Sutjeska 1 vs 1 CSK Pivara, LeagueI'm baffled at how we dropped any points in this one and continue to be baffled how crap teams continue to nick points off us, even when we pulverise them. Sutjestka were hammered in the first period and hung on to take the game to 0-0 at the break. We scored 4 minutes into the second half when Donny Dark Hole laid the ball back for The Sacroilliac to blast the opener from 25 yards. From that moment on there was only going to be one winner, except we didn't capitalise on our possession or on shot on target and 2 minutes from the end of the game we paid the price. A move down their right saw us nicely sleeping an unresponsive to the danger, the ball found it's way into the area and Djurovic hit the ball inside the keeper and the right hand post. I was bloody fuming and there were a few angry words exchanged after the game. The League Table:

Nice table. I bet your LAC group table looks as picturesque, especially after your awesome form in it recently :thumb:
Are you going to be asking for a stadium upgrade, or are your crowd figures pitiful?

I might ask towards the end of this season, I'll wait to see if the attendances stay at a decent level. It's the first season we've had more than 1,000 per game except for S&M Cup games, where attendances remain pitiful.

So he's back in training already? He's well hard.
Great progression, Coffers. Just getting past one round of Euro cmopetition would please me, never mind getting through the group stages too. And that league table is awesome.

CSK Pivara 1 vs 1 OFK Beograd, S&M Cup Qtr Final - Lost 4-2 on PenaltiesWe seem to be struggling to score goals in games that we dominate and this was one of those games. We opened easily enough on 8 minutes when a Bubbly Ant headed flick on was met by New Tricks 8 yards out, he'd got between the keeper and the last defender and head into the left corner of the net. We then proceeded to assault OFK without damaging them in a meaningful way. OFK equalised with 3 minutes of the game remaining when Carpet Slipper failed to deal with a through ball and was turned by the attacker he was marking. OFK scored 4 out of 5 penalties taken, only missing number 2. We missed 2 of the 4 that we took, numbers 1 (Yo Bro) and 3 (New Tricks). So after winning the Cup 3 years on the trot, we are out of it, and I feel gutted. CSK Pivara 1 vs 3 Juventus, Champions Cup - Grp G - Game 5What can I say; "we played like a bunch of degenerates that had just fallen out of a pub", but that would be an insult to a Sunday League team. Juventus took 33 minutes to open the scoring, Labriola taking advantage of slack marking in the area. A half time roasting ensued and it instilled a bit of life into the team, enough life for Yo Bro to crack a 22 yard curler on 47 for the equaliser. Steady lads I called, don't do anything stupid now, but that fell on deaf ears; on 66, Yo Bro decided to make amends fro his goal and passed across our area to Levitating Ski Run, only our keeper was marked by 3 of their players, guess who won the contest, yes Juve, we were 2-1 down in the blink of an eye. Marco Ricci made it 3-1 with ten minutes to go as surrounded by no less than 4 defenders and the keeper he rose to head in a free kick from the right. I wouldn't have minded losing if we had turned up and tried to play. I felt that the team seems to have lost interest in playing at the moment. Perhaps it's down to the number who won't sign new contracts. OFK Beograd 0 vs 4 CSK Pivara, LeagueNow why couldn't we play like this in the Cup, after the rollicking I gave them in the last game, the team decided to play this week. To be honest it was more even than the cup game, but our strikers were up to scratch, OFK's finishing was wayward. The opener came on 14 when The Sacroilliac hit a 30 yard belter from the left side of the field. Bubbly Ant got the second on 41 after being played behind the defence by Angel Japes. On 49, Angel Japes once again played a ball behind the defence and Bubbly Ant benefited by placing the ball to the keepers left. On 56, Scratch Mark played a ball towards the penalty spot and New Tricks got up to head the fourth goal in off the left post. At last we had something to cheer again. Rad 0 vs 0 CSK Pivara, LeagueWe're back to square one, a awful game against relegation threatened Rad. They even had a player sent off after 53 minutes and we couldn't do anything. On 77 I thought we had been saved when we got a dubious penalty, but yo Bro hit it straight at the keeper. They've bloody well given up. FC Bayern 1 vs 0 CSK Pivara, Champions Cup - Grp G - Game 6Murdered but got away with a 1-0 scoreline. Bayern opened on 4 when they walked around our defence and centered fro Marcelo to head in despite the close attention of Simian Wake trying to put the attacker off by scratching his balls or something. that was it we were dead in the water and failed to do anything meaningful all match, apart from stopping them from scoring again that is. Thank Goodness we had already qualified 2 games before this one. We finished top of the group despite losing the last two games. CSK Pivara 0 vs 0 Partizan, LeagueWe actually played well in this game and did everything but score, but then again so did Partizan. The result was fair, but I'm now scratching my head wondering what to do about this sudden dip in form. Things aren't going to well at the moment, we're missing Book mark definitely and confidence seems shot, thankfully it's the midwinter break, so we can work on that with a load of friendlies against shoite opposition. I've a feeling the team entering a transition stage at the moment, four first teamers, Levitating Ski Run, Urgent Camel, New Tricks and Carper Slipper are refusing to extend contracts which only have 6 months to run). A number of fringe players (7 in all), who I would like to build on for the future, have gone all moody as they want more first team football. There may be a lot of changes over the coming summer period, if this carries on much longer. But we have one friendly in December to contend with: Vlasina 0 vs 4 CSK Pivara, FriendlyGoals by Molotov Cocktail (5), Gossip Calypso (22 & 28) and The Sacroilliac (26) ease us to victory in a totally one-sided game. As the mid winter break bites we bite on a Bosser or two and a mass of friendlies, to keep our hands in so to speak. First up the Bossers:
Heavy Petting a 17yo Serb MLC standing 5'11" in his stocking feet, he'll join at the end of June from Hadjuk Lion. A possible for the future. Missing Fjord a 17yo 6'0" Serb MRC who will also join at the end of June from Mladost (A) U19's. Jumanji Invalid a 23yo 5'11" Serb Striker, who joins from Obilic in early July.
Now for an absolute shed load of friendlies which in the main we won easily, there are odd comments on games that I thought might have been significant:
Tour Of Cyprus APEP 0 vs 6 CSK Pivara AEK Larnakas 0 vs 4 CSK Pivara Aris L 0 vs 4 CSK Pivara Pafos 0 vs 5 CSK Pivara
CSK Pivara 2 vs 1 Middlesbrough; I allowed the ass-man to pick the team and formation he lined up a 5-3-2 affair with a deep sweeper in the back three. We were 1-0 down at the break but goals from Yo Bro (50) and Gossip calypso (82) ensured the win.
Tour Of Azerbaijan FC Genclerbirliyi Sumgayit 0 vs 7 CSK Pivara Karvan 0 vs 4 CSK Pivara Xazar 0 vs 4 CSK Pivara
A Bunch of One Off's CSK Pivara 1 vs 2 CSKA Moscow; a game that naffed me off no end as we dominated and lost something we should have won by a street. CSKA scored two in the first half and our consolation was netted on 87 by AC Adaptor.
CSK Pivara 5 vs 0 Dinamo Kiev
At this point we sign a new AM/FC, Newer Car, from Dinamo Kiev Reserves for £350k, he's a 22yo from Burundi, who stands 5'11" tall has 18 caps with 3 goals and looks damned useful apart from his natural fitness.
Begej 0 vs 7 CSK Pivara; the final friendly game designed to boost confidence in the event of defeats in the previous two games. Newer car plays a blinder, scoring one goal and assisting in two. I just hope he can do the business against better opposition.
I nearly forgot, One In A Bed Sex Romp leaves the club heading for Romanian 1st division side FCM Bacau for a fee of £8k plus tips. and just before the first league game, after the winter break,we negotiate the signing of 18yo Latvian AM/RC/FC Last Rites, from Bulgarian A Group side Drogrudzah, for a fee equal to around £625k, he's 5'11" and will, I'm sure be a belter. He'll join on 1st June.

That's a cracking couple of tables you've got above. The friendlies look like a very good block of confidence building too. It also seems you've had fun on the transfer market too.
As to having ditched the challenge, I've shelved it temporarily, as I have to work a lot harder on that game than the other, and sitting in ordinary chairs causes me to be in pain.

Back to the league season: Before the season started again I took the opportunity to promote some youth players, who had shone like shining beacons during the friendly games, into the first team. They are Verruca (MC) and Mirror In The Bathroom (MLC), the latter of which seems about to oust Arm & Legs from the Left side of midfield starting spot. CSK Pivara 5 vs 0 Jedinstvo (BP), LeagueA complete walkover, the scoring was opened by Bubbly Ant diverting a ball the keeper was going for goal-wards, it trickled over the line with the keeper completely out of position, Angel Japes had hit the original ball towards the left side of the goal. Gossip Calypso doubled the lead on 32 prodding the ball in from close range after an Urgent Camel shot caused a goalmouth melee. Three minutes later, Urgent Camel hit a low cross to the near post and Gossip Calypso clipped the ball in for his second of the game. On 62 Gossip Calypso had his hat-trick chipping the advancing keeper from 30 yards after collecting a clearance from Simian Wake. Jedinstvo were reduced to ten men on 79 as a defender was red carded for a cynical foul and on 86, debutant Newer Tricks headed home his first competitive goal from 4 yards following a cross from Scratch Mark. Chelsea 1 vs 1 CSK Pivara, Champions Cup, Knockout Stages, Rnd 1 - 1st LegWhat can I say, we were battered but with help from some decent defensive tactics and a great display by goalie, Levitating Ski Run, we held the English giants to a creditable draw. Chelsea scored first after 21 minutes when Mullard beat Yak Tart to the ball and hit a stinging shot inside the left post, I suspect our keeper was unsighted. We battled hard defensively and got a nice reward on 61, when Yak Tart headed a ball clear, Gossip Calypso flicked the ball on over the defence from around the half way line, the Chelsea keeper came rushing out and missed the ball completely leaving Bubbly Ant to rush past and play the ball into the net from 30 yards. There was one last piece of action on 90, Chelsea broke through the middle and in order to prevent an almost certain winner, Yak Tart hacked down Mullard from behind, gaining himself a red card and a suspension for the return leg. Chelsea probably deserved a win, but didn't make enough of their chances. I feel we'll miss Yak Tart in a big way for the 2nd leg. It was about this time that a couple of the contract rebels decided that now was the time to stop rebelling, New Tricks and Urgent Camel both signed up for another 3 years, bless them. That leaves Levitating Ski Run and Carpet Slipper counting the days down to the end of June. CSK Pivara 2 vs 0 Smederevo, LeagueSmederevo were bottom of the league and did the usual of trying to bottle the game up to stop us scoring, for once it didn't work. Gossip Calypso opened on 23 cracking an angled shot in off the right post, Bubbly Ant had broken down the left and provided the cross. We made hard work of killing the game off and it took until the 76th minute for our second goal to come in the form of a Yo Bro penalty after Bubbly Ant had been hacked down by a professional foul, for which the defender saw red. Zemun 1 vs 4 CSK Pivara, LeagueOn an ice bound pitch the game panned out fairly evenly until Zemun went down to 10 men, on 25, for a holding job on Yo Bro as he moved in on goal. The first goal came on 34 when Yo Bro flicked on a throw in leaving Bubbly Ant unmarked and with a simple task of filling the onion bag. On the hour mark, Gossip Calypso broke down the right and crossed for Yo Bro to head in from 6 yards out. A New Tricks penalty on 72 made it three after the striker himself had been adjudged to have been tripped, though the pundits reckon it was a bit harsh. Zemun pulled a goal back on 76 with a 25 yard curler that left the defence looking bemused. Two minutes later Urgent Camel intercepted a pass in the centre circle and his first time ball put Newer Car on track for goal, he didn't run for long as he saw the keeper off the line he hit the ball from 25 yards and saved his legs a bit of running. CSK Pivara 2 vs 2 Chelsea, Champions Cup, Knockout Stages, Rnd 1 - 2nd Leg, LOST on Away GoalsOh what might have been; we stormed into a 2 goal lead in this, Bubbly Ant heading the opener on 12 following a great cross from Urgent Camel. The second came on 23 when Urgent Camel took advantage of a poor first touch by a centre back to nick the ball and lob the stranded keeper from 30 yards out. That was when things went downhill. Chelsea upped the tempo and pressure and we slowly buckled. They pulled a goal back on 40 when a fast break ended in Torres shooting, Ski Run parrying and Mullard blasting in the loose ball. If we could have got to half time I felt we would have beaten then, but we didn't on both counts. Their second goal came on 62 when Torres got behind the defence to meet a deep cross and slash in with some real venom. We piled a load of pressure on their defence in the last ten minutes looking for one more goal but it didn't come. We missed Yak Tart badly, Simian Wake was also suspended. It was a brave effort, but that's it now we only have the league to play for. CSK Pivara 3 vs 2 Red Star, LeagueWhat better way to follow up a defeat by meeting Red Star . We started well again, Urgent Camel intercepted a pass across the middle of the field and played a first time ball towards Bubbly Ant, the striker looked up and hit the ball first time from 30 yards, beating the defence and keeper all ends up. The game remained tight but after a half time pep talk the second half opened with a bang, a lovely flowing move down our left ended with Yo Bro crossing to the near post and Newer Car glancing a header in between the keeper and his right hand post, the clock showed 49 minutes. Then we had a touch of deja vu as Red Star pulled a goal back on 55 and equalised with a Nouvelle Cuisine own goal on 69, they were doing a Chelsea and piling on pressure giving us very little time to draw breath. But we gradually pulled ourselves back into the game and with 30 seconds of normal time remaining Urgent Camel was tripped in the area, The Sacroilliac converted the spot-kick and the game was won. There was still time for us to break through the middle again and see a Red Star man sent off for a professional foul, the the resulting 35 yard free kick came to nothing as we ran the clock down. T' Hat Box has agreed terms with Buducnost, he'll join them at the end of the season for a fee of around £50k. The League Table after 21 games:

Borac 2 vs 2 CSK Pivara, LeagueIt was our turn to play like complete and utter pantfishes in the early part of the game; Borac took the lead as early as the 11th minute, a break through the middle, Ski Run came charging out but Popovic lobbed the ball over the keeper and ran around him, defenders were trailing in his wake as he got to th ball first and gleefully planted it in the net. Five minute later and Yo Bro pushed Jokic in the area and we were 2-0 down and looking awful. We couldn't keep the ball or pass it, even short balls were going astray so the ploy was switched to: "fooking get the ball into their area and let them fooking worry about it for a change!". We did just that on 33 and Newer Car played the final pass into the area for The Sacroilliac to pull one back from 17 yards. Borac didn't trouble us too much after that but we didn't trouble them a lot either. Finally on 62 Angel Japes delivered a corner to the edge of the 6 yard box and Gossip Calypso headed home despite being surrounded by 3 Borac defenders. That was that, Yo Bro and Go Lad Go had absolute stinkers of a game. More bad news after the game, Levitating Ski Run is injured and will miss a few weeks. CSK Pivara 2 vs 2 Hadjuk Rodik MB, LeagueThis was pitiful, Relegation threatened Hadjuk took the lead after only 45 seconds, a ball was booted into the area, more in hope than expectation, stand in keeper Extinct Bird, stood and watched as it trickled past him doing all it could to stop before it reached the goal line, a bit like our defense really. Anyhow, Damjanovic decided that walking through the defence would fool everyone into thinking he wasn't a threat, it worked as he reached the ball unchallenged and gently helped it on it's way over the goal line. Nine minutes later, Extinct Bird mishandled a diverted dolly-drop and Zivanovic nipped in to kick the ball into the net, whilst Bird scratched his non existent balls, this resulted in his immediate substitution along with Nouvelle Cuisine, They were obviously nothing more than a total waste of space and twats to boot. They were booted straight into the stiffs after the game. It took until the 36th minute for us to make any impression on the game and that was something to do with a push on Gossip Calypso in the area, Angel Japes scored from the spot. From that moment on we pounded Hadjuk with little return. With minutes remaining I threw everything at the Hadjuk defence and a breakthrough came 30 seconds from the end of normal time, Yo Bro hit a speculative ball through the middle, Molotov Cocktail collected and hit a nicely placed shot from 23 yards out, it wrong footed the keeper and gave us a point to maintain our unbeaten league record. Whilst all this points dropping was going on our nearest challengers were winning games and slowly closing the gap. Buducnost 1 vs 4 CSK Pivara, LeagueWe finally crack the mini slump and Nano Technologies new club cop it. On 2 minutes Newer car put Bubbly Ant through on goal but a last ditch tackle saw the ball roll to the keeper, he mis-controlled and Bubbly Ant prodded the ball in before the keeper could recover. On 16, Angel japes put a neat ball through for Bubbly Ant to wrong foot the keeper from 8 yards. Buducnost pulled a goal back on 48 as they walked through our increasingly pitiful defence, crossed and converted at the far post. On 55 Shurikan stole the ball following a short free kick just inside the Buducnost half, he raced away and drew the keeper before squaring the ball for Bubbly Ant to claim his hat-trick from 12 yards out. Molotov Cocktail put the icing on the cake with 6 minutes to play after Angel Japes slipped the ball inside for him to side foot home. CSK Pivara 3 vs 1 Sutjeska, LeagueWe made hard work of destroying lowly Sutjeska even though they hardly posed any threat. On 26 The Sacroilliac missed a penalty after Newer Car had dived nicely to win the spot kick. On 37 we won another spot kick, this time for hand ball, Mirror In The Bathroom strode up for this one and confidently struck his first Pivara goal. Sutjeska equalised on 53 with their only on target shot of the game, once again our defence was caught watching pigeons. A couple of substitutions on 68 breathed new life into us and within two minutes a poor Sutjeska back pass was pounced upon by Newer Car and dispatched into the net with ease. On 77 Newer Car broke down the right and crossed to the near post where Verruca clipped the ball across the keeper to register goal number three.

Partizan 3 vs 4 CSK Pivara, LeagueA hardly deserved victory, but a fantastic game for a neutral, thought there were few of those about in the Stadian FK Partizan. The opener came on 18, Mirror In the Bathroom crossed to the near post, Newer Car controlled turned his marker and smashed the ball in at the near post. Partizan were leveled on 27 when we failed to deal with a cross form the right and Vanovic hit home from close range. On 33 Urgent Camel was shoved over in the area and Y Bro scored form the spot. We held the lead less than 2 minutes as a ball was chipped into our area and Dimic lobbed our keeper from 16 yards. The game stayed level until the 69th minute, when Sunday Monday hit a deep cross and Vodovic smashed the ball in from 12 yards. We had shot our bolt or had we, With ten minutes remaining I just screamed at the idiots on the pitch to go for it; we were level within 3 minutes Yo Bro hit a speculative ball to the edge of the Partizan 6 yard box and Gossip Calypso got above the defenders to head an equaliser. Both sides would probably have settled for a point at that moment but we were still going for glory, it came in the form of a headed back pass which Yo Bro intercepted and thumped passed the stranded keeper, 92 minutes were showing on my watch. Partizan only had time to kick off again before the ref blew for full time. CSK Pivara 2 vs 1 OFK Beograd, leaguee scoreline suggested a close game and it was for once correct. On 22 Simina Wake hit a cross behind the defence and Mirror In The Bathroom stole in at the far post to smash the ball back inside the right post. On 40 a long ball down the left found Bubbly Ant he carried it for a few yard and crossed to the far post where Newer Car rose above the defenders and headed in form 6 yards. OFK battled hard to get back int he game, on 59 Yak Tart handled in the area, the penalty was saved by Modern Decoder. With 94 minutes on the clock OFK finally worked the ball into the area and made a chance count, but it was all to late, we had another 3 points. The win and other results meant that two more wins would guarentee the title regardless of how other teams did. The bad news is that Gossip Calypso brole his leg during the game and will be out for the rest of the season and possibly up to 4 months. Jedinstvo (BP) 1 vs 2 CSK Pivara, LeagueDespite the scoreline and jedinsvo possession, this was a fairly easy win. On 22 a long through ball put Newer Car away, his shot was parried out by the keeper and Bubbly Ant finished off the loose ball. ]Set Square[/b] scored the second with a 22 yard free kick on 55. Ten seconds into injury time Jedinstvo got the ball into our area and Simic claimed the consolation. Red Star the only club who could catch us drew, so our win meant we had won the SuperLeague for the 3rd time on the trot, with 5 games remaining. The League Table after 28 games:

5 Games? That means I'm dithering not far from the finish with mine :moop:
Thats some heck of some updates there Coffers, and I can feel your annoyance with that Chelsea result overall. Still, a fantastic effort to get that close against one of the teams I seem to struggle against on this game. I don't know about you, but I think those last 3 updates were fantastic.

CSK Pivara 3 vs 0 Rad, LeagueWe got off to a great start as Urgent Camel headed on a goal-kick over the Rad defence, Donny Dark Hole latched don and ran with the ball for 20 yards before unleashing a cross shot into he left corner. We controlled the game for long periods after that, but didn't double out lead until 66, an angled Urgent Camel shot was saved by their keeper but he couldn't hold onto the ball, Donny Dark Hole reacted quickest and we were 2-0 up. New Tricks fired into an empty net after good work by Molotov Cocktail and the Urgent Camel opened the Rad defence and left the keeper stranded. Smederevo 0 vs 0 CSK Pivara, Leagueneedless to say Smederevo are bottom of the league and relegation bound. I'd like to say we battered them but we didn't and they deserved their point. CSK Pivara 3 vs 0 Zemun, LeagueEasy, easy was the chant, but it took a 28th minute Yo Bro penalty to give us the initial lead, after Mirror In The Bathroom was pushed in the area. A half time chat pepped things up and straight from kick-off we had our second, Newer Car pounced on a Sacroilliac flick on to finish from 8 yards. On 51 Urgent Camel hoofed a ball upfield following a poor Zemun free-kick, the chase was on, the Zemun defender got to the ball first and fluffed his header back to the keeper, leaving Newer car with the simple task of slotting the ball past the keeper for the final goal of the game. Red Star 2 vs 5 CSK Pivara, LeagueI expected a tough game and it looked as if that's what we'd get at first. Red Star battled well Yak Tart stunned everyone on 17 with a 25 yard curler after collecting the ball from a Mirror In The Bathroom corner. On 33 a Red Star defender hit the ball back towards the keeper and as he came for it, it seemed to catch the wind and curl away from him towards the far touchline, Newer Car saw this and adjusted his run to get to the ball first, he turned and with the keeper backpedaling furiously he chipped the ball from 35 yards and it sailed gloriously into the net. tactics were adjusted as we'd been here before and blown a 2 goal lead. This time it lasted up to the 64th minute, Newer car broke down the right and fed the ball forward to Urgent Camel, the right winger took the ball to the edge of the area and crossed to the back post, where Bubbly Ant rose to head number three. The was hardly time to celebrate as Red Star stormed forward from the kick-off and pulled a goal back when the ball was crossed behind our defence and took a slight touch from their striker. It was our turn to storm forward from the kick-off and this time Mirror In The Bathroom delivered a perfect near post cross for Bubbly Ant to flick in from a tight angle. Quick change of tactics so as to not get caught again. We didn't straight away but on 72 Red Star broke down our left wing and delivered a good cross to the edge of the box, Grujic stuck his boot out and it was 4-2. We killed the game from that point, but still managed another goal on 87, Donny Dark Hole played a ball inside to Urgent Camel his forward pass was hit first time, from 22 yards, by New Tricks it fooled everyone and we were 5-2 up. It's always nice to beat Red Star and I did a bit of taunting after the game. CSK Pivara 2 vs 1 Borac, LeagueThe last game of the season was a bit of a non-entity, a lot of players were away on U21 duty so the odd youngster or two got a chance to show what they could do. On 4 minutes, Sarcasm Soiled chipped a ball into the area and Donny Dark Hole met it unchallenged to put us into an early lead. The game was scrappy to say the least and neither side really imposed themselves on the game, but on 35 Borac put a good move together and got the ball into the area from the right, Granheim took the pass and placed the ball across Ski Run for the equaliser. We were better in the second half but it took a 70th minute Yo Bro penalty to win the game, after Newer car was tripped in the area. It was nice to go the entire season without losing a league game, the average age of the squad that won the league title was 22 years old. There has been a bit of movement in the transfer market two, with Angel Japes still moaning about not been allowed to leave, he went AWOL from training was hit with a 2 weeks wages fine and offered around. He's subsequently on his way back to Red Star for £2.4M plus 30% of any future transfer fee, not bad considering we got him from them for nothing two seasons ago. Extinct Bird is expected to leave soon for £26k plus 30%, he's negotiating with Botev (Plovdiv) and Beroe. Bubbly Ant won't extend his contract and reckons he wants a bigger club, I offered him around and he moaned about me going behind his back. Anyhow the upshot is he's negotiating with Koln, for a fee that should work out at around £5M in the end, ie. £3.4M plus a wodge if they sell him on. Off Key Kazoo is going to Vihren for zilch apart from a sell on clause. On the incoming side, we've agreed to buy Stand Fast a 21yo 5'11" Serb goalie from Partizan for £500k. He'll join on 1st June. End of Season Awards:SuperLeague Player of the Year 1st: Yo Bro, 2nd: Urgent Camel. Team Of The Season: Simian Wake, Yak Tart, Scratch Mark, Urgent Camel, The Sacroilliac, Yo Bro, Bubbly Ant. Go Lad Go got a place on the bench. Young Player of the Season: 1st: Bubbly Ant, 2nd: The Sacroilliac. As expected I too the Manager of the Season Award. The board have given me a transfer budget for the coming season of £7.25M with a salary budget of £500k per month. They are a little peeved at me though because I accidentally expressed an interest in the vacant Zenith St Petersburgh job. Chelsea won the Champions Cup Final 1-0 against Monoco. Juventus beat Marseille 5-0 in the EURO Cup Final. Partizan won the S&M Cup on penalties against Rad. Our Reserves won their league by 20 points and the U19's were champions of their league too but their point gap was only 6 points. The Final 2009/2010 League Table:This game is now benched for the foreseeable future.

That's a pretty table you've posted there. It's also not a bad way to end the season too, especially if your benching the game. It'd be interesting to play up until you know what happens in the LAC, but this could be exceedingly frustrating if your already that way feeling with the game.

The biggest frustration is that despite doing so well the better player understandably want to move to bigger clubs, which usually starts to undermine the team halfway through the season. I think that's why we bombed in the Cup this year, too many whingers underperforming. The board won't budge on that one last step up in training facilities, so I continue to get shoite youngsters, who in the main will never be good enough to grace the reserves let alone the first team. The 13yo who I signed in the first season against the then Ass-man's wishes is now 18 and looking as if he could break into the first team soon, if we didn't have a surplus of decent DM's sat in front of him.

Gotta love the kids.

Anyhoo, I understand your decision to bench the game though, Serbia is a bit frustrating, especially the bigger club thing. Ah well, as usual an excellent read, Coffers and here's hoping you can pick yourself up for a crack at something else sooner rather than later.

I'll probably dabble with the Barrow thread and I've an inkling to have a go at MTW or Rome TW, when I can find the disks to do a re-install.

Nice. The Barrow thing was what I was thinking of actually. :thumb:

I did play one Barrow game last night and managed another at lunch today, the quality at this level is total garbage, but I'd forgotten how much I was enjoying the trip.
I don't think I felt at any point that I was enjoying the S&M challenge to be honest, I'm not sure why though.

Oh I did run the game on a bit through the close season to see what happened in the European rankings: we moved up from 90th position to 60th as a result of our exploits in the LAC. Juventus were ranked number 1. The board gave me £11M for transfers, which will buy a lot of players but, the ones we want aren't interested. The new influx of youngsters were complete and utter garbage. That's it though, the interest levels have completely gone.

Nice try. I hate having all that money to spend and no-one to give it too. You'd think there'd be a gold digger or two out there :checkit:
