I only have one of each. Why so many?

Because each one stacks, up to about five, where the effect starts to drop off considerably due to diminishing return.
I have six physios constantly and then hire/fire doctors every week depending on who's injured and for how long.

I was away this week so I didn't set my team. Still, diving on the Great Barrier Reef > setting hattrick teams.

I only won away at the second worst team in the league 2-0, which isn't that great really, though I am guaranteed 6th spot. Next week I get to play the worst team at my place. That will be 4-0 thankyou very much The last week will determine whether I finish the season on equal points with 5th spot, but stay in 6th due to a inferior GD. I'm pleased with how this season has gone, as highlights have definitely been a win at home to the team in 2nd spot, and a draw and a disappointing 1-0 away loss to the team currently in 5th spot(who will definitely win next week and put them in 4th, as the team currently in 4th will lose to the team who have just wrapped up the division). It will come down to the last week to determine who finishes where

Bizarrely, both Germans and Russians won this weekend. The Germans played a very defensive 5-3-2 away from home and lost their "Supernatural" winger to injury and yet still stuck a 4-2 win on the fourth placed team. With two weeks to go, it's still mathematically possible for the Battleships to survive, but the play the top of the table team next week and need a win to have a chance going into the final game of the season... Meanwhile, the Chitans were up against the team run by the guy who dragged me back into hattrick. He's top of the division and beat me earlier in the season and with his eye on a matchup against the third placed team next week I talked down my chances to him - saying I was happy to have almost certainly survived and will concentrate on my qualifier - and then stuck in a Match of the Season and beat him 3-2. I'm looking forward to the email I get from him tomorrow. Again. We went into the break at 1-1, nicked the go-ahead goal right out of the gate in the second half and then made it 3-1 with a minute to play, meaning his 90th minute goal was just a consolation and not an equaliser. The surprise win means that it's still technically possible for Loko to win the title, as they have 22 points with two games to play and the leaders, who I beat today, have 27. Fifth place still looks the best bet for the Chitans, but our recent league form run of W-W-W-D-W-W over the past six games has been very pleasing.

Well, a sold out 40,000 seat stadium witnessed a glorious 4-1 win for the Space Pirates in the last match of the season, over the third placed team. Alas the improvement in our division meant that a fairly similar points total to last season was only enough for me to finish 5th, meaning I've got a playoff on the way. A quick glance at the opposition makes victory look assured - these guys would be lucky to get a point in our division.
$5.7m in the bank to spunk on whoever I want over summer, which will be nice.

I won my last game of the season too, away to the team in 5th place 2-1 without my best defender. This left me on the same amount of points as them, but as they had a better(positive) GD, and had beaten my 4-0 in the first game of the season, finished 5th to my 6th. Still, much better than I expected for this division with the players I have in comparison. I even beat the team that finished 2nd.
As Elth said, 5th spot requires a play off. So does 6th. The excellent news on this front is that I'm playing a bot team that has been one, forever.

The RussiansChita celebrated their eighth win of the season, drilling the bottom side 4-0 with a brace from Rui Cotovio and goals from Sami Shaipi and Didier Bell. Cotovio finished the season as the team's top scorer despite being the third forward behind Shaipi and Carlos Alberto Rubio. Midfielder Jim Clary was player of the season for the team. The youth-team product scored two 5.5 ratings, eight 6.0 ratings and eight 6.5s. Chita get a home qualifier which will add to the $2,7m in the bank account. The GermansAppropriately for a season that was lost on two red cards earlier in the season, Bismarck's last game; a 1-0 defeat, featured two more red cards, as the team finished the game with nine players. Bismarck's player of the season was forward Alejandro Albuquerque, who finished the season with two 7.0 ratings in his last two games, although it was defender Mats Hjertbom who finished as top scorer with seven goals. Bismarck will go back to level VI, switch to a 3-5-2 bolstered by the defenders they've spent two years training and see what happens.

Just bought a Brilliant striker. Cost me a bit more than I wanted, but he's only 21 so he'll be a fixture in the side for, like, ever.

Moo, have you lost interest?
I won my qualification game on the weekend 6-0, though the fact it was against a bot team tarnashes that win a little bit. One of my players did get a hattrick, a rare thing with my team.
I also did something I rarely do, just because of my training, beat Elth 4-2. Now we are on to the cup competitions. How quickly the season has come around this time. I liked having that qualification team, as it meant a nice $220k straight into the bank. I'm hoping this season brings me more fans so I can start maxing my stadium out.
I'll need to invest in my squad again I think, and to do that, I'm waiting for a bunch of formidable defenders to become outstanding.

I lost interest the season before I won the league, Sonic.
I should really go and log in and then resign properly. Or in other words, sell the players and buy some of your crud with the money.

Bismarck had a fire sale and shifted eight defenders, then bought six midfielders, Solid and above, to begin the move to 3-5-2.
Chita won their qualifier 7-0 and will probably sit on their cash for another season, as it looks like they're in the midriff of this division, nowhere near good enough to challenge at the top and not in any real danger of relegation.
Of course, that's what I said about Bismarck last year.
