My Zombie character has just taken out the power for the whole of Laurieville I think, by destroying the control panel on the 3rd floor of Laurieville Power Sation.
The Human character has wasted a load of searches looking for weapons. then stupidly barricaded himself in on the top floor of the building, not realising he has to debarricade to get out. :moop: fook.

Well you do need to search, but the more resource points a building has the more chance there is of finding something I think.

Well you do need to search, but the more resource points a building has the more chance there is of finding something I think. I thought when the 100 resource points were depleted, you wouldn't find anything. I'm just wondering if you're then given any indication or if you can just carry on blithely searching till the cows come home. Died now anyway. Spent all my SP looking for a fucking pistol so I couldn't beat off the zombie that started attacking me.

The guns aren't that useful unless you get Military training and that's a long way off. So I go for Melee first and build taht up. Attacks are more successful the higher you go and therefore the SP gain is quicker. 2 levels of Melee then 1 climbing anotehr level of melee and then 2nd level climbing tends to be my route.
Oh my human caracter now has a pitchfork, an axe and a Hammer to play with. I'll stick around until I find a backpack, wheelbarrow and or lorry so I can carry a ton of stuff in my invetory.

Oh well the Zombie character is died trying to smash his way into a hardware store in Laurieville. There were 4 other Zed's standing around and I got picked on, mind I was the only one scrating at the doors. As for the human, it's time to build EP and go and find a powered Hardware store and kill some Zeds on the way to get some SP.

Can that, someone restored power to the district, the hardware store is lit up like a beacon.
And the human found a wheelbarrow, Yay! Next up, when I have enough EP I'm off to find a school where there's a 5% chance of finding a back pack, then the mall to look for a wagon 2% chance.

I've got 21 injectors and vials in my backpack. But only my human side knows where that is. They probably weren't there if you'd taken a close look, if you picked them up after the drop, Alex later removed them all sometime early yesterday morning. If you had found them by searching they would have still been there, however it's all academic now. R% is up and running, It's a completely new game, so you will have to create your character/s again before starting

I'm already in on "R%."
I spent most of my early EP looking for a weapon, found a box of four bullets and then, to fire them with... a wrench.
Panned a couple of Zs with the wrench, but my accuracy is only at 40%, (which means about a 5% hit rate in this game), so my SP is moving slowly. The good news is that you can enter a building with closed doors in the early game and the Zs either have to smash them down, or get a smart Z to open them and the smart skill is expensive.

I've got about 70 bullets and a shotgun and baseball bat to fire them with.

Get yourself into a powered hardware store, you should be able to find some decent weapons there. You miss just as easily but a pitchfork does some nice damage when you do manage to poke it in the right direction. My human is currently dead outside of Goony Labs in Berrietown, ran out of EP trying to hit a zombie, 1 hit in 4 attempts at 40% to hit. he was down to 12 HP but woke up and killed me whilst I was resting.

I actually had pretty good success at 40% walloping on a zombie. Obviously not enough to actually kill him but still.
I'm hoping multi-stories allow for better zombie-avoidance success so I don't have to burn 10 EP standing up everytime I start to play.

Ok, I stood back up as a human and attacked the zombie again with the pitchfork after 3 failed attempts I finally had one that connected and he dropped dead. Bongo was stood their, I presume he was knackered and was building up for the final kill, sorry stu I stole your thunder before I realised that you were there.
I've high tailed it to the hospital to sit it out whilst I build up EP again, where I found a backpack too, nice, I can now hold 90 points of inventory. If you find any graffiti around refering to Bill Posters it's probably my work, I'm carring a can of yellow and a con of red spray paint with me.
The trick to this game seems to be to keep the power company buildings spick and span, that way you can run any building in the district without generators. When I have enough EP to do something I'll try to help out with the power company.
But this 40% to hit rate is a clear lie, I had I think a total of 9 attempts to hit a Zed and only hit one twice. The RNG is absolutely crap.

Ok I woke up this morning and both charactes were dead. The Berritown Power & Light company has been broken into by 4 zeds, I killed them all, dumped the bodies and repaired the doors a litte. Then called for help on the radio, someone came and Strongly secured the doors. Another zed arrived and between us we killed him, just need to dump the body now, I got the kill, but hit him more than the otehr guy.
When I wake up again I'll put the finishing touches to repairing the fuse box and gennie. At least I got light back on in the district for now. Could do with some help through the day though.

The zed character is slowly clawing away at a human in a fire station, but level rising is so slow, only getting 1 EP for breaking iton buildings. : moop:
