I won my last game 3-0 9-0 away to the (then) 2nd bottom placed side, meaning that we finished with 14 wins and without a goal conceded.
One season up in level V, then back down to level VI. Nice.

Couldn't resist. Meanwhile... Both teams will auto-promote into no doubt hellishly-difficult divisions for next season. The Russians sealed the title last week, but auto-promotion required a win over the Acheivers this week, which we got - running out to a 3-0 lead and then clinging on with white knuckles to win 3-2. Hubert Van Zudert won the €10,000 for top scorer of his division as his finaly-day hattrick lifted him to 19 for the season and 100 for his career. Sami Shaipi won the Russian's golden boot with 13 goals for the season, (30 career), but that was only good enough for second in their division.

This was my team of the season : Jessie MacKeggie is on the market though, (and a snip at £500,000), being replaced by youth pull wunderkind Cabot "Mr" Spock. Next season I will, apparently, be in V26 My average rating for this season was 162.5 which would have made me the 6th strongest team in that division this year, although by position my defence would have been ranked 2nd, my midfield 7th and my forwards 5th. It looks... survivable. Especially with £3,000,000 burning a hole in my back pocket.

Moo, your training Defenders aren't you? At what level of ability do you sell them at?

If you mean in place of Farrugia then only if you rmidfielder is a winger. Farrugia plays on the wing, with Bankowski and Rubenwolf in the middle.

Bankowski actually. He's a 5 star. I think I'd have another but he's been playing in defense. I've a couple of defenders catching up to your 4 stars too. One of them is an excellent playmaker who is now an inadequate defender. Another playing in defense has only just popped to formidable, but has solid playmaking abilities. I don't know how he'd go in midfield either.

Ah, Bankowski is actually my best playmaker too, rated at Brilliant. The problem being that I bought him with Poor form and have only got it up to Inadequate so far. Rubenwolf is only an "Outstanding" playmaker, but his form has been solid or above all season. Bankowski's gone from 3.5 stars on his debut to 4.5 every week now, so when I get his form up to Solid he should be a 6 star player, not that stars are necessarily an indicator of anything, but still. The yellow arrow is when I bought him - I've pushed his TSI up by a thousand by improving his form and I think he'll pop form again this weekend, to passable.

I think the last one I sold was Formidable, at £1M, I think. I haven't sold Sami Laitinen... i can't bear to do it.

You can't sell Sami!
I finally cracked and listed Jesse MacKeggie. Even though I didn't want to.

Ah, then I'd say that he's a better PM than my player, who is only excellent, but passable at defending and passing, but inadequate at everything else except set-pieces which he is excellent at. Oh, and he's also powerful.
That extra 1000 you said you put on him, could that have been stamina? I didn't think form had any bearing on TSI.

Form has a major bearing on TSI. Most of the fluctuation for non-training position players is down to form and you can actually spot when someone's background from changes by watching their TSI.

In fact, from the rules :
Total Skill Index (TSI): Total Skill Index is a measurement of how skilled a player is. TSI increases with training and can also increase (and decrease) with form.

I think the last one I sold was Formidable, at £1M, I think. I haven't sold Sami Laitinen... i can't bear to do it. Oh and the Russians forgot to pass on their thanks for finally selling Super Karl. That triggered the sell-on fee and Chita earned an impressive $20...

Annnnnnnnd the Russians have discovered where they'll be going next season - V95.
This year Chita were rated an average of 167.4, with 74.4 for defence, 49.5 for midfield and 43.4 for the forwards.
If Chita had been in the division this year, they would have been the sixth best team, with the 4th best defence, 4th best midfield and 5th best attack.
Amusingly, the guy who goaded me back into Hattrick is in this division, although he has to win a qualifier to stay there, as he finished fifth.

Just had a look at the ALLTID pages and it seems that DC's team got promoted too, even though he hasn't touched them for a while. Nice work DC! ...this was the last time I read this thread, and even then it didn't inspire me to visit my team. Is this thing still going?
