I've "reached my limit on free plays of Decoration's track 'Pine'" - bostords.
:moop:

Does that only last for a limited time, the free plays not being free? Or is it a permanent thing?

Goes well with your favourite football club. No argument from me.

Decoration - another great discovery. Ok then, sounding like the Wedding Present is fair enough by me. But do you really have to try and impersonate David Gedge's every vocal mannerism as well?

He's like the bastard lovechild of Paul Heaton and Gedge.

For some reason reminds me of Peter Gabriel.

I hope Meej doesn't find this thread. All this paying actual money for stuff will send him to an early grave.

The Rifles is good- very Libertinesy.
Haven't seen Marilyn's efforts yet.

Aye, I loiked the guitary bit on the Rifles quite a lot. I'm a sucker for that sort of thing. Probably couldn't bear to listen to it more than 5 times or so but that works for me. Can't be bothered listening to the other one. For some inexplicable reason.

And Decoration come storming into number one spot on my Artists' charts, unsurprisingly, me being a faddist and all that. Still, fantastic album. The charts are very interesting actually. Except the tracks' charts, which are skewed horribly if you listen to the playlist more than once a week. Still, my latest pimping is for www.last.fm/music/Sons+and+Daughters/This+GiftTop band and this latest album is the best yet. Listen.

Sons and Daughters are mint.
Windows Media Player doesn't know about Gyroscope's latest album yet, so my attempts at scrobbling it to the top of the new music charts on last.fm are failing. Boo!

The bass player from Sons & Daughters, Ailidh, is the girlfriend of Roddy Woomble, lead singer of Idlewild. They were both here on Coll last summer for a week of holiday. She's very nice.

I liked their TV show. Especially the sepia tint on the titles.
