July 2005
I seem to have three Chinese players in my squad, all shite, all listed, Chongqing come in for Finance Gimp an AMLC for €220k plus 30k after 10 goals. Yes please… and I now have a transfer kitty of €310k. We also sell a second Chinese to Chongqing for a starter of 2k.
First friendly was a 0-0 thriller. Against some non-league cack team, then we hosted a piece of crap Bulgarian lot, beaten 2-1. We then play a Big Bull away, and draw 1-1. I decide to cancel a couple of the friendlies arranged, as I pretty much know who’s starting for me. Petrovac from Montenegro next at their place, 3-0 up at HT, looking sexy, finished that way, never looked in bother, on loan DC Tube Of Ants looked the business.
In comes a keeper called I Like Them Thick, who probably does, he’s only a youngster and was a freebie, just grand. Then in comes a spare striker for 1k, Sauce On. We also manage to nab a DR in at the last minute, Icy Knackers coming in on a free.
Last friendly before a couple of weeks suntan building was away to KSZO Ostrowiec and I kept the same line up for the third game. A sneaky 4-0 win with Celebrity Slasher, Funny Globetrotter, Recently Lost and Subliminal Message getting the goals.

We'll have none of this actually winning games here thank you very much. Even if they are only friendlies.

Are the teams booked for the friendlies complete and utter shoite or are Pivara better than the media predicted they would be?

The ones I have played are all non-league apart from that Petrovac lot which were in the equivalent Monty league.
As the transfer window is closed in Serbia, yes, at the start of August, I might do a run down of the squad that I have. It's mostly pants, but there are a couple of decent players that I can see.
I still can't believe I sold that Chinese lad for 220k. :cab:

August 2006
We have our first star with DLC Insert Here, called up for the Serbia U21s, which may be his 4th cap at this level. I taught him all he knows, obviously.
First league game was a 4-1 away win at BASK with Stories For Phil scoring two on his debut. Nice. We scrape through on pens against a spirited non-league side in Vrbas, our prize is another away tie at a non-league side, Sloboda (U).
After an away defeat in the league, we fall foul of tiredness in extra time in the cup game. Good. More time for league defeats.
Thankfully, our Chinese contingent was no more, keeper Buzzed The bee fooked off for 20k.
Back in the league and a sneaky 1-0 win after a couple of key injuries and sending off for us. An away game followed soon after and we finished the month with a very exciting 3-2 win and in 4th place after 4 games. Stories For Phil looking like a nice find for nowt, scoring 5 goals in 6 games so far.

A nice start there, Mr Moo. Especially winning with 10 men. Always nice, that.
What's Phil's secret? Pace? Height? Body Odour?

Wow, a £200k transfer. That's got to be a good start, and also winning with 10 men too.

A nice start there, Mr Moo. Especially winning with 10 men. Always nice, that. What's Phil's secret? Pace? Height? Body Odour? A combination of averageness in the defending stats and awfulness in the attacking stats. Or in other words, he got in the team because of an injury to one of the other two and kept his place because he's scoring. Nothing as scientific as "he forgot to spray his pits", I'm afraid.

That's good though - because if you can't work out how he does it, then the opposition has no hope. It's a strategy I use in tactical meetings.

I know. What kind of a game is it when even Moo can string together 8 wins out of 10?

Thank you for your kind words, one and all. I know you don't mean it, but I'll take all I get.
Much like Boony.

Luckily, I won my last two games from that lot, otherwise I'd be a laughing stock.

11 points from 9 games is decent form - if you keep it up the rest of the season you should avoid relegation.

Unlucky Moo, but at least Coffs can breathe a bit more easily when he finally starts, the poof.
Still, your in contention for promotion, and what Stu says.
