Great stuff here, s1utster. I'm still amazed how little time it's taken you to be all-conquering in Turkey. I like your home record, but it's still not as good as Galatasaray's. And your away record is just rubbish :thumb:
Seriously, keep up the good work. I assume you'll have a job for life at Besiktas if you want it. When will you look to move on?

I'm stunned, personally. I never expected Besiktas to offer me the job and then when they did I expected the board to be of the sort who fire people for wearing the wrong kind of knot on their tie and that I'd be in and out faster than Buster Rhymes trying to get into England.
I was looking forward to having a fun failure so early in the story, but while Galatasaray and Fenerbahçe are clearly talented teams, they're also terribly flakey. Fenerbahçe have non-wins against Galatasary, JETPA, Antepspor and Samunspor, while Galatasary also lost to Antepspor and the JETPAcks, but also found some magical way to lose to Rizespor on the back of of a run of 2-0 / 5-0 / 4-0 / 1-0 / 4-0 wins.
As for where's next on the world tour... Juve are sitting 14th in Serie A with serious noise about the future of Carlo Ancelotti, but I suspect they'll move Ancelotti before long and I won't bail on Instanbul while I have a chance to win the title and scratch Turkey off the list.

Too easy, this game What formation are you playing? You'll never get the job at Juve, not until you've done some serious hard yards elsewhere in Italy, or maybe England or Spain, first. Anyway, good luck fella. We're all expecting a little tin pot at the end of this season...

4-5-1 at the moment, due to the large number of DMs. Or 4-4-1-1 in Europe and 4-2-3-1 against the cupcakes to try to get an early goal before they park the team bus across the net.

So, 1 striker then Sounds like my Bulancakspor game. I could only find 1 decent striker in Turkey under the age of 30, so I signed him and coveted him like I would my neighbours ass.

I didn't even have that in Turkey. I had a quick guy I played at AMC, who scored plenty. The rest were shite.

KUTGW Markus Monster Münch is my best player, so I had no choice really. And DRC Dmitri Khlestov is getting better at right back, although he'll be out on his ear at the end of the season as he wants a new contract consisting of all the money in the world, a squeeze of Rosario Dawson's norks and a pony. I might be interested if he didn't have "FGN" against his name. You realise if I get rid of you I can buy the Pantylicker, right?

That sounds much better than having to organize a contract that will ultimately consist of that. Pantylicking.

Excellent stuff, teh s1ut. A big :thumb: in your general direction.
I had the opportunity to manage Inter on 00-01. It was after a bit of a career and a very successful stint at dirtyLeeds, where I managed to win the Premier League and Wafer Cup. I then defended the League and won the LAC, then Inter threw a ridiculous budget at me.
I think if you win a Euro trophy you have a chance.

I got one of the big Italian jobs in one of my 00/01 games. I can't remember who it was - Roma, possibly. Anyway, I had a horrible time, because there were no easy games and any one of about 10 teams could stick a drubbing on you, so I resolved to get ou of there by taking the first time a high profile job that came up somewhere else.
And ended up at Hearts.

December 2001 Unlike most decembers which end with disappointment, this one opened with it as Monaco came to our place in the WAFER and stuck a 2-1 on us to go through 3-2 on aggregate. The board didn't seem too concerned, perhaps distracted by the 7-0 humping Galatasaray took from Parma. The sore bums at the big G continue into the league, where they drop three games in a row against Antepspor, Samsunspor and Kocaelispor to slump off the pace at the top. We bounce back from our own WAFER disappointment with a 3-1 win away at Altan, thanks to a cracking hattrick from Ahmet Dursun and then another away win, at Galatasaray's nemesis, Antepspor, 1-0 with a goal from Akman Ayhan. And that concludes the league action for the year. We do have a cup game, which is a home canter against second division Büyüksehir Belediye Spor. Sözkesen Murat, Akman Ayhan and Ulusal Fazli score the goals in a 3-0 cakewalk. Unlike on the pitch, there's action all month in the transfer market as we bring in AMFC Eris Ceyhun from Siirt JETPAspor for €9m and then send out useless DMR Alaçayir Murat and whiny MLC Üzülmez Ibrahim both to Adanaspor for €2.9m and €3.5m respectively. We could have use Ibrahim for some wide cover in midfield, but he's our highest paid player at a staggering €25,000 a week, (thank you for that, Mr Scala), and isn't much more than squad cover and then only in Europe when half my players are ineligible. To end the month, we sell reserve forward Ersen Martin to some Germans for €500,000. Possibly for medical research, I don't care. Galatasary and Fenerbahçe both win their games in hand to put a better gloss on the end of year table. January 2002 A new year brings the predictable heat from Galatasaray and Fenerbahçe, as the big two turn up their performances in an effort to chase us down. I wouldn't be surprised to see one or other of them go virtually undefeated for the rest of the season, as is the AI's wont. So it's only fair that we set them a target to chase then, eh? We play four games in January and finish with four wins, twelve goals scored and only two allowed. Squad depth forward Ulusal Fazli gets a run out in the Turkish Cup to give people a rest and ends up bagging a hattrick, then adds goals in two other games to finish the month with five. He doesn't normally get on the field in anger, because he's essentially a lzy canute, but he's clearly talented when the mood takes him. The 5-0 and 4-1 away crushings of Izmirspor and Göztepe in the Turkish Cup have us cruising through to the semi-final of that competition along with Antepspor, Altay and Ankaragücü as both of the big two had crashed out in the fourth round, handily. This allowed them to concentrate on the league, which meant that got a really good look at us taking six points from six there too. We squeezed past Ankaragücü 1-0 thanks to a goal from DM Miroslav Karhan and then Karhan was on the scoresheet again, with Fazli again, in the 2-1 over Kocaelispor; a win that would have been much more comfortable if we hadn't missed two penalties. Fenerbahçe won their pair of games 1-0 and 3-2, while Galatasaray won both of their's, 3-0. February promises to be a big month, as Fenerbahçe are away to Galatasary on the 10th and then come to Besiktas on the 23rd. Just remember, if you win a tight game, to make your "we've got bottle" speech, followed by a direct and smooth transition into "I'd love it, love it, love it if we beat them".
Leading at halfway requires some kind of grandiose statement to the league of your intention to stay the course.
