Yeah. Undoubtedly first degree murder, because picking a guy up, driving him to a secluded area and shooting him five times isn't something that happens by accident.
Under the laws here, even if he's charged with conspiracy, rather than pulling the trigger, co-conspirators are charged with every crime carried out during the course of the conspiracy. So whoever was there will be as guilty as the person who pulled the trigger. Five times.

Bizarre chain of events, if this was planned then I am frankly completely mystified how he felt it was going to play out.

Even if he gets off, nobody is going to touch him in the NFL, the owners just wouldn't allow it.
This will quite obviously have an adverse effect on the football team now and where the starter with the most catches in a Patriots uniform will be Devin McCourty.

Yeah, that's not happening. Unless the prosecution sleeps with half the jury and causes a mistrial. These geniuses took their own cellphones with them, meaning they're tracked by tower pings, sent several texts, (again giving away their positions), paid for stuff with plastic, thereby showing up on financial records and CCTV and then drove around Boston for ages because lord knows the site of a recent terrorist attack wouldn't be bathed in surveillance. Better yet they drove immediately from the area where Mr Lloyd's body was found to Hernandez's house and a shell casing and bubble gum wrapper, (guess what Hernandez bought on his way to the scene?), were found under the seat of the rental car when they handed it back in. Every time a new fact is given by the news I end up shouting at the TV screen "what were you thinking!?" When it's clear the answer is, "they weren't."

Unless Aaron's lawyer is Shaggy of "It Wasn't Me" fame, he's screwed, right?

I'm going back to all the people who thought Gronk wasn't being respectful of the organisation now to ask which of the tight ends they prefer.
Certainly if I had to chose between shooting someone and hanging out with Bibi Jones...

Bibi Jones is a pr0n star, right? I'm not googling that name at work. I'm just flummoxed as to how he thinks he can plead not guilty, going on what you stated above. There will be a technicality somewhere, I presume, but still. Is there any indication today as to when the trial will be? I suppose it won't be for a while.

I think this one might be surprisingly quick. Usually there's at least a year in very public cases, but if effectively someone else involved is pointing the finger, and meanwhile there is actual physical evidence, then the claims of "circumstance" and requesting delays from Judges and DA's isn't going to work.
The biggest delay will be if there's plea bargaining between the involved parties - i.e. if Hernandez gets someone else to take the fall and plays the "I was having a wee at the time, and he like totally attacked one of my friends who then used my gun to protect himself" card.
Or claims the glove doesn't fit.

He wears gloves in games, so that might be an option.
And apparently there is a Twitter photo of him holding a Glock 45 in one of those "selfies" type photos that the cool kids do. Clown.

So Moo, do the Pats still challenge for the division? Are 10 wins possible if Brady has nobody to pass to? Are the defence and o-line built to grind out wins?

Some "experts" are making comparisons to the early Brady years where he had no names to throw to and so there shouldn't be a problem. The difference being, of course, is that he had some sort of chemistry with them. Yes, David Patten, Troy Brown, David Givens weren't big names, but he had time to work with them all. Also, he had a lot of help from the very good defense.
This season, we don't have that very good defense, it's OK, improving, but not top 10. I think re-signing Talib was a big positive for us as it means McCourty won't be playing Corner this season. But with the receiving corps, it's a worry. We have Amendola who is Welker-lite (if such a thing exists), some non-receiving TEs and some no-name WRs who don't have any game time with Brady. Tom will only be able to do so much, but as we saw with Chad85 and to a lesser extent Brandon Lloyd (who I think we should have kept, even for a bit of consistency), some WRs really struggle with our offence. The o-line will do their jobs and we have them all back, so I can only see another good year from Ridley.
I would probably envisage more two-RB sets with Vereen as a screen option. He has good hands and can turn on the speed when he needs to. We do have Blount and Leon Washington, so there are options in the back, but we won't be SB contenders this year. I still see us getting into the playoffs though, pretty much by default, but we'll be pushed hard by Miami, IMO. I don't see New Joisey or Buffalo-eh getting enough wins to challenge.

Has to be said the guys he had in early Brady years were a bit more seasoned and mature than the WR's you don't have today.
Randy Moss, Chad Johnson and Terrell Owens should sign for you for the lulz.

Agree with the frist bit, Dave, not so much the second bit. But again, we're in the AFC East and whilst Miami will make it more competitive, we'll probably be up there by default more than Tom's skillz.

Randy, Chad and TO haven't killed anyone yet. Or danced naked in a nightclub, or filmed another teams signals, or drafted Tim Tebow.
if you're quick you might even be able to tempt David Boston out of retirement.

So Hernandez had another apartment, previously unknown to the police until his mate let it slip. Oops! THey found clothing there that it seems he wore on that night, as well as some .45 caliber ammo. I'm not sure, but I think Aaron my be in a bit of bother here.
In other news, the Patriots have changed their logo. It's less ghey, but it's still not the one from the 80s/90s that I loved.

One of Hernandez friends, conveniently asleep through key moments, says Hernandez did it.
In other news, Herns shirt swap cost the Pats 250K!!!!!!! Because the RRP of a shirt is totally how you calculate losses on your balance sheet. Stupid Yank writers.

Yeah, I've also heard that EA have dropped him from the Madden game too, (not just the rosters) which I'm sure he'll be losing sleep over.

EA have also dropped him from the NCAA game, after someone playing NCAA 2009 saw him on the Florida Gators and phoned EA to complain.
In related news, I want to punch whoever that was.
