I'm hoping I'm not picked for the next cup game this week, I could do with getting some training sessions in rather than wasting them by getting back to fitness.

As for money, I'm getting in $2500, but need about $26k or so to get to the next personal trainer.
Stu, ask for a sign on fee to help you get to the next trainer if your going to be signing for a new club. I wish I'd done that.
Meanwhile the team training at my club is positioning, stamina, short passing, game vision and dribbling. I've been concentrating on position and stamina. Game vision has come into my schedule as I'm not getting any games, and so have altered my training schedule to include this and train fitness on other days.

My Manager said to me that there are training sessions that are not applicable to my position of DMC, so there is little point in wasting time on them. So when I see Finishing on the schedule, I just train something else. That's what the PT is for, I guess.
I'm also going to lay off Short Passes once I get to 9 (or maybe 10) as my peak training period will end when I get to 21 and there are other important aspects that I need to work on, Speed, Stamina, Gay Vision, Positioning and Tackling. Then once they're up to a reasonable level, I'll be able to go back to Short Passes again.
That's the idea anyway.

I've just been called up to the u18 side, which should increase my fee when I sign for whoever it is after this season.
Oh and be an honour to represent the country, yadda yadda.

Gah! My attempt to get my training scheme in line with the team training doesn't work as it leaves me below 80% today. Training fitness on game day doesn't work, because the match is in the evening. Back to fitness on Saturday and Monday and only having three days of team training then.

I played for the England U18s last night in the 6-0 win over Malta. I came off the bench to score.
Yay me!

:thumb: There Mr Moo - congratulations on the goal.
I got my first cap for the yanks and helped keep a clean sheet in a 6-0 win over New Zealand that confimed that the US u18s will be in the world cup next year.
I then flew to Holland to play for my new team and then I'll be flying to Wales tomorrow to die of jet lag, in Cardiff. Because I've signed for a Welsh team.

Fun, fun, fun on Footstar, where the lower national competition qualification stages have finished. In the Under 18s I got my first cap as we cruised into the finals and a first round clash with Lithuania, who are very good and will probably beat us, but the real amusement has been in the U21s. The US U21s were drawn with dangerous teams Romania, Spain and the Czech Republic and make-weights Wales and Paraguay. It turned out that the Czech Republic were too one-dimensional, being almost impossible to score on, but having little attack and with Romania being comfortably a class above it meant that Spain were expected to nip in as a best runner up. Except that the Yanks beat Meej's bunch 2-0 in Spain in the first game which meant that even though Spain came back with a 4-1 win in New York the head-to-head was a "wash" and qualification would depend on other results. As it turned out it all came down to the Welsh... ![:D](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/grin.png) The first games didn't decide much as USA beat Wales 17-0 after Spain had won their first game against the sheep-worriers 16-0. When the Welsh and US u21 teams met the second time, the Welsh national team had a friendly and so the Yanks duly caned Wales 19-0. But when the Welsh and Spanish u21's met, the main Welsh national team didn't have a game, so all of their young players went into the Welsh u21 team and Spain could only win 4-0. So when the Spanish finish third in their group behind the Yanks on goal difference, they got a little... annoyed. " I, President of the FEFS and representing the Spanish community, want to make public my rejection and outrage with the attitude taken by the U21 Wales National Team in the Qualifying phase of this category, and especially to their U21 manager, Mod-Sven Vossen, for the setting up he made on their matches and his player selections, clearly harmful and against the fair play, in what we, as we say in Spain, has been a "drop down of trousers".
I would also like to show my rejection towards the attitude of Wales Fed President, Tommy Jones, for allowing that, mentioned Sven Vossen, dirties up the name of his country in this way.
Finally, I want to leave clear that, on the part of the Spanish community, there is no bad feeling neither towards the country of Wales nor towards the Welshmen, but I DO want to advise them from here that they should not allow that this should happen, a country is not small or big for its size or number of inhabitants, but for the decisions that takes." Three weeks later they're still whining on and on and on in the National Manager's forums and are even posting in the Welsh forums now too. Endless posts that essentially start "We're not complaining, but..." Bless.

![:D](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/grin.png) Those forums are the ones I don't bother looking in considering all the National Coaches now basically ignore my player. Having the National coach as your manager is only good so far, especially as he has become a bit forgetful and left out only our best midfielder from the last game for the club, and left him out of the last National squad selected. The ironic thing is that my team went on to win that game 3-0 too which will keep us in the top flight next season. I'm not sure what that says about said player.

See? I always thought the Welsh were useful for something.
I'll hopefully be called up for the England U18s championship squad thingie, just because I'm Buster Commander and I say I should be in the squad.

I might see you there then, as I'm in the US squad. If we get past Lithuania then... we still won't play you, because you've drawn Brazil in the first round and are squarely fucked. ![:D](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/grin.png)

We're fooked not because they're Brazil, but because three of the top performers from the qualifiers are now ineligible. Put it this way, I'll probably be starting. ![:D](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/grin.png)

I'm a free agent now. Which would be nice if I could be arsed to sell my wares on the open market.
I can play at DC (I've even trained centre for one day) Anyone want to get their managers to sign me? (Slugt)?

I think there is a forum on FS for this sort of thing, isn't there? I'll see if there is interest from my manager in any case.
My lot threw away the league for the second successive season. They need Buster Commander in their starting XI.
