And I didn't mean to diss the cheese, coffs, it's just that I have a different type of cheese. Toni Basil, for instance. Rednex (oh yes, weep into your beards/beers). Et-thetera. No offence taken as it is truely crap. But it was mentioned as it tends to get things started, a couple of suitable cheeses and then you can move up a gear and keep things rolling. Keep some in reserve for when thing's look like tailing off.

I'm not sure, but I can't imagine Pops donning the white gloves and smilie face t-shirts and going for Voodoo Ray. I'd love to see it though. I'd pay to see it I was too young to club at the time they were out (being only 8) but I did love them dearly for all the pops and whistles. I played so much CM (and crappy Amstrad, Spectrum and Commodore football managing games) to them that often I was humming incoherent looped lyrics for weeks afterwards. Ahhh-ah-ahahah-aha-ahaha-ah-ah-ah-ah I have no idea what she meant to sing, but that's what it sounded like.

The new version is truly horrible.
I remember seeing him on TOTP in his pyjamas and horrible spiky mullet on his heed. Horrible.

I do actually have a few of those compilatory cheese albums, moo. Including one called "cheese party" or somesuch. Sounds like an enhanced swingers party, TBH. Scotland... sheesh...

I guess Dave didn't understand my post either.
If you were easily accessible, I'd be sending you all mixtapes often. I still could, but that would require an address to send them too. I often hand them out to those I know. Though those are more about a group of songs that I like and fit together. I hope to introduce people to knew artists. I always ask for feedback, though sometimes it is hard to get as people just say they like a certain percentage of the disc, and you can only take so much from that.

I guess Dave didn't understand my post either. Nah, I just didn't see your post until after I put mine up. You have to remember, I was busy dancing away to Nakotomi and co for 20 minutes before posting it.

You have to remember, I was busy dancing away to Nakotomi and co for 20 minutes before posting it. Fair enough. My invitation to posting mixtapes is still open if you all want. I can't guarantee that you will like them, but you might find something that you do and have never heard before. And you might even like them to my bonus. My only ask is that you say what you think about them. Though that isn't compulsory either.

What about The Chiefs? I Predict A Riot should be on there. Man the girls love The Chiefs. You can throw in Hot Hot Heat too! I'd have thrown in a bunch of Aussie stuff but I'm not sure how much that would be know and given the time it deserves.

Some Aussie chick sent me a Powderfinger tape back in the late 90s. They were half-decent, from what I remember.

What about The Chiefs? I Predict A Riot should be on there. I'd go with Every Day I Love You Less And Less because I tend to start pogoing in my seat when it comes on, but that works too. :humb:

Either's good. I actually like the newer albums more too, but those two are classic "I can't stop moving. And I like it!" efforts.

I think I'll broach the subject of how to send you all mixtapes tomorrow when I can spell without having to delete often, and my grammer is slightly better. Grammar even.
Are you interested?

Send me a tape, Sonic. If it's anywhere near as good as Narkle's mix tapes, it'll hang around in my car stereo for years.

I know you don't like motown Pops, but you really should have this one in:
Dancing In The Street - Martha Reeves & The Vandellas

I know you don't like motown Pops, but you really should have this one in: Dancing In The Street - Martha Reeves & The Vandellas I thought I'd covered that earlier? Short version: No you shouldn't, if only because Nowhere To Run has never been homoerotically covered by David Bowie and Mick Jagger.

So it goes. Did you happen to catch Martha Reeves on Jools' Hootenanny this year? Ye gods. I realise she's a legend and all, and that she's about 70 now but someone should have realised that her voice had completely gone before they agreed to let her sing. Three times.
