Dolphins 1-0 Jets 1-0 Bills 1-0 Patriots 0-1 Wat. At least regular service has been resumed. Dolphins are seriously considering starting Matt Moore this weekend en Londres. Regardless of whoever we start, if we can't beat the Raiders 8,500 miles from their natural home we should just fold the team.

Sometimes entertaining sports blowhard Bill Simmons has been suspended by ESPN after he used his podcast to call Roger Goodell a liar for his actions around the Ray Rice incident. Simmons then dared ESPN to punish him for saying so. "The suspension given to Simmons by ESPN for criticizing Goodell is actually one week longer than the original suspension given to Rice for knocking out his girlfriend in an Atlantic City elevator."

I listen to the BS Report, purely for Cousin Sal as I think his impression of Bill is more entertaining than the real thing.
He did sound harsh on Big Roger though.

Well, Kirk Cousins really shit the bed last night.
They moved all the thursday night games this year to be divisional games, in the hope that would actually make them competitive.
Nope.

Thursday night football is just miserable for everyone involved.

Jesus.
I thought the Patriots were less than stellar this year, but after Oakland last week and the humping last night, I might have to review my thoughts.

Brady looked worse in that game than he did in the opening post of this thread. Listening to the New England sports radio post-game knee-jerkathon was a little ridiculous though.
It's amazing how quickly a fan base can forget what it's like to be a actual bad team, instead of one that makes the playoffs every year but doesn't always win the superbowl.

Bunch of idiots. I heard one of the Patriots.com pods this week, you'd think the sky was falling.

The NFL should hand out some sort of award to any neutral fan who sits through a Thursday night game. The smallest winning margin on a Thursday this year is 20 points.
They either need to work out a way to give Thursday games to teams coming off their bye, or just drop the idea.

Jets and Patriots are on there soon. I'll be surprised if the total points is 20, never mind the gap.

Last year the Seahawks traded 2013 first and seventh round picks and a 2014 third-round pick to the Vikings for Percy Harvin.
Today they traded Harvin to the Jets for a conditional mid-round draft pick.
If he goes lights out for the Jets, then Seattle might get a second round pick in return.
I know the Jets carried a lot of cap space through the off season, but at 1-6, this seems like an odd move. They're not exactly one wide receiver away from anything.

I guess the cost of acquisition of Harvin is low enough that even if he's not going to change anything short term, you're getting a potentially great player for very little.
Plus if Smith can't get anything going with Ivory, Harvin, Decker and Amaro, they can finally confirm he's bunk and draft someone not shit.

Well, Dalton was an absolute tyre fire last night. His passer rating was lower than the number of interceptions he threw.

Jeff Fisher sent six Rams players to midfield for the coin toss in today's victory over Washington.
They were the six players the Rams acquired with the draft picks obtained in the RGIII trade.

Well played Jeff.
Also, you heard it here first... The Jets to trade away their 1st rd pick to Washington for Robert Griffin and the Redskins to waste it.

I turned off the Patriots game. You're welcome.

Thank you, sir!
If I were a neutral, I would have really enjoyed that game, it was that good. As a non-neutral, I was swearing (YA RLY!) and fist-pumping in turn.
