Ineed. There are some people of dubious creativity out there. I try not to point it out just after they've beaten me 9-0 though.

Were there any Hobbits in that said side?
A win? That's almost unheard of isn't it? Well done :thumb:

What's that? It's difficult to hear you both from up here on top of the league.

Up? You mean down! You're an entire division below me.
I see you just bought a dishonest Scotsman. Are you hoping to get some new tyres?

I'm trying to find a central midfield that doesn't completely suck.
I did finally locate the "Sack The Useless Bostord" button a couple of days ago, though, and have been making predictably merry with that.

It's a shame you're only allowed to use the StUB button once a day. I think I broke mine.

I got a 0-0 in my last game and I'm trying to buy a striker worthy of the name, as it seems the guy who I have been playing up front would probably be better on the wing.
I need to give myself an hour or so tonight looking at my players and try and fathom what I'm supposed to do with them. I have the lot on defensive training, as I have one very good defender who I plan to train up and sell when his form is good. Is that the right way to do it?

I've got my lot on defensive training because it affects all my midfielders and defenders. Since I'm playing a 4-5-1, it seemed the way to get the most out of the most players.
We conceded our first league goal of the season yesterday, but came roaring back via cheaty moody Ronaldo-alike Casper Homan, who's so unpopular that even scoring a hat-trick wasn't enough to win him the man of the match.

I got an absolute fucking shoeing last night, with another 9-0. The problem is that because I'm a new team, I have level 7 players, but I'm still at level 6, which means that whenever I run into a team that's been around for a while, I'm in for a thorough kicking.
Having looked at it I think there are two teams I can beat home and a way and one I might split with, which should be good enough to keep me up, or at least earn me a playoff to stay up, but in the meantime this season is going to feature a lot of dry humping.

I got a 6-0 humpng in a friendly last night. My two best defenders were injured in the previous league game, so I had to put two midfielders there instead. Then the midfielder I bought off s1ut, who has actually played well for me went off injured too. I foresee another humping in the league on Saturday. But the good news is, I know who to sell from my team. Basically all of the fookers.

Oh and teh s1ut, could you post the details of all of the Divots taking part in the opening post of this thread? It makes it easier to spy on you and Hornet. Ta.

I thought my friendly was tonight, so didn't show up for it and put out a collection of useless, aimless tosspots.
So the usual starting 11. We lost 1-0. After losing 1-0 at the weekend in the league, with 10 men.
At least I'm doing well in my other league™.
I'll get around to sticking out the Divot details later probably.

Right then, after our plucky team's plucky start to their plucky season which is anticipated to feature a plucky fight against relegation, they were well and truly plucked by all and sundry, failing to score a goal since that 6-1 win earlier in the season. But are we disheartened? Are we? Well, yes we are, but we have a new training regime and I'm sure everything's going to be fine. Next year. In division seven. Bismarck are currently seventh in division six. Horn's bunch continue atop their division seven and are now six points clear and have six or seven players in the division's dream team. DC's oiks haven't lost since opening day and are currently third in their division seven. They have a centreback, centre midfielder and centre forward in the division's dream team. Finally, Moo's clowns are plummeting, as you'd expect, going from top of their division six after one game, to one off the bottom after six. One clown makes the division's dream team, possibly because Moo seems to be playing in a warzone, with most of the teams in the league suffering from lots of injuries. He does, at least, seem likely to win the fair play trophy. Which will go nicely with his p45.

He's only got two yellow cards in six games. The guy with the most Top Trumps has two reds and nine yellows already.
To be fair to Moo, I've only just noticed that he's in the same predicament as me - both of us have division seven garbage teams in division six.
