Were I slut I'd hang around until his manager gives him $10,000 - then use that as a basis for salary negotiations with other teams.

It has been a pretty interesting week, though Stu's had a more interesting one. I've reached double figures in total stats. I now look like this:
Jarrin Carr
Short Passing 3 Tackling 3 Long Passing 2 Positioning 2 Stamina 1
A popped Stamina, and then changed the next days training to Positioning, and it popped. I'm hoping for another pop on positioning, as that is what I'm still training. Once that occurs, I'll revert to tackling. Stamina will begin definitely on Tuesday, but maybe on Monday depending on Positioning.
In other news, My Team travelled to Switzerland to play a Friendly. Fancy. We were doing well holding them out, and even took the lead in the 55th minute. 4 minutes later it was even, and then they stuffed two more goals past us, and especially after the better Keeper went off. I rated 5, something I'm good at doing by the looks of things.
I also had a surprise during the week too, a call up to the u18's Australian side! We play this Monday, so I might have to change my fitness training to that day(I do it on match days and it seems to work a treat as I come out of it on just about 100%), but aren't sure if I'll start as there are 3 DL's in the squad, but only 1 DC :cab: Fingers crossed for that one.

Woohoo! My first ever 8 rating thanks to 13% ball possession, an 100% tackle rate with 7 tackles made, 3 dribbles and 8 crosses. I must have been a whisker away from being man of the match in our 2-1 win over someone or other. I'm now in our division's team of the season. Go me!

Jarrin Carr
Short Passing 3 Tackling 3 Positioning 3 Long Passing 2 Stamina 1
Positioning popped one overnight.
I'm also in the Faroe Islands to either play or be a part of the team for the U18's. We should win, I should hopefully play as I think I'm the best defender selected. It's a close thing, but I'm going to give it to me. Biased, not muchly.
That will probably play havoc with my training, as I'm scheduled to do Stamina the next day, and so I will, but will also schedule in some fitness for the day after depending on the level. And then fitness for the next day because of a friendly I'm selected in. International's are a bugger on the training schedules.

2-11 game over the weekend, confirming that the top team in the league really is the top team. Still, I maintained my 6 average rating with, well, a 6 rating. Making me the second best player on our team - the goal(s)scorer got an 8.

I think I should be playing in our cup game on Wednesday, we're playing a bot team, so the manager generally gives this sort of match to the yoof.

PLayed in the cup game last night, we won 15-0 and I set up 3 of them for an 8 rating. Very pleased with the performance, TBH.

Played 90 mins in the Cup game last night against a managed Level III team, so they had the start of a decent squad. I was DMC and only got a 6, but that was because none of my team had any defending to do. We won 8-0.

The manager's just posted this to the forum in a thread titled "Future National Team Players" which compares players to others at their position "born" around the same time.
Name: Homer Hawkes Age: 18 Skill Count: 23.5 Country Rank: (Compared to defenders born 3 weeks before him) 1st Skill Diference from 1st: 0 skills Country Rank: (Compared to defenders born the same week and after) 1st Skill Difference from 1st: 0 skills

How do you work out the skill rank teh slut. Although I know I'm lagging behind similar aged blokes in my country because I have to use fitness two days a week.
IN other news I scored a 7 this week bumping my average up to 6.2 for the season. Woo and indeed hoo!

His a bit thick isn't he. If your contract was coming up at the end of the season, would that mean that this sort of information should be kept to himself until you've signed a new contract? Incidentally, how about a stats update?

I've got the same sort of main stats as you but I'm more of a 3 trick pony as I don't have anything in the lesser tribbies. As my manager hasn't changed anything after the first week I should imagine that will continue to be the case - I'll wind up with massive tackle, position, stamina, short passing - and technique (as I've altered my schedule to get 5 team training days, rather than the 4 I was on before) and bugger all in anything else.
Tackling: 5 Positioning: 5 Short Passes: 2 Heading: 1 Speed: 3 Stamina: 6
On the plus side I have very bad experience, rather than terrible. Yay! for me.

How do they work out the skill count - it isn't just adding up all the skill points is it? (doesn't seem to be looking at your abilities slugtty).

Apparently some managers (claim to) have a way to work out the hidden skills. So he's probably counted my tackling as a 6.5 rather than a 6.
I don't know how they do it, because I only really pay attention to my manager when he offers me a new contract.

He's stopped, because I didn't accept his last contract and changed my happiness to "leaving at the end of current contract."
So I don't think he's talking to me anymore.

Also, the US Federation had a "scavenger hunt" - there were 40 questions and any person could answer one of them. If you answered more than one then you were disqualified and you lost all your answers.
The team with the most answers at the end date of the competition got to host a US friendly at their stadium (and get the filthy cash that goes along with that).
So the manager flies in and answers one and then posts all of the other answers he knows on our forum and tells us all to go and post one answer. At which point somewhere around zero people run off to post answers.
The manager gets into a strop about that until I point out that US players account for less than 30% of our team and that the 75% of players who aren't American that he bought probably don't give a fook about US NT Friendly games.
So now he's pissed off with me, squared.

No wonder he won't offer a new contract, you're a trouble maker.
I upgraded my personal trainer as well, BTW. I have no idea if it'll make a difference though, buit I have nowt else to spend my money on - there's no hang-gliders.
