Go for it Moo, if they cost £150k they should be good enough for the Serbian big league too.

Go for it, especially a defender, a forward, a midfielder and a GK. They would be nice :moop:

I managed to sign a GK for 8k but there is nothing else in so far. I'm struggling to find anyone that will be wiling to negotiate with us.

I'm having the same problem, teams will negotiate, players won't.

I'm starting to go after the youth players, those that are around 16 years of age, as they seem more likely to come to my club. I've got a few decent looking prospects, and some that could go either way, though likely if I was at a big club, wouldn't go for them.

Nobody will sign for me, smarty pants. He's all I could get. To be fair, he's a decent pick up for 8k and will challenge Syndicated Chocolate for the starting spot. Now I think of it, I may have got a DR too, but I'd have to check the game when I get back tonight. My memory is cack, it really is.

I didn't sign anyone other than the GK after all, who had very little to do in our only league game last night, a 2-0 away win at Spartak (S). I'm not exactly sure how this season will progress, a lot of my players seem to have a lot of green arrows next to their stats and I've promoted a couple of rezzies on the back of this. The main problem I have at the moment is naming three U21s in the match day squad, as most of the first team are around the 23-26 mark.

Oh dear (U21 rule). I plundered the U19 market, whenever one becomes available he ets the onceover and if he looks ok phsically and has reasonable stats in the right places for his position then he gets a chance.

I have some, but nothing that would be worth starting with, other than Mister 45 (SC) and Sorry Rabble (ML). I might have to go trawling for yoof hoping to sign them in January.

I've started the trawl for yoofs, but nothing exciting me so far. We have played four games so far this season, two in the league, two in the cup and won all four. Yay us!

Nice start. I think that was another thing that bit me in the ass at the end of my first season, as the key members of my team were of that age, and when they became injured, I scrambled. I've bosmanning a bunch myself, and will be doing the blundering as well. It is a bit rediculous, especially as I'm sure the youths that will come through the system are going to be worse than crap. Loan signings?

I don't like to use loan signings, TBH, I prefer to have all players in my team, bought and paid for. Or nicked from the bozzers. I suppose that the U21s I have in the first squad are playable, definitely, but I have to make the numbers up in the subs. Mister 45 has an injury and he's only 18, so his presence there is a blow. I've had to put a yoof on the bench to cover the defence and was really neervous in case of a defensivre injury. The lad just isn't good enough to play.
I have remedied this though, as I have a couple on their way to the club in January, both wingers I think and so it means I will be able to sell on one or two of the older squad players who are not improving any more.

So after a decent start, we have a slight wobble and lose acouple of games, but after eight, we've won six and drawn none. The last game, I had to tell you about, was at home to 2nd placed Vozdovac. After being two down after 55 minutes, and with the away side in frm control, I change to a narrowere 4-1-32 and it comes up trumps. We make it 3-2 before our keeper saved a peno and with the away side chasing the game, a long ball got through to their keeper who dallied and Eye Dish took it off him and smacked it from 35 yards. A nice 4-2 win.
I feel so warm and fluffy.

We then beat Zemun in the cup and win another at home, then draw with Zemun at their place, so it's all looking nice at the moment. I'm just waiting for Stories For Phil to knack his spine or something. Or star centre half Insert Here put in a transfer request, like he just did. :moop:

I've just noticed, me changing things to a 4-1-32 was guaranteed four goals in the last half hour really. Insert was told that i wanted to meet his ambitions, which is obviously true, but he's on Very poor morale at the minute, so I'm singling him out for individual praise in the the team talks, to try and get that back up a bit. It seemed to work, he's only on Poor now. :cab:

PLayed four games tonight, won 3, lost one in disappointing fashion, but it takes us top of the league after 14 games, four points ahead of Vozdovac and five points from 3rd placed Radnicki NB.

Oh, is that all? I am pleased with how it's going so far, we're not conceding many at all and I do thin kit's to do with them having a full season of full time training under their belts, they've all improved. There's also a couple of the youngsters who have benefitted from playing 30 odd games in the reserves last season too.

Three games played, a draw and a loss in the league but a win in the cup and we're back level with one of the Radnicki brothers, but as I've beaten them in the league this season, I'm top. Ha!

I signed all my players, well the ones that I could, to fulltime contracts at the very start of the game. I remember from playing another game, the Polish one I think it was, that clued me into this. Plus, I think the version before was a bit like that too.
