cost around 3.7M NG without fitting tickets]: Stat modifiers +2 all stats and slow swing bar) The bar was just too slow for me. I found myself clicking too soon far to many times. It seemed to break when it wanted to and didn’t other times. This is the putter I am currently using. It has the same distance as any semi or amateur putter, but the swing meter is very slow which makes it easy to hit where you want.
Urd (Lvl = any; Available in Mall or private trade in square [cost around 2NG without fitting tickets]: Stat modifiers +1 all stats and slow swing bar) This putter is same as werdandi except that it is a beginner putter which means you cant putt as far. If you are using a lvl 21 or higher putter I would not recommend switching to this one, but if you are still using beginner putter then I would give it a go.
Tempest (Lvl = any, Available in Boxes or private trade in square [cost around 10NG without fitting tickets]: Stat modifiers none known) This putter is also nice, but I think it is very bulky looking. It has the same distance and bar speed as werdandi. If you use the repairable version it will cost you 20000 NG per putt which is ridiculous.
Basic Putter So far the 2nd best putter I have had. I really liked this putter, with the exception of when on the greens edge and fairway.
Algenib Putter (Lvl = 30+ or any if mall bought; Available at Salvador, in Mall or by private trade in square [cost around 1M NG without fitting tickets if buying the mall bought version in the square]: Stat modifiers: slow swing bar) I may be 1 of the few players using this club, but I LOVE this putter. It eats up the break on a consistent basis. It is very slow on the greens edge and fairway. This is a huge plus for me. I can get really close even when i have to putt myself 20+ yards with this putter. It is really predictable. Coffers comment: I took a bit of getting used to after the Basic putter but I'm starting to get the hang of it now. It needs a little less power on the hit than the Basic but I Have holed out from the green edge, numerous times with the help of the slow swingbar on fairway and Green edge which adds an extra 1000 NG to your hole payout.
Jade Putter (Semi/Amateur/Beginner) (Lvl = Versions for Beginner, Amateur and Semi-Pro availabel; Available in Mall or private trade in square [cost around 4M NG without fitting tickets]: Stat modifiers +2 Stamina) I have been trying this putter out for the last week. I am going to give it another week before reselling it. I just don’t like the way this shoots off the putter. It can really move at even 25-30% power where the Algenib is more constant at 30-35%. If you are used to using clicks on the green and such this might not be a bad putter. But I have a feeling it isnt the putter of choice for me. Looks like I will probably be going back to Algenib. I think these putters look nice, and the major pro w/ them is that repair cost is totally free. There are 3 versions of these putters, a beginner one, amateur one, and semi pro one. I can not tell any difference between amateur and semi one.
Fauna putter (Lvl =any; Available in Mall or private trade in square [cost around 1.5M NG without fitting tickets]: Stat modifiers +2 Stamina) I really don't know how to describe it. It has more power then basics but I find myself making much more accurate shots with it. The 10y's and under are closer together so maybe thats the difference. Hard to say but I like it. Maybe it's just good luck?
LvL 44 Aludra I like this putter as well because when you are off the green, the putt meter is slow (exactly how it is on the green). With all the other putters, if you try to putt from the FW and such, your meter will fly.
