I fucking hope so. Their Hockey game is a mess, but the baseball game is pretty good for a sport I don't like.

Looks ianteresting. Depends on how they intend to price it. Hopefully none of this incremental payment bullshit.

I still hold out some hope for the hockey game but the first iteration (and patches) haven't filled some of the bigger holes by all accounts. And that is a shame, because as you say, Stu, the baseball game is supposed to be superb.

I remember Francis from testing days of old. Know nothing of his developer skills.

Eugh, I feel terrible today. Might just lie around on the couch and watch whatever's on TV, don't think I can face work.

What a terrible fucking game. No more football for seven months and this is how we have to end.

Considering there were 50+ points in the game, I didn't enjoy it. There was only one team in it and Pete Carroll is a smug cunt at the best of times.

MIchael Sam, a draft prospect, has announced to the world he is gay. THis is a big thing in professional sports.
So come on, NFL owners, who is brave enough?

More importantly - what the fuck is up with the Browns.

I think there's some genuine questions over whether Sam is good enough for the NFL, but hopefully he gets a shot with someone.

Further to the Extra Point discussions and moving it back to be a 43 yarder - where does that put field goals if they're kicked from less than 43 yards? Are they also a 'gimme' that need to be made more exciting?
Nice to see they progressed to more logical solutions, but they're still as mad as a bag of spiders.

Yeah, I don't get it. I've just thought of something with the FGs. I would leave the PATs alone, they're fine. I would change the points for FGs making it 2 pts for anything snapped within the 15 yd line, 3 pts for within the 30 yd line and 4 pts for anything beyond the 30 yd line.
Essentially a sliding scale of FG points based on length of kick (approx within 30 yds, 30-45 yds and 45+ yds).
Looking at it, it's not as stupid as the tuck rule.

So can anyone actually explain why the Buccs gave away a first round pick for Revis, only to release him?

Cap space?
New England don't like to spend his sort of money on a corner, but it'd be interesting to see if they'd step in after Denver stole Talib.
Best thing about early free agency is the Cowboys having to dump cap too. Jerry Jones is such a cluster and he keeps blaming everyone else. Couldn't happen to a nicer team.

But why a first rounder if Cap was going to be the issue?

I don't think it's so much a they couldn't afford him cap space issue, more a they didn't think he fit their scheme cap space issue.
ie. if you're going to spend $16m cap space on a corner, he better be elite in a Cover 2.
They gambled a year ago, it didn't work out, now they're cutting their losses.
