So it was off to Latvia for a Euro Cup game with Ventspils, who by a strange twist of coinkie-dinky were in real life playing Moo's Newcastle last night at the same stage of the real EURO Cup. Ventspils 0 vs 3 CSK Pivara, Euro Cup 2nd Qualifying Round, 1st Leg![](http://img220.imageshack.us/img220/1858/csklineupshi0.th.jpg) We got off to a belting start when on 3 minutes , Freeview Channel 19 released Chave's Story with a well placed long ball, the young strike sprinted from half way and gathered the ball about 40 yards out, his run took him past the keeper and he gratefully accepted the gift of an open goal. It has to be said that Ventspils were pretty dire and we hammered them, but the second goal didn't arrive until the 70th minute, Scratch Mark put a ball into the area meant for Urgent Camel, but a defender got in first and diverted the ball past his own keeper. On 88 Urgent Camel clipped the ball to the near post, New Tricks flicked it on over the keeper and Capstan Full Strength ran in to prod the ball into the empty net. I think that means: CSK Pivara > Newcastle. ![](http://www.geocities.com/jacquesdebohun/smilies/grin.gif) The Master was absolutely delighted with the win, to be honest I think he was just happy to be in Europe. Vozdovac 0 vs 3 CSK Pivara, League![](http://img220.imageshack.us/img220/6428/csklineupsxh2.th.jpg) Again we started well, but this time took a little longer to open our account. On 15 Urgent Camel threaded the ball through to One In A Bed Sex Romp, the striker hit it against the keeper and reacted quicker than anyone else to guide the rebound into the net. On 28 Our Kid repeated Urgent Camels move in the first goal, but this time Chave's Story benefited, Story didn't need the help of a rebound to claim his goal though. The third goal came on 57 from the penalty spot, after New Age Christian was hacked down in the area, Vozdovac were reduced to 10 men as a result and Freeview Channel 19 converted from the spot. Yet another game in which we hammered our opponents, they did manged 7 shots but not one was on target, we on the other hand managed a 17/10 ratio. Two league games in and we are top, Red Star have lost their two opening games and Partizan have won one and drawn one. Next up an away trip to a team I don't like playing, Obilic. Obilic 0 vs 3 CSK Pivara, League![](http://img301.imageshack.us/img301/2650/csklineupsbd3.th.jpg) The first half was a hard fairly even affair, Obilic surprisingly didn't create a lot from the possession that they had and we looked a little off key. At the break I swapped out, Arms & Legs and Chave's Story who both looked a little jaded and off the pace, on came T' Hat Box and New Tricks. In the 2nd period Obilic stepped up a gear but still failed to make their possession count. Then on 58 Urgent Camel picked out New Tricks with a lovely ball over the defence, the substitute striker ran onto the ball and finished with aplomb from 10 yards, for his first club goal. That deflated Obilic's sails a bit and on 65 a deep cross from Scratch Mark was headed against the keeper by T' Hat Box and New Tricks stole in to grab his second goal. On 73 a fast tiring New Tricks was subbed for Book Mark. Three minutes later, Book Mark won the ball in midfield, beat his man, played a one-two with Capstan Full Strength which took out 2 defenders, he then ran into the area and smashed the goal in from 8 yards. Obilic were dead and buried and we had another comfortable 3-0 win. Again the board are delighted, our Ass-man urges me to keep hold of MOM Urgent Camel as he is a class player, as if I didn't already know. Austria Wien still haven't made their mind up about my counter offer regarding Our Kid, who I think we will miss if he goes, but I don't want to lose him for nothing at the end of the season. If he goes, we'll get over it just like we did when Forest Gimp left.

Our first big test is next, a home game against Red Star, last season we struggled to do anything against them, this game might give an indication on whether we have improved or not. CSK Pivara 2 vs 0 Red Star, League![](http://img207.imageshack.us/img207/4502/csklineupsts0.th.jpg) This game gave me an enormous feeling of satisfaction, though Red Star held all the possession they did nothing with it. I only felt any trepidation in the early exchanges, then it became clear that we were comfortably holding our own. Last season we spent the game holding on. The first goal came after only 19 minutes had passed. One In A Bed Sex Romp headed the ball forward from the halfway line, their keeper came out and knocked it to their right back, One In A Bed closed him down and the right back, who was about 30 yards out, tried to knock the ball back to the keeper, only he hadn't retreated far enough and the ball rolled into the net just inside the right post. We were all in stitches. The second goal came 6 minutes later, Urgent camel lost the ball near the right edge of the penalty area, but chased back and got a tackle in, the ball fell to Simian Wake who quickly chipped it forward, Chave's Story turned and hit the ball in one movement and sent a 25 yard curler beyond the keepers reach. We comfortably saw out the rest of the game with chances fro either side being pretty even. I never felt at any point that we would give a goal away. We're 4 games in and stand 5 points clear at the top with 12 points from 4 games, though Borac and Buducnost who are on 7 points have a game in hand. I'm pretty pleased with the progress so far, we look a solid unit this season and some new players are looking impressive; Levitating Ski Run in goal looks competent and unflappable, I think he may be boosting our defences confidence, Carpet Slipper is looking very steady partnering Nano Technology in the centre of defence, but he has just been injured lifting weights in training and could be out for the next month. Chave's Story seems to have added a new dimension to our attack, hopefully it will last but it's early days yet and he has trouble staying fit for more than 45 minutes at the moment. Another player who seems to have stepped up a notch is Scratch Mark, he was in and out of the team last year but he's certainly staking his claim for regular selection so far. Meanwhile; Yak Tart, Simian Wake and new Tricks are named in the Team Of The round, Yak Tart picks up the Player Of The Round award and Chave's Story's goal against Red Star is easily the best Goal Of The Round. Our Kid has handed in a written transfer request, it's granted and Lierse have offered £450k plus £1.3M over 24 months and 20% sell on, I ask for at least the equivalent of Austria Wien's offer, £600k + £1.3 over 6 months plus 30% sell on. Then we prepare for the Euro Cup 2nd Qualifying Round 2nd Leg against Ventspils: CSK Pivara 1 vs 0 Ventspils, Euro Cup 2nd Qualifying Round 2nd Leg, - WON 4-0 on aggregate![](http://img224.imageshack.us/img224/8165/csklineupskq2.th.jpg) We battered Ventspils in the first half but couldn't find a way through their packed defence and midfield. It was only when I took Our Kid off at the break for Arms & Legs, moving Armani Reject into the middle that we saw a space or two open up. On the hour I took off the two strikers in favour of Capstan Full Strength and New Tricks and still we struggled to find an proper opening. It was only when I instructed the players to stop going wide all the time that we started making real headway. On 73 Simian Wake slung a ball to the edge of the box and Armani Reject stole in to head the only goal of the game from 6 yards. It wasn't our best performance but I put that down to Ventspils defensiveness and and my mistake of playing Our Kid in the starting lineup instead of T' Hat Box. Still we won and we won on aggregate which is more important, that gives us a bonus of £30k to take into the First Round of the competition where we are drawn to meet AZ Alkmaar which could be tough. Lierse accept our counter offer for Our Kid and hopefully he'll soon be on his way. I don't want anyone unsettling the squad we have now, no matter how good he is. Juventus hammered Liverpool 3-0 in the European Super Cup. Borac 0 vs 2 CSK Pivara, League![](http://img132.imageshack.us/img132/4141/csklineupsgj0.th.jpg) Borac gave us a hard first 20 minutes until we shortened our passing a little and dropped the defensive line, then we started pushing them. Then on 37, T' Hat Box threaded the ball between 2 defenders, Chave's Story beat his marker to the ball and hammered a shot inside the left post, it left the home fans stunned. The second period was much the same as the first with Borac pressing for an equaliser, going to 4-2-4 did for them in the end, it left them exposed to a quick counter and our 2nd goal came from a great passing movement on 86: New Tricks fed the ball inside to Urgent Camel, his great low pass was met by Our Kid on the edge of the area, he drew the keeper and played a 2 yard pass inside for substitute striker, One In A Bed Sex Romp to lash home. Game Over! Urgent Camel was outstanding in todays game and got a rating of 10 to take the MOM award. The League Table after 5 games:![](http://img92.imageshack.us/img92/6379/cskleagueiv8.th.jpg) Our 7 game winning run between the 5th August 2007 and 26th August 2007 is a new CSK Pivara record. Simian Wake and Urgent Came are named in the Team Of The Round. Urgent Camel has the honour of being named Player Of The Round. Yak Tart and Scratch Mark have been called up to the Ukraine U21's and S&M U21's respectively. Our next game is at home against Jedinstvo (BP).

CSK Pivara 3 vs 1 Jedinstvo (BP), League![](http://img114.imageshack.us/img114/4590/csklineupsuq1.th.jpg) We should have walked this game but we made hard work of the first half, much the same as we did against Borac. We had plenty of chances but spurned then, the on the stroke of half time, Jedinstvo broke, won themselves a free-kick 22 yards out and Petar Jankovic scored from it, it was only their second shot of the game. At the break I hauled off Arms & Legs for T' Hat Box and asked for shorter passing and less width. On 48 Urgent camel, fed a ball inside to Freeview channel 19 which the midfielder hit first time to send a curling 23 yarder into the net. Jedinstvo stepped up a gear and came back at us, I dropped the D line back a bit, it didn't do a lot of good as the front 2 were not performing when we got the ball froward. So they were hauled off, One In A bed Sex Romp was pretty damned angry, but that's his problem. That got things rolling again as Capstan Full Strength pulled a ball back to the left corner of the area, on 70, T' Hat Box took one touch before sending a banana shot into the top right corner of the net. Jedinstvo battled hard after that but the game was wrapped up on 88 when Freeview Channel 19 headed in Armani Reject's free-kick from 6 yards. The Jedinstvo goalscorer received his marching orders as a result of giving away that free-kick. A disappointing 742 fans turned out to watch the game.
In the U21 internationals Scratch Mark did ok in S&M's 6-0 win over Georgia and Yak Tart did ok in Ukrain's 0-0 draw with Croatia.
Bloody Lierse took so l ong over deciding to buy Our Kid that the deal was cancelled when the transfer window shut. ![](http://www.geocities.com/jacquesdebohun/smilies/moop.gif)
The Manager of The Month Award is throwin in my direction and the board are delighted with progress, even though we made a loss of £81.6k in August.
Levitating Ski run was in briliant form for Macedonia against England and helped his country to a 1-1 draw against the favouites, Sad Vampire played for the last 10 minutes.
Cling Film played well for Georgia in there 2-0 win over Serbia, getting a rating of 8.
Urgent Camel plated well and created a goal in Abania's 1-1 draw with Lithuania, he rated an 8, Our Kid rated a 7.
The following players were named in the Team of The round: Simian Wake, Broken Down Angel, Urgent Camel and Freeview Channel 19, the latter of which also took the Player Of The Round Award. In teh Goal of The Round, T' Hat Box took first place with his banana shot and Freeview Channel 19 took 2nd place with his curling long range effort.
Our Kid is unhappy with me offering him around to other clubs, he doesn't think he can trust me anymore. The bloody halfwit, wouldn't sign a contract and then asked for a transfer when I said I wanted him to stay at the club. I've dropped him out of the Euro squad, I might now stick the twat in the reserves.
Get this his General happiness = Looking to Leave the club. Slight Concerns = Doesn't want to leave the club.
WTF is that all about? His personality is listed as a Realist. I think he's a Mentalist more like.
In the 1st Round of the S&M Cup we are drawn away to 1st league Radnicki (P).

In the 2nd batch of Internationals:
Levitating Ski Run didn't do so well in his second internaltional game as Poland beat Macedonia 2-1. Urgent Camel did ok as Albania went down 3-0 against the Czech Republic and Cling Film did well as Georgia drew with Israel 1-1.
We agree to sign 21yo 5'11" Romanian DC, Former El Pres for a fee of £170k plus 10% of any furture sale from FC Vaslui, he'll join on 1st January.
Loko Moscow are negotiating for Our Kid, they've offered £400k plus £1.2M and 10% I've upped the 10% to 25%, let's see if they agree. They do and they are in talks with the idiot. I just want him out the door now, for anything I can get.

Mladost Apatin 1 vs 1 CSK Pivara, League![](http://img139.imageshack.us/img139/6784/csklineupsbs0.th.jpg) I might have known that our winning streak would come to an end against Mladost, at least it was only an end rather than a catastrophic end. Mladost totally outplayed us for long periods, especially the first 30 minutes, until I switch to fast short passing, we managed to take the last 15 of the first half. Thanks to Lacerating Ski Run we went in 0-0 at the break. The second period was almost the same as the first as Mladost changed tactics and gave us the runaround for another 30 minutes only for us to switch with 15 minutes to go and start threatening. Then on 80 they carved us open and slotted the ball in from 16 yards. We looked dead and buried, but with time running out I threw caution to the wind and pushed the defence forward and asked for fast long balls into the area. We had a couple of chances but the final touch eluded us, Mladost nearly got a second but they two seemed to have lost accuracy. one nd a half minutes into injury time, T' Hat Box played a one-two with New Tricks and then launched the ball over the defence into the area, Book Mark got to it first and absolutely blasted a first time shot and nearly broke the net. We'd saved a point when we deserved nothing and I was over the moon, but still gave the team a roasting for their overall abject performance. T' Hat Box was named in the Team Of The Round, New Tricks and Big Pants joined the injury list which contains 9 of our first team squad at present. Our Kid finally agrees terms with Lokomotiv Moscow and will join them on 15th December for £1.6M plus 25% of any future fee. At least we got something out of him, he's been playing like a twunt this season, I think he's in a permanent sulk. There is a distinct chance that will continue as I'm considering letting him spend the remainder of his time in the reserves. CSK Pivara 5 vs 2 AZ Alkmaar, EURO CUP - 1st Round 1st Leg ![](http://img224.imageshack.us/img224/2410/csklineupsfi9.th.jpg) We expected a hard game and came away feeling like we had just come out of a dream. On 5 minutes Arms & Legs put a deep cross to the edge of the 6 yard box, Freeview Channel 19 headed on and the keeper parried only for Chave's Story to run in and claim his 5th goal of the season. Six minutes later an AZ midfielder passed back from midway into our half, it went behind every defender and Chave's Story took full advantage, running in, rounding the keeper and adding a second from a tight angle. On 18, AZ were back in it as they pulled a goal back following a scramble from a corner. We restored our 2 goal advantage on 26 when Stam passed back to the keeper, the keeper tried a chip into midfield, but Urgent Camel got to the ball first and lobbed it goal-wards from 35 yards, the keeper was beaten all ends up and we had a 3-1 lead to take us into the break. Chave's Story had his hat-trick on the hour driving the ball in from 18 yards as the goalkeeper back peddled furiously, Scratch Mark was the provider with a long clearance over the defence. AZ didn't give up and pulled the game back to 4-2 on 65, when Almeida turned Broken Down Angel and shot home across our keeper. On 75 we were reduced to 10 men as Chave's Story limped off injured and we had used all our subs 5 minutes earlier. The final goal came from a Freeview Channel 19 25 yard curler after Simian Wake had fed a quick 10 yard pass inside to the midfielder. The Master as usual was delighted with everyone but my delight was tempered by the news that Chave's Story and Lacerating Ski Run would be out for up to 2 weeks following injuries sustained during the game. In the meantime we sign a Serbian, DM called The Sacroiliac on a free after he was released by Duisburg, we probably don't need him, but given the amount of injuries we seem to be getting, extra cover won't go amiss.

CSK Pivara 4 vs 0 Smederevo, League![](http://img109.imageshack.us/img109/2441/csklineupsae5.th.jpg) We were slight favourites to win this game, but Smederevo were shown no mercy and went home with their tails between their legs. The rout started when T' Hat Box put a ball to the edge of the area, Nuclear Toblerone twisted between two players and lamped the opener from 16 yards. On 23, Urgent Came chipped a 22 yard free-kick to the edge of the box and Capstan Full Strength headed in from 6 yards. The game settled down after that and we allowed Smederevo to do what they wanted as long as they didn't get to close to our area. On 56 they were down to 10 men as Capstan Full Strength was hacked down outside the area as he bore down on goal. Their defender had already seen yellow for a similar offence in the first half, but this was a straight red. On 61, T' Hat Box collected a free-kick on the left wing and chipped to the near post, Armani Reject met the ball and half volleyed past the keeper from a tight angle for number 3. Smederevo completed their misery with a poor back pass 3 minutes into injury time, Gunner Rear got the ball first, touched it past the keeper then hit it into the unguarded net from 35 yards. Another day of delight for The Master and his cohorts, Simian Wake and Freeview Channel 19 are singled out for praise much to the delight of the fans. Zeleznicar agree to our terms for the transfer of Vic's Nasal Spray and get talks underway with the player. Simian Wake, Sad Vampire, T' Hat Box and Capstan Full Strength are named in the Team Of The Round, and Simian Wake is 2nd in the Payer of the Round award. Our next game is against Radnicki (P) in the Cup. PS: Red Star are having a bad season, they are bottom with 4 points. Partizan aren't doing too well either, they have 11 points from 8 games, they have Won 2, drawn 5 and lost 1 game so far.

Radnicki (p) 0 vs 3 CSK Pivara, S&M Cup - Round 1![](http://img164.imageshack.us/img164/1561/csklineupsgo1.th.jpg) We got off to a real flyer as Damn Buster fed a ball to Book Mark, the young striker beat one man and dribbled into the area before attempting a chipped cross, he mis hit the chip and it ended up in the net. Five minutes later and Damn Buster was once again the provider a long flighted ball into the area was met by Book Mark who in turn drove low inside the right post. Radnicki attempted to make a game of it but were limited to a string of long range efforts. On 65 Scratch Mark played a long ball towards the area, Our Kid met it and nudged the ball past the transfixed keeper, with his head, from 4 yards, to book our place in the next round. The Sacroiliac made his debut in the cup match and put in a pretty solid performance and we collect £60k for progressing to the next round. Vic's Nasal Spray agrees to join Zeleznicar for £26k and 35% of any sell on, he'll depart these parts on 1st January 2008. Damn Buster joins the ridiculous injury list for up to a month. We're drawn away to 1st League Srem in the S&M Cup 2nd Round. It's at this point that the Partizan manager starts playing silly buggers, telling us that we have to beat the big boys if we want to win the title and maybe we should reassess our goals if we were to lose. He gets a banana skin thrown in his face for his trouble, may reply being that we fear no-one and will kick his fooking arse up and down anywhere he cares to name. To this the fookwit claims he has no time for idle speculation as he has an appointment with a rather long nasal hair, but they will try hard to beat us. Scratch Mark joins the injury list for a month with a fractured cheek bone, Sad vampire could be out for a week with a bruised head. Partizan 3 vs 3 CSK Pivara, League![](http://img417.imageshack.us/img417/908/csklineupsmm4.th.jpg) Partizan held sway in the first half but despite their possession the game remained goal-less at the break. That was to change in the 2nd period; Partizan took the lead on 48 as our defence watched a deep ball fall behind our lines to be headed in unchallenged. Their lead didn't last long as Nuclear Toblerone fed the ball inside to Our Kid, the soon to leave midfielder struck a 30 yard shot straight at the keeper, but the keeper fumbled and the ball fell behind the line. On 55 T' Hat Box fed the ball forward, Capstan Full Strength ran across the covering defender, taking the ball with him then as he entered the area he hit a cheeky chip over the keeper into the net. On 64, Nano Technology headed a long clearance back into the mix, Nuclear Toblerone got behind the enemy lines and fired against the keeper twice, the ball broke and Urgent Camel side-footed in from 8 yards. That should have been game over, but Partizan never gave up. On 70 the were back in with a shout after a 2 touch move ended in a goal. On 88 a similar move ended with Levitating Ski Run saving, but the ball broke to a Partizan attacker to slip gratefully in for the equaliser. They closed up shop after that and left me fuming. After the game I intimate that Partizan have as much chance of winning the title as Sunny Liston has of making a winning comeback in a World Title fight, but their manager doesn't rise to the bait this time, preferring to concentrate on contemplating his own belly button fluff. Urgent Camel and T' Hat Box are named in the Team of The Round squad. Capstan Full Strength takes first place in the Goal Of The Round competition. It's now Rogue Patch's turn to join the injured list with a chest injury that will sideline him for up to 4 weeks. At least Chave's Story is back in training. AZ Alkmaar 0 vs 2 CSK Pivara, EURO CUP 1st Round 2nd Leg CSK Pivara Won 7-2 on aggregate![](http://img69.imageshack.us/img69/3685/csklineupsam6.th.jpg) AZ had the better of the play and possession for nearly all the game but they couldn't break us down. We killed them off with two breakaway goals; first on 31 when a break down the right wing saw Book Mark collect the ball, cut inside and then send over a low cross to the unmarked Capstan Full Strength he had the easiest task to tap in from 6 yards. The second goal, on 87, saw One In A Bed Sex Romp pushed over i n the area following a break down the left. Freeview Channel 19 converted from the spot. The £450k prize money for progressing to the EURO Cup Group stages is a nice bonus, but the draw is a fairly tough one, other teams in our group are: Valencia, AEK Athens, Slavia Prague and St Etienne. We could get a couple of wins out of the group with a bit of luck and finish third. CSK Pivara 5 vs 2 Zemun, League![](http://img126.imageshack.us/img126/4996/csklineupskw7.th.jpg) The first half romp starts with a strike by Freeview Channel 19 from 22 yards, the keeper parries and Chave's Story mops up from 12 yards. Zemun strike back quickly when, on 16, Kocic mops up a defenders deflection from 6 yards. We are back in the lead within 5 minutes as Our Kid feeds a ball through the middle and Capstan Full Strength calmly guides the ball past the keeper from 18 yard for his 5th of the season. On 38, T' Hat Box's chipped cross is headed in by Chave's Story from 6 yards and, on 45, Urgent Camel delivers a glancing header into the net from a Chave's Story near post cross. Zemun take the game to us in the second half and we struggled to continue the momentum, especially after their second goal on 47, when Kocic got behind the defence again to head in a deep cross from 6 yards. Still we weathered the storm and on 65 One In A Bed Sex Romp guided in our 5th goal after collecting a long through ball from Our Kid. The delight was oozing from The Master. The Team Of The Round included: Our Kid, T' Hat Box, Simian Wake and Carpet Slipper in the starting lineup. Our Kid won Player of the round, T' Hat Box came 3rd. Nuclear Toblerone joins the sick and wounded fro 2 months with fractured ribs. I'm thinking of asking The Master to improve the hospital facilities rather than the training facilities. The League after 10 games:![](http://img450.imageshack.us/img450/9108/cskleagueql4.th.jpg)

Interesting, I've just noticed that Zenum have the same WDL record as Borac but are below them even though they have a miles better goal difference. Doesn't that count in Serbia then?
Cue name change to Aardvark or something.

Buducnost 0 vs 2 CSK Pivara, League![](http://img101.imageshack.us/img101/2763/csklineupsue7.th.jpg) It took us a little while to get going but in the end this was a comfortable win. On 16, The Sacroiliac missed a spot kick after Chave's Story was brought down in the area. It was another game where the opposition had most of the possession but didn't have the skill to use it effectively, we broke the deadlock on 37, when Chave's Story chipped to the near post, Book Mark collected on the corner of the box, took one touch and drove low between the keeper and the near post for his fifth goal of the season. The game was killed off on 52 when Sad vampired hit a long ball down the left wing, Book Mark collected by the left side of the penalty area an centred for an unmarked Chave's Story to tap in his 10th goal of the season. The Master was proud of this victory for some reason even though we had had better games. Book Mark and Nano Technology made it into the Team Of The Round and Book Mark came second in The Player of The Round. We agree terms with Dnister to sign 20yo 6'0" Belarus striker Gossip Calypso for £200k, he'll join us in January. Next up an away trip to Valencia........

Valencia 2 vs 1 CSK Pivara, EURO Cup, Group Stages - Game 1![](http://img227.imageshack.us/img227/8435/csklineupsfm2.th.jpg) If we had any delusions of grandeur for this game, they were soon knocked out of us, as Valencia systematically took us apart. It's a mystery how we actually stayed close enough to think we had a chance of a draw by the closing stages. Valencia took the lead on 13 minutes with a 22 yard free kick, they doubled the lead six minutes later when their AMC glanced a header inside the near post. We adjusted our tactics a little and stemmed the overwhelming barrage enough to reach the break without conceding any more. By that time, Chave's Story had limped off with an injury, that would keep him out for the next month and, Capstan Full Strength was replaced as he had no gas left in the tank. The second period was a bit better for us, but Valencia continued to dominate thankfully they didn't continue to score. We pulled a goal back 2 minutes from time when the lively New Tricks flicked on a long ball, he turned his marker and ran onto the loose ball, shooting against the keeper, One In A Bed Sex Romp was alert for once and poked the rebound in from 12 yards.

OFK Beograd 2 vs 2 CSK Pivara, League![](http://img150.imageshack.us/img150/7421/csklineupsnl7.th.jpg) Back to the bread and butter and OFK game us another hard time, having said that we took the lead twice and threw it away twice with what can only be discribed as shocking defensive lapses of concentration. Still we came away with a point, a draw being a fair relection of two evenly matched sides. Our first goal came on 34 wh en Capstan Full Strength played teh ball to One In A Bed Sex Romp the young striker skinned his marker then chipped the keeper from a tight angle, the goal took 2nd place in the Goal of The Round awards. Beograd were level 3 minutes before teh break when Armani Reject lost the ball in the centre circle and a swift series of passes saw our defence part like the Red Sea and sucuumb to a 20 yard shot. On 70 we retook the lead when Donny Dark Hole played teh ball wide to Urgent Camel, he playe dteh ball into the box and New Tricks struck, the keeper parried and Armani Reject made amends for his earlier mistake and tapped in the loose ball. Beograd were level again on 77 with a 6 yard unchallenged header. The result was a fair one but I was still pretty unhappy that we seem to be gifting goals lately. Next up the S&M Cup trip to Srem.

At least you got the tricky game out of the way first, Coffers. It's not really that bad a result if you look at it. The others in the group may get beaten by more than one goal. :thumb:

Was it the midfield or the defense that was overwhelmed against Valencia? And what Moo said. From what I recall every one was overwhelmed really. Vaencia just launched wave after wave of attacks, we hardly got out of our half. The defence held up surprisingly well though no one covered themselves with distinction. I suspect with betetr finishing Valencia could have hammered us.
