Started both for the draft, (which I'm going to), and for this picture.

Tomohawk™!
Also, WTF is Billy doing? Not trading out of the 1st round? He's been replaced.
Much like both knees of the guy we picked. :moop:

Mayock gave our pick his lowest score of the first round. So that's nice.

The Colts first rounder went on Trent Richardson so, really, nobody who got to take a real life potential football player with their first round pick gets to complain.

Tintins appearance in the first post makes me cry for the inevitable reimagining retcon reboot of the franchise.

Just listening to the NE Patriots podcast and one of the guys said about Aaron Hernandez:
"He went into prison a Tight End and now he's a Wide Receiver!"
IGFLITO and imminent sacking.

So this ad just aired during the NBA finals.
Snyder could gain a lot of benefit by just embracing this movement. It's come up before, but then sort of gone away. It doesn't seem to be going away anymore.. it's just constantly bubbling under.

Snyder will dig his heels in. Can you see him doing anything else, really?

I really can't. He'll probably be the last owner of the team with that name too, so he'll be remembered as the last one to cling onto it.

Ian-terestingly, the US Patent and Trademark office just removed its approval for the "Redskin" name, as it fails the tests around being offensive to groups.
That doesn't mean Snyder, Washington and the NFL have to stop using the name now. It just means they have no legal recourse against anyone else who also uses it. I could start printing Redskin tshirts in my basement right now and there's nothing Goddel could do about it.
As a result, I predict the name will be changed by the start of the 2015 season.
Offending people? Who cares! Not earning as much money as possible? This will not stand!

Nothing under Federal law...
They could still get you under state law, common law, or just send the boys round.
Plus they'll appeal it and retain trademark protection until the appeal is finalised. So, y'know.

So would they keep their logo, just change their name, Stu?
Or is there going to be a franchise relocation just so Snyder can be a wanker. He could go to Alabama, pretty sure he could come up with a few names down there....

So would they keep their logo, just change their name, Stu? Or keep the name and change their logo to a potato. JOB. DONE.

Sexy Rexy has said that Pettine (who was Jets coach at the time) should pretty much shut his yapper. I have NFI what the hell is going on with this, although I'm pretty sure that this isn't the first time leaking of documents has happened. And I mean for teams other than New England.

Good news! Dolphins' pass rusher Dion Jordan had his four game suspension for violation of the NFL's Policy and Program on Substances of Abuse lifted as part of the NFL's new drug policy!
Bad news! Dolphins' pass rusher Dion Jordan has been banned for four games for violation of the NFL's Policy and Program on Substances of Abuse after immediately failing another test.
