Post here any events you would like one of the bookmakers to offer odds on.
Post here any questions regarding WTF is going on here as well.
If there are specific bets on an existing event that you would like to see, for example a 1st goalscorer list, then ask in that bookie's thread.
KTHXBAI.

Q: Why in the hell would I bet on something like 1-3? That's brainbuggery, surely?

A. It just means that it's more likely to come in than something else. Remember, that if you win, you'd get your stake back too. So if you're offered 1/3 (like with italy winning tonight) and you bet 3, you'd get 1 back, plus your 3 stake, ie a return of 4.
I have bet 15 on Italy at 1/3. If they win, I'll get 5 from Hornet. If they don't win, Hornet gets 15 from me.

Anti-betting, then.
Unsportsmanlike conduct into which I shall not be competing.
Bleah.

More like safe betting, Pops. But aye, not glamourous.

Nice work on Hornet tempting me in with his 1/3 on Italy. Safe betting my backside. Anyway, how does Hornet feel about how this has gone so far? Is it too much of a faff, or is this a goer?

We're single-handedly proving that bookies aren't always winners. Other than that, no problems.

You're ok with the admin bit? I couldn't think of an easier way to do it, TBH.
And yes, we're disproving the "bookies always win" theory rather well. However, I'll clean up on the darts tonight....

Does anybody fancy doing the following?
1. Malaysian GP (F1) 2. Fitbae weekend fixtures.

I'll try and get some F1 action going at some point today.

Would anyone be interested in some golf action? Isn't it the US Masters this weekend? IIRC, it'll start at about 11am BST, so I'll try and get some odds on here tonight, if that's possible. What I'll try and do is something a little bit different, not just "who is going to win". Something like:
European to be leading after Round 1. Tiger Woods to post a sub 70 round 1 score.
That sort of thing....

Well I can guarantee you'd have a distinct advantage over me, as I know three fifths about golf. In light of that, expect the odds to be quite short.

Apologies for not getting any golf sorted for today. I might do something for the final two rounds (ie after the cut) on Friday. Also, there will be some footy stuff from me and I might even sneak something else in there, time permitting.

Boo - will we be getting some books on matches in the Cricket Championship and things like the Friends Prov trophy? Will you be doing spread betting? (If so, I would recommend a one point only bet. )

Does anyone want any cricket based bets? I would do a little something, but I'm not as au fait with this sport as some of the others.
Boo - can you oblige? If not, I'll have a poke at it.

Boo - cricket?
Horn - any traffic jams this weekend? I have $$$ to throw at your ample booty.
I shall be doing one of those silly football "group" type things in a bit.

Is anyone prepared to run a book on the Hatton/Pacquiao fight?

Because you're all a bunch of bastards, I'll do a Hatton/Pacquiao book. Even though it's more than likely Hatton won't win, I'll try and be creative in what I offer you. However, I'll have to do this tonight, so you'll all have Saturday to have a gander and see if you want to risk any of your hard-earned.

As you posted such generous odds Moo, I'll take one point on Hatton at 1000/1 and five points on Pacquiao at 50/1. Cheers.
