<<<<This Post will be expanded as more Guidelines are thought of or deemed necessary.>>>>
The suggestions in here aren't all hard and fast rules but should be used as a guide on of conducting your GloF sessions in a manner befitting the Guild.
Overall the Guild is all about a group of like minded people playing the game for fun, where possible we will try to get together and play together to help our own and Guild progress, but we don't insist that you only play against other Guild Members, nor do we insist on the use of Experience & NG enhancement items.
The Guild will not be providing members with clubs or NG from a Guild Locker. If you want freebies then this is the wrong place for you. That doesn't mean that Guild Members won't offer advice or even give items to other members, but that is down to personal choice and/or trust if it's a loan.
If individual members wish to put items in a guild locker then it is again personnal choice, but members should be aware that other Guilds have suffered losses in doing this when rogue members have taken items and money and not returned them.
If we do have hard and fast rules then the following are they:
1. Thou Shalt Not Be A Quitter:
Quitters seem to be one of the most hated species in the game. It is not only discourteous to quit from a round without good reason, but it also means that the remaining players end up playing the rest of the round for less NG and experience than they expected. Another side effect of quitting is that sometines the round locks up completely and the only way to unfreeze it is for another player to quit. If you are having a bad game, just get your head down and plough on, you can learn valuable lessons from your own mistakes. Quitting can giive the Guild a bad name, so please do not do it.
Note: quitting is permitted if other players are abusing you. Take screenshots which can be used as evidence.
2. Thou Shalt Explain Disconnects
If disconnected, re-enter game ASAP to explain what happened or send a message via other guild member to players in the room.
3. Thou Shalt Not Abuse Other Players:
This is self explanitory really. If you know each other and it's part of known Divot banter then fine, but don't expect other players to understand. Sceenshots of abuse can be sent to ShotOnline, so complaints will be investigated and the guilty will be banned.
4. Thou Shalt Not Beg:
Please don't beg other members or players for NG or other items, it's demeaning and refusal may cause offense.
5. Thou Shalt Have Fun:
Why else would you be playing?
6. Thou Shalt Return Borrowed Items:
The Guild now has a small library of items which are available on loan to trusted Guild members. Do not abuse the library and return all repairable borrowed items to their owners in fully repaired condition.
