I've been infecting all and sundry with The National. They're very good. My favourite song keeps switching around, but at the moment I think it's Ada. Same here. But I always go back to the LOUD Apartment Story.

Precisely.
"I'll get money, I'll get funny again"
Although "you know I dreamed about you, 29 years before I met you" are still my favourite lines from Slow Show.

Aye, that's why I won't suggest that song to any lasses. So I can bust out that line on them and pretend to be cool.
It might work.

I've all the National Albums, but for some reason just don't find I can sit down and listen to them one repeat. Great album they released last year, but it's the best of their 3 albums, I think, they have. I've been llistening to Jill Scott, Julie Driscol and will be listening to more of Miss Kitten(generally to see what she's like ).

The whole shebang has already been worth the effort with the discovery of Hard-Fi, Camera Obscura and Of Montreal.

Of Montreal are well-worthy of a :humb: indeed.
"Heimdalsgate Like a Promethean Curse" is one of those songs. It's just amazing.

Of Montreal are possibly my favourite "band I found that everyone likes now" ever.

The whole shebang has already been worth the effort with the discovery of Hard-Fi, Camera Obscura and Of Montreal. :humb: Hard-Fi might be me, and Camera Obscura is probably me too. I've listened to a bit of them recently. Hard-Fi for me are one who have songs that are good, and the rest I'm not so bothered about. Until something jumps at me. Hard To Beat by Hard-Fi is a cracking pulsing tune :thumb:

I've never heard of The National :moop: I've pleased with the discovery of Camera Obscura and Boy Kill Boy, so kudos to whomever the genius who played it

I loves me some Camera Obscura. Pity no Lloyd, I'm Ready To Be Heartbroken on lastFM, though.

I was enjoying listening to "My Recommendations" radio station until I got the message "Not enough content to play this station" after about an hour.
The Divots' Radio doesn't seem to play more than the same dozen artists.
So it's on to Neighbours Radio. Hopefully Harold won't be the DJ.

I've been finding odd things not appearing in my just listened to list. Odd in that what has been listened too didn't appear.

Sonic- the lists sometimes just stop recording what you've listened to. If you want it to reflect recent listens, you need to close the player and start again.

For a moment, I read the title to this thread as:
"Nick Berry Fight Club" and it made infinitely more sense, and had greater appeal.

The first rule of Nick Berry Fight Club is that you fight Nick Berry. Nobody really cares what the second rule of Nick Berry Fight Club is.

That you do not talk how you beat Nick Berry in his Fight Club.

Well. Last.fm has achieved a goal from my point of view- I ordered Decoration's album from amazon last night on the strength of hearing them on Last.fm.
£7.99 lighter in the pocket, joyfully richer in the ear.
And I urge you to listen to Elbow's new album, The Seldom Seen Kid- it is awesome in the awe-st sense of the word. Beautiful.
"So throw those curtains wide- one day like this a year would see me right..."
