Bill Belichick does a weekly in-studio interview with WEEI and I always listen to it. It's only 10-15 minutes long, but it always makes me smile as to how long it must feel for the interviewers.

The Colts o-line isn't as bad as last season, but it's still abysmal.

Richardson to Colts. For a first round pick I think the Colts could have done better. I know Richardson is meant to be great, but barring his "tough running" he hasn't looked particularly great. For a cloud of dust and 3 yards they could have signed half a dozen halfbacks.
Still, it helps the Colts out of a hole.
Not sure what it does for the Browns, or how it'll help Weeden and the few marquee players they have (they must have some).

It's a purely defensive move. By handing off to Richardson to get tackled for a loss, the Colts avoid Luck taking sacks.

So the Browns traded three draft picks to move up one spot and select Richardson #3 overall and then not two years later trade him away for a first that's like to be somewhere from #18-#23.
Is it possible for both teams to lose a trade?

It's very strange. THere has to be something else in this, Shirley?

It's clearly possible for one team to lose multiple trades.
Sometimes I think the NFL would be better served calling in administrators for failing franchises like we do Hospitals.

Is it possible for both teams to lose a trade? I think the Browns lost the first trade, but won the second. They'd have only got a third rounder for him after the end of the season. He's completely average.

I have NFI what is going on, Stu, but it's nice to see, selfishly because it'll hopefully spur my lot on to not be a bunch of complacent twats.
In related news, I know we're 3-0, but I can easily see us going 0-3 in the next run.

Hornet - as our resident Jets fan, what's your view on your them? 2-1, but is that a bit misleading?

Ryan's got the D playing well again, by all accounts.

WHisper it, but so has Billy. THese next three games will test that though and if they can play reasonably well we have a chance of pinching a game or two, but we need Tom to stop being mean to the rookies.

Cris Carter, still ridiculous today.
Looks like he's picking the ball off a table.
Adam Shefter... not quite so cool.

Carter did have ridiculous hands. Still remember a couple of his tip toes on the line, reaching out of bounds grabs. Accuracy from the QB not essential.

Beast mode.
Just listened to him on Mike and Mike saying he's actually right-handed, but catching with his left to give Keyshawn a chance. Sheesh.

Why do they shout so much? Because Jets and Dolphins fans are call canutes. Didn't you want to reply to those, Stu? I don't hang out in Oakland threads. I don't want to get beaten up.

Went to bed around 11, woke up at 245, wasn't going to go watch the Patriots game until tonight, but remembered the Newcastle game is on, so watched the Patriots game through till around 5am, I was up again at 630 to go to work. I'm knackered. Now, I thought it was a very good game, it seemed to last a long time and I was conscious that the way Sky recording works, it doesn't always extend the show times on live sport. So we're down to the last play of the game, Atlanta on 4th down, around the 10 yd line, Ryan escapes a defender, loops the ball to the end zone, receiver and defender jump for it and.... END PROGRAMME. I had to go to the NFL app to find out the score.

DRAMA! I didn't watch it, because the finale of Breakig Bad was on. I saw about 15 minutes of the Chefs-Gnats game, but that was all the football I saw, because work and kids etc. Hopefully I'll get to watch tonight's game.
