What the hell are you all on about? The table is fine.
Unless Coffs has broken it by winning.

Woooooefully wrong on that one. Probably along with most of the planet.
Best game so far by a country mile. Some lovely moves.

Your kidding. 3-0 to the orang-utangs? Wow.
I think I picked 1-1 for the Romanian/France game.
Stu, can I have that toad back please. I need's me to lick it some more to gets some right picks for prediciton's. Ta.

Ok. Maybe I didn't pick that score and it might be a wise decision by Stu to keep the Froggie. Bloody Italian's and Frenchies not playing out a 1-1 draw and the Frenchies not putting 3 past the Romanian's to their 1. Grr :moop:
I think I'll have lunch now.

Tres points for the 0-0. Huzzah!
Stupid referee blew my chances of getting a 0-0 double though. Although some other Swedish referees agreed with the decision, I don't think I'd say that Panucci being knocked out by his own goalkeeper constitutes "trying to play someone offside by leaving the pitch". Although he was pretty slow coming back in.

Fuzzy - you had submitted them. You need to submit predictions for Game 2 for groups A, B and C though. And thanks for the Phase 3 games. That's you sorted till the Quarter finals now.
Some of the rest of you haven't given me predictions for tomorrow games though. Get a move on.
As of 9:30PM (BST), those who need to PM me are:

I've sent a PM Moo.
I'm with Coffers with regards to my score tipping. Now if these were cows, I think I'd be performing much better.

Bah! Curse Zlatan Ibrahimovic and his scoring for the first time in 3 years ways. My 0-0 was looking sweet up till then.
IN a side note, just how defensively does a team have to play to make Sweden look like an incisive, attacking team? In a way I guess it's lucky Greece were playing Sweden, probably one of the few international teams around who wouldn't feel like they have to press high up to stop the Greeks passing the ball along their backline for 5 minutes on end. Shame Greece aren't playing Spaia next so they could definitely be knocked out of the competition.

How can I be consistantly relatively decent at this sort of thing but so unutterably terrible at fatnasty football?
Highlights so far: dropping Podolski in order to single-handedly end Alexander Frei's tournament, ditching Cesc Fabregas and David Villa to get enough cash to recruit Huntelaar and picking half of Italy's defence.
Next year, I'm going to use my powers for good and pick an All-Wankers Premiership XI for fatnasty pusposes. So when you hear about Robbie Savage's legs falling off, John Terry going down with scarlet fever and Cristiano Ronaldo being hit by a meteorite, you'll know who to thank.

To be fair, both were good games. It's been an enjoyable tournament so far, though I think it has proved once and for all that football is no longer a contact sport.
